While the other disciples, inner and outer run their way back to the entrance of the Shen Hua Mountain, Chen Yi was buying time for the disciples to escape safely by slicing down the incoming attacks of the human snakes.
Earlier they ran maybe because they are alone and they know how weak they will be if they attacked a multiple person alone. It seems that they use their brains in attacking. Now that the human snakes are swarming with a large amount of them, attacking and crawling onto Chen Yi. Human snakes prefer feeding on to things that have a refined and stronger spiritual qi—and Chen Yi was the best option.
Yellow spiritual qi enveloped through Chen Yi's blade. She closed her eyes and focused on infusing more qi. When the qi was enough in her sword. She made a five slash in the air and the infused spiritual qi was shaped into a claws that sliced most of the human spiders into pieces.
Five Claws of Juhua. (Chrysanthemum)
As soon as the human snakes was sliced into pieces, the human face on their head disappeared and it turned back to an original snake. It's must be because they feed on spiritual qi on the flowers that is actually used by humans, so they slowly turned like them but in a deformed way.
Once the snakes was decreased in a large amount of number, Chen Yi sighed heavily and put her sword back to its scabbard. It was a sword that had a chrysanthemum pattern in the grip and a yellow shining blade. The few snakes didn't dare attack her anymore because of their small numbers.
The snakes crawled away in fear through the bushes. Chen Yi grabbed the firework in her waist and light it up. It exploded in a different sparks of color. The firework would be only used if something life-threatening happened to the Moun Hua Peak's disciples, and it would call reinforcements of Wan Zhan Peak disciples.
They all escaped the Shen Hua Mountain without wounds but their inner spiritual qi were all damaged by the vibration roar of the gigantic strange creature earlier. The disciples catch their breath and the others were drinking water. Chen Yi fixed her tied unruly hair. A few minutes, Peak Master Tian Lang, Peak Master Mo Xian, Bai Lan and other Wan Zhan Peak's disciple already arrived, riding on their flying swords.
Mo Xian immediately approached Chen Yi. "Are you okay? What about the others? Where is Liu Xiao?" he worriedly asked pile of questions while examining Chen Yi if she had suffered any wounds.

Chen Yi shook her head and answered. "I'm okay Master. The disciples were fine and unscratched." She didn't answered her Master's last question but instead, changed the topic. "Master Mo why are you here? Shouldn't you be resting at Mount Hua Peak while we get the Black Lotus Essence?"
Chen Yi glanced at Peak Master Tian Lang. Tian Lang just looked away with a face of defeat. Her Master must've insisted on coming once he saw the emergency fireworks.
Mo Xian massaged his temples. Mo Xian said, his voice trembling and his expression full of regrets. The atmosphere suddenly became quiet. No one answered. Mo Xian's calm demeanor showed a slight panicked expression. Mo Xian asked again, his lips trembling. Chen Yi and the disciples remained silent until one girl bravely answered.
the girl said, her voice trembling and tears were falling down on her swollen eyes.
After the girl answered, the mount Hua Peak Master didn't say anything. The whole atmosphere was silent until Master Tian Lang spoke. Chen Yi glanced at her Master who still remained silent and sighed before answering.
Tian Lang slowly nodded.
He turned at his disciple, Bai Lan and said:
Bai Lan said while bowing to Tian Lang while he dragged two Wan Zhan Peak's disciples and entered the mountain while riding their flying swords.
Chen Yi glanced at her Master. He is still silent and processing what the girl said. She slowly approached him and grabbed her Master's hand.
Liu Xiao glanced at the deep dark ground below. One wrong move and we might get our skull cracked or die from fall. I need to hold on a bit more longer before i come up a plan.
He glanced at Wu Qingge who is holding his hand tight. Liu Xiao felt heavy because he's holding from the exposed rock from the cliff while grabbing Wu Qingge's full weight. It's like holding on a fragile metal while carrying a car!
The rock that his hand was holding onto couldn't take their weight anymore and started to slowly crumble. Liu Xiao's hand slipped a bit but he held on the rock tighter to maintain their position. He glanced at his sword and thought about something.
