A whole army was positioned right at the entrance of the underworld kingdom with their black and silver armor, a demon with a ace of a lizard and a body of a man was the only noticable because he was the only one separated from the others.

The lizard man yelled at the top of his lungs, his subordinates laughed alongside him and raided their deadly weapons while they ride their skeleton horse. Liu Xiao's brows twitched and he wished that he could summon Huangtian right now and cook all of tem into a fine, delicious food.

The lizard man shifted his gaze at him again and laughed mockingly, his subordinates also laughed while pointing their fingers at Liu Xiao. Liu Xiao bit his lip to restrain himself from the childish mockery he was receiving, he stretch his hand forward and raised his middle finger at them.

The lizard man glared at him and mocked with a sneer.

A loud bursting sound suddenly resonated inside the chamber. Liu Xiao turned around and saw Wu Qingge gripping on the broken tea cup with his soaking burned hand, Liu Xiao immediately panicked and picked up his ripped old plain white robe from earlier.

Liu Xiao said with a frown as he wiped the tea on Wu Qingge's hand, he leaned closer and started blowing on it with an anxious expression.

A low chuckle clung on Liu Xiao's ears, he lifted his gaze with an irritated look and his hands that was wiping continiously on Wu Qingge's hand stopped.

The nostalgic usual gentle smile was appearing on Wu Qingge's face. It was always what Liu Xiao waited everyday back at the Mount Hua Peak and just by seeing it made his heart warm and full. Seeing it right now, Liu Xiao can't hold back his emotion and tears started streaming down on the corner of his eyes like a cascading waterfall.

Liu Xiao was raising his eyes and his mouth was slightly opened. He unconciously nodded his head and replied,

In a blink of an eye, Wu Qingge was already gone and with another blink, the whole army of the demon clan was annihilated.

Xin Yue shoved the ol blanket and stared outside the old temple. Banyue embraced him from the back and his droopy blood red eyes was staring intently at him, Xin Yue glanced at him with an arched brows and spoke.

Banyue's droopy blood red eyes lowered and his chin rested on Xin Yue's exposed broad shoulder. Xin Yue was staring outside the temple in a daze, the moon was bright and big, the stars are glowing and twinkling while the trees are slightly swaying and rustling from the cold breeze.

A beautiful woman wearing a scarlet red thin clothes tossed the transparent silver crystal and stretch her body. Another woman who was looking rather calm and poised behind her took a few steps forward and spoke.

The beautiful woman who was Shan Ling, turned around with a sweet smile.

The poised and calm woman who was Chen Yi lowered her gaze at her with a blunt reply,

Shan Ling stood up and brushed the dust on her long scarlet red pants.

As they passed through the illusion barrier embedded on the stone at the volcano and a new image of Tian Shou Mountain greeted their sight. Chen Yi fixed the scabbard of her sword on her belt and glanced back at Shan Ling.

Chen Yi spoke with a deadpan face.

Shan Ling glanced back at the invisible barrier and only shook her head with a reply,

The two of walked down the Tian Shou Mountain. Two carriages were waiting at the entrance with two men leaning on the carriages with a crossed arms and grumpy face. The man with a small baby face and a pure black clothing stood properly when he saw Chen Yi and Shan Ling already walking out of the mountain.

The baby faced man in pure black clothing asked with a bow.

Chen Yi bowed back as a greeting and replied.

Bai Lan nodded and hopped inside the carriage. The other tall and muscular man that looked somewhat handsome and wild like a beast snorted and also get inside the same carriage as Bai Lan.

Shan Ling and Chen Yi went inside the other carriage. The coachmen lightly whipped the horse and the carriages started moving in a safe speed. Shan Ling poured herself a cup of tea on the table and also poured for Chen Yi too, she took a sip and stared at the outside in a daze.

Chen Yi shifted her gaze at Shan Ling who spoke while she rested her arm on the edge of the window. Chen Yi scoffed and put the down the cup of tea with a reply.

Shan Ling withdrew her arms on the edge of the window with a sweet smile.

Chen Yi who was closed her eyes replied in a low calm voice,

Chen Yi remained closing her eyes but the corners of her lips twitched in astonishment, she opened her eyes and didn't answer but a faint of bitterness and grief was shown on her face. Shan Ling immediately apologized,

Chen Yi replied bluntly,

Shan Ling snorted and leaned on the small table. Whenever she was bored, nonsense words always came out of her mouth. Chen Yi was annoyed at her at first but with Shan Ling clinging on her and annoying her for eight years, she eventually got used to it.

In the midst of the deafening silence, Shan Ling suddenly spoke again.

Chen Yi glanced at her and pursed her lips. After a while, she replied while sipping her tea.

Shan Ling said with a clap.

Chen Yi remained silent for a while before she responded,

Shan Ling groaned in boredom and leaned on the small table again.

The women dressed in bright red thin robes with a rouge on their faces giggled.

Liu Xiao's eyes widened and he hid himself to the corner, a man standing beside the door with a dignified appearance caught his attention.

Liu Xiao pleaded while pulling the hem of Hong Jin's black robe.

Hong Jin only lowered his gaze at him and looked away. Liu Xiao was left with his mouth hanged open until the women dressed in bright red robes with rouges on the faces captured him and tied him up with a red ribbon.

The woman who ordered her companions clapped with a satisfied expression.

Liu Xiao struggled and roared.

Liu Xiao cried while stomping his foot in annoyance,

The women ignored him and turned deaf ears on his pleads and curses. Before Liu Xiao was tied up, the women dressed him in a black and gold robe that is comfortable for him to wear and not that heavy. The ladies started to fix his hair and decorated it with tiny gold pearls, his eyes was painted with gold as well as his lips, the women put a golden flower on Liu Xiao's forehead as a finishing look that will make him look more captivating and alluring.

One woman said while putting back the golden pearls on his hair.

Liu Xiao didn't listen and continued to struggle, the women fixed him over and over again until Liu Xiao ran out of energy from all the hopeless struggles he did just escape from being tied like a gift. Liu Xiao lifted his glance at the women who was smiling maliciously at him with a woman on the front holding a small pouch on her hand.

Liu Xiao growled.

The woman who was holding the small pouch giggled and replied,

Before Liu Xiao could say anything, the woman opened the pouch an a red smoke surfaced around the boutique house until it turned into a mist that made Liu Xiao fall into a deep sleep.
