the whole crowd was speechless as they saw a beautiful man, who is close to a celestial swung his sword to protect the young owner of the eatery when no one dared to do so. Yin Meiyuan, the emperor's concubine, raised her eyebrows at the sight of Liu Xiao and a light smile appeared on her lips.

The guards looked at their Master but she never said anything and crossed her arms. the guard said with outmost respect to Liu Xiao. Liu Xiao clicked his tounge and still unsheathed his sword.

Liu Xiao scoffed. The commoners who were watching behind and beside were amazed by his bravery. But in fact, his appetite was really gone.

The guards and also Yin Meiyuan was speechless on his words, Wu Qingge on behind, stayed still but he was guarding the guards and the woman's action to Liu Xiao. Yin Meiyuan was offended by Liu Xiao's words but she didn't show it and maintain her dignified appearance.

Liu Xiao turned at the owner kf the eatery who was in daze in him and looking at him with admiration and asked, Liu Xiao boldly said. The commoners' faces were like "ooooooooohhhhhh" as he said that word. Yin Meiyuan gritted her teeth and gripped tightly on the hem of her beautiful clothes.

Yin Meiyuan said in a serious voice but her dignified posture remained. Liu Xiao said with a mocking voice.

"It's the Meihua Swan! He's here!"

"Look! The rumors were true! He's so beautiful! Like a celestial being brought down by the heavens!"

"He looks so feminine and fragile, but he's actually strong!"

"Look behind him! It's Wu Qingge! They really eloped!"

Liu Xiao loudly cleared his throat to silence the whispers of the crowd behind. He shifted his gaze in Yin Meiyuan who was looking at him with hidden bloodlust.

Yin Meiyuan's giggle echoed inside his ears. She walked slowly with her bare long and sharp nails exposed. All the people outside suddenly crowded around them and watched. Liu Xiao noticed that he shouldn't fight in a small space like this, resulting thay he may harm the normal people along their fight but it looks like Yin Meiyuan is not backing down nor retreating.

No, you're not, bitch. It's obvious you are not going to retreat seeing how amused you are. Yin Meiyuan teasingly asked while caressing her sharp and long nails.

Liu Xiao said coldly and spread his spiritual qi all over his body, like a paper slowly being burned by a small fire. The people watching were all mesmerized by his godly appearance. He slowly float to the air, his eyes still closed. Yin Meiyuan scowled and started to attack. She was attacking Liu Xiao like a wild hissing cat but it's noticable that the red stains in her hand were poison.

Liu Xiao gently twirled and swung his sword like a warm breeze slowly brushing on the trees and making it flutter. The blade of his sword emitted a white pink color that makes it look more beautiful and captivating. The people in the crowd felt like they were watching a sword dance instead of watching a fight. They were staring at Liu Xiao who danced like a sacred swan in mid air.

Yin Meiyuan was starting to get impatient because her claws never touched a strand of Liu Xiao's hair even once so she was about to throw a powdered pouch that was hanging on her waist but Wu Qingge directly focused his spiritual qi to her, making her halt and gasp for air. Liu Xiao noticed the warm and comfortable qi of Wu Qingge and opened his eyes, his spiritual qi all over his body slowly disappearing and sheating his sword back to it's scabbard.

Although Black Lotus Qi is a demonic qi, it was actually most effective to demons, that's why Wu Qingge, on the original novel decided to take over the demonic cult who had a connection to the underworld, especially the demon king sealed in that place.

Yin Meiyuan was originally inside the underworld but maybe she had escaped and possesed a body of a human. Demons body are originally like a small ball of fire, it was their soul that originated inside the underworld. They find a host and possess it like parasite and feed on the host's advantages and disadvantages.

Wu Qingge purposely focused his spiritual qi on Yin Meiyuan because of the people around. Even though normal people can't cultivate, they can still see spiritual qi as well as demonic qi and it can affect them base on the aura it's emitting. Liu Xiao glanced at Yin Meiyuan whose body was slowly turning into a original ugly and rotten creature.

"Kyaaaaaaaaa!"

"Look! A monster! The emperor's concubine is a monster!"

"It's unsightly! It's so ugly!"

"Quick! Stay away!"

As the demon inside Yin Meiyuan heard those words from the people, her body started trembling at let out a loud cry, vibrating all over the town and making the ears of those people bleed.

Liu Xiao immediately took out a talisman infused with his own spiritual qi and sticked it to Yin Meiyuan's body. The unsightly demon slowly turned into a small ball of yellow fire while letting out a loud cry and the fire slowly died, like a burned paper slowly crumbling into ashes.

Liu Xiao let out a sigh of relief while staring at the original Yin Meiyuan, who was sleeping with anoeaceful expression in her face but with a slight pain showing on her expression.

Liu Xiao carried the woman's body and landed down from the roof. He turned to the curious eyes of the people and smiled gently at them.

The commoners were dazed by his smile first, but after, a loud cheer was heard, praising the Black Lotus and The Meihua Swan from their heroic act on saving the town and the original body of the woman. Liu Xiao glanced at Wu Qingge who was sitting in the roof and staring down at him and he awkwardly smiled and gestured him to come down.

The guards earlier approached the two of them. Liu Xiao handed the original body of Yin Meiyuan to them and said, Liu Xiao simply instructed and the guards nodded in reply and gently held the body of their Master while they put her in her imperial carriage and went back to the palace.

Liu Xiao blurted out while he stretched his body. Wu Qingge asked, evwn though the way he called hin gege was very sincere and intimate, Liu Xiao didn't mind it for some reason.

As the two of them entered a large building inn, the woman became flustered at the sight of two handsome men entering. She gently put her hair back on her ear and went to greet them. she asked them sweetly. Liu Xiao smiled at her and answered,

Wu Qingge bluntly answered. Liu Xiao frowned at him and whispered, even though Liu Xiao is whispering, it was still loud and the woman can hear it. Wu Qingge replied with a low voice. Liu Xiao said and turned to the woman.

the girl was dumbfounded but she still nodded. Liu Xiao nodded and handed her one gold tael. The woman was about to say that it's too much but the two suddenly went up to take a rest. the woman murmured.

Liu Xiao closed the door and opened the lantern beside the large table and let his raven black hair loose and straight. He glanced at Wu Qingge who was fidgeting his fingers and staring at him.

Liu Xiao put his sword in the large table and tilted his head at him. he asked Wu Qingge. Wu Qingge just smiled and shook his head. He stood and spoke, before he could finish his sentence, Liu Xiao lay beside him in the large bed and replied, and also i'm used to sleeping with my big brothers in a small cramp bed in my original world.

The two of them lay on the bed, their eyes wide awake and not saying anything until Wu Qingge broke the silence.

Liu Xiao frowned and answered,

Wu Qingge let out a sigh of relief.

Liu Xiao asked.

Wu Qingge said. So you chose me just to make fun of me?! Am i a clown?!

Liu Xiao asked again.

Wu Qingge immediately answered. That's right, the original "Liu Xiao" was childish!

Liu Xiao turned at him and laughed awkwardly before turning around and slowly closed his eyes.