He called. Wu Qingge glanced at him. Liu Xiao breathe heavily and hold on the rock tighter before talking. Wu Qingge put more weight in Liu Xiao's arms to pull himself up and grabbed the sword on his waist. The rock was about to crumble as Liu Xiao held on to it. Before they both fall on the cliff, Wu Qingge put the sword in Liu Xiao's arms that was holding him and Liu Xiao immediately infused spiritual qi on the sword as soon as it made contact with his palm and balanced himself to hop on to it and catched Wu Qingge.

Liu Xiao shouted. He grabbed Wu Qingge up to sit on his flying sword as they both catch their breath. Wu Qingge said while panting.
Liu Xiao just nodded and catches his breath. He stayed on mid air while glancing at the cliff above and the dark unknown place below. He asked Wu Qingge.
Wu Qingge looked away. He was hesitant to say anything at first then he answered later on. Liu Xiao glanced below the cliff. It was really dark and foggy that he couldn't see anything. He raised his hand to control the flying sword and slowly went down.
As the go down, it became dark, then became foggy and then suddenly, a purple beam of light appeared everywhere. There were flowers on the stones that lights the dark escarpment. who would've thought that the legendary flowers are all planted here in the deep slope of the cliff.
Liu Xiao, charmed by the flower, unconsciously raised his hand and was about to touch it when Wu Qingge suddenly grabbed his hand to stop him. he simply said with a gentle voice. Liu Xiao nodded and Wu Qingge released his arm and started walking somewhere. Liu Xiao followed him.
Wu Qingge was too fast that he couldn't keep up. He started to walk-run just to keep up with him but he still couldn't so Liu Xiao had no choice but to hold the hem Wu Qingge's clothes. Wu Qingge stopped and glanced at him from behind. he asked with a low voice, a slight smile showing at the side of his lips.
Liu Xiao replied. Wu Qingge began walking again with a slow pace. Liu Xiao followed him from behind while holding on the hem of Wu Qingge's clothes as they proceed further and further from through the cave emitting a purple light.
Liu Xiao heard a sound of stones creaking echoing throughout the cave but Wu Qingge proceeds on walking so he had no choice but to gripped his hem tighter while following him from behind. The rustling sound as they proceed becomes louder and louder.
Liu Xiao jumped on Wu Qingge. He catch him by grabbing his waist and supporting his thighs. Liu Xiao jumped off him and blocked Wu Qingge. The boy frowned at confusion while looking at Liu Xiao. Liu Xiao said while unsheathing his sword and listening carefully to the creaking sound.
Suddenly, a human snake smaller that the ones he saw in the Shen Hua Mountain forest earlier appeared. It's face was not deformed but instead, it was a face of a female child. It's face was pale and sullen. The tiny human snake glanced at Liu Xiao, he flinched. It crawled all the way to approach him and he was surprised on the next thing that happened.
The human snake with a face of a child started making noises. It's voice was tiny and sweet to the point that Liu Xiao took a pity on it. He unsheathed his sword and smiled gently on the human snake. Even though it's body looked unsightly and disgusting that other people will be scared at it, Liu Xiao gently patted the human snake's head.
Liu Xiao greeted the snake. The human snake tilted it's head and just looked at him. He asked, handing out a small biscuit he got from the small pouch in his waist. Liu Xiao stole biscuits at the Mount Hua Peak for snacks before going out for the mission.
The human snake make noises again, it's like it's answering Liu Xiao's question. Liu Xiao fed the small biscuit it it's tiny mouth. It slowly crunched the biscuit until the human snake started asking for more. Of course, Liu Xiao ged it with a gentle smile on his face.
Later on, the tiny human snake walked away. It was calling them to follow it. Liu Xiao and Wu Qingge followed the human snake deeper into the cave.
While Liu Xiao eats the leftover biscuits on his pouch, Wu Qingge suddenly talked. Liu Xiao gasped at him. he asked teasingly. Wu Qingge just put a smile on his face and didn't say anything.
their attention turned to the tiny human snake. Liu Xiao's jaw dropped to the point that it would be rolling on the ground on what he saw.
It was the black lotus essence. A white lotus flower with overflowing black purplish spiritual qi. The human snake must've fixed it's deformed face by making contact with the black lotus essence itself. If the large snake earlier eat this, it will not make him a monster but instead, a complete human! It was not what he expected. So it could really fix anything!
While at the entrance of the Shen Hua Mountain, Bai Lan and the two disciples came back. The Mount Hua Peak disciples, Chen Yi and Master Mo Xian were all waiting on what he was about to say.
