Bai Lan pushed Lan Yang away. Liu Xiao was almost squeezed to death by the two guys arguing beside him while Chen Yi and Shan Ling infront of them were feeling comfortable and Shan Ling telling her nonsense stories again.
It's the sixteenth time he apologized to Shi Xuan beside him. Because he was frequently squeezed to death by Bai Lan beside him, his body was often pressed to Shi Xuan and sometimes their cheeks were accidentally brushing together. Liu Xiao felt really embarrassed and apologetic at the same time but Shi Xuan didn't say anything nor complained.
Lan Yang growled and pushed Bai Lan away, Liu Xiao was squeezed again and he really feel like crying. He sighed and lightly pushed Bai Lan's back. Liu Xiao explained.
Bai Lan yelled. Lan Yang also yelled in return. Liu Xiao massaged his temple and just imagined that there are one cat and one dog fighting beside him. He just let them be and started to munch biscuits in the table.
After they reported to the floating palace owner and the other peak masters present in the great hall, they were immediately assigned to travel straight to the ghost town since the demon cult's base was already found. Because the ghost town is full of vulgar and suspicious people, they decided to change their clothing into commoners clothes and just rode in one carriage together to not catch attention and lay low.
Chen Yi hushed Shan Ling's non-stop mouth for a moment and talked,
Liu Xiao pondered for a bit, he took a peek to his dimension ring and had an idea. Bai Lan frowned at him and immediately objected, Liu Xiao shook his head and took out one bottle of pills and showed it to him. Liu Xiao suggested.
The people present doesn't seem to have any objections and only kept quiet so he smiled and put back the bottle of pills inside. Chen Yi sipped in her tea and asked while raising her eyebrows, Shan Ling, Lan Yang and Bai Lan also shook their head. Liu Xiao and Shi Xuan only remained unbothered. Liu Xiao sighed and replied,
Shi Xuan said beside him. Liu Xiao shook his head and said, after that, they sticked to their plan until they arrived at the ghost town.

The ghost town was once a nice and comfortable town that would be recommendable to live in. Ever since the drought, flood and landslide attacked the town and people left one by one, it became an abandoned town. The demon cult leader must've found that abandoned town and made it their base.
As soon as they all arrived, they expected an eerie and quiet town that was supposed to be scary and full of evil things. But it's no different from the black market, it was more worse than the black market. There were many people, houses and buildings everywhere, red lanterns hanging everywhere and the atmosphere was stinking with the smell of cigarettes and alcohol.
The floating palace master told them that the ghost town had a barrier so they should not use their spiritual qi or let alone use it once they entered because it can alarm the demon cult inside. As soon as they entered, Liu Xiao took a heavy sigh and proceed to walk. The people didn't notice them because they were dressed in common clothes and they didn't look extravagant so it made them had a but of advantage to move silently.
Shi Xuan said, looking hesistant, his both hands placed at his back. Liu Xiao happily nodded and patted his head. Shi Xuan turned around to leave but he halted and spoke, Liu Xiao was stunned for a moment until he realized that Shi Xuan already disappeared.
Liu Xiao readied his items inside his cloth bag. He already infused spiritual qi in the pills and also took out the items since he wouldn't be able to use spiritual qi to pull out the pill bottles in his dimension ring so he's thankful he had a bag inside. Chen Yi, Shan Ling, Bai Lan and Lan Yang were pretending to be sipping tea and talking around him to protect Liu Xiao and examine the place. Liu Xiao took out a white blanket and arranged the bottles, he cleared his throat and pondered for a bit.
He infused spiritual qi on this and made an effort to upgrade the pills but he suddenly shrink back in embarrassment to call the pill. Bai Lan frowned at him and Liu Xiao awkwardly smiled. Okay, okay... This is it! It's for the mission don't be embarrassed...

Liu Xiao took a deep breath before shouting at the top of his lungs, as he said those words, he tightly closed his eyes and his cheeks were slightly flushed red.
Chen Yi wished she could ran away and bury herself deep in the mountains right now. Her hands were trembling as he elegantly sipped her tea infront of Shan Ling who was holding back her laughter while looking at Liu Xiao who was shouting.
The people around the ghost town floxked around him, mostly men, curious of the pills he's talking about. Liu Xiao grinned and continued his salesman work.
Chen Yi choked on her tea. She started coughing loudly while Shan Ling went to approach her and gently patted her back. Bai Lan only looked away and pretended to be normal while Lan Yang was looking at Liu Xiao with his eyes raised.
Liu Xiao glaned at the old man and gestured him to come, he took out a pill and gave it to him. Liu Xiao said.
The old man glanced at him and slowly swallowed the pill. His body suddenly felt weird until the thing in the middle of his groin became swollen big. Liu Xiao silently smirked and clapped his hands.
Liu Xiao accepted their money in exchange of the bottle of pills. He made a great effort upgrading it into a real penis enlargement pill because this is the best medicine he could think of, though it only works on common people. It won't work on people with spiritual energy. He accepted the taels and handed them the right amount of pill bottles. He let out a sigh of relief and wiped the sweat on his forehead, the mark on it started to become itchy again.
He approached Chen Yi's direction and was about to drink some tea in her table when Chen Yi slapped his hands, Liu Xiao groaned in pain and caressed his swollen red hands then frowned at Chen Yi. Liu Xiao asked, his face looking puzzled.
Chen Yi didn't looked at him and continued sipping her tea. Later on, she glanced at Liu Xiao, gritting her teeth and whispering angrily.
Liu Xiao tilted his head and only scratched his head. Shan Ling snickered and whispered loudly to Chen Yi, Chen Yi rolled her eyes only sighed. Chen Yi murmured, pouring Liu Xiao a cup of tea.
Chen Yi sprayed the tea in her mouth. Shan Ling immediately took out a napkin and wiped her face, Bai Lan only looked away, pretending to be a normal person while Lan Yang was biting his lips, restraining his laughter.
Liu Xiao immediately shut his mouth and changed the topic. Chen Yi and Shan Lang shook their head while Lan Yang and Bai Lan didn't answer. Liu Xiao sighed. They didn't notice anything...this demon cult leader must be smart and remained to stay low. What should we do? We don't know what level he will be if we fight him head on and his underlings.
All of them were startled when they heard a loud scream of a woman outside. Liu Xiao glanced at the four before they swiftly went up the roof the different houses unnoticed, peeking at the current situation. A woman with a fresh cuts on her face and her bright yellow robe drenched in blood was dragged by two men dressed in black robe.
The woman struggled while the two men dragged her, she let out a shrieking cry and yelled,
The people passing by turned blind eye on her. They continued on their business like they were used to it ot maybe they didn't dare to interfere with the men dressed in black present. They looked away to the wailing woman in fear and gave way to them.
Liu Xiao turned at Bai Lan and whispered, the two nodded since they were in a desperate situation to find the demon cult leader.
While they were waiting for the right time to strike, a low voice called Liu Xiao from behind.
