《Dark Lord》Chapter 16

Mowan sat on the grass, looking at the sky.
Spring had already arrived.
Two years had passed by in the blink of an eye. Everything was like usual, except, except for her brother.
When he had woke up, everyone was filled with relief. Then, they found out that he had lost all his memories, forgetting even them.
He had changed so much from the person he once was. Not only did his appearance change, his attitude turned cold, heartless, merciless, and bloodthirsty. He was the same person, but he had changed so much.
Even so, Mowan thought that this was better. Because he had changed, he knew not to trust outsiders, he was somebody who you needed to gain his trust from first.
LuJin was now 20 years old. A Rank Black Level 9 cultivator. When he had first awoken, he had no idea about who he was, where he was, or who those people were. Throughout the two years, everything was getting better.
He was told about how he had changed so much from how he use to be before, but since he didn't know what type of person he was, he liked this version of him better. When he was told that he use to be kind and caring, he almost couldn't believe it.
He was not even one bit, kind or caring. That was only reserved for his family and his sect member's, and barely too.
To be more reasonable, he thought of himself as a bloodthirsty demon. If someone were to provoke him, their head would be off their neck before they even realize it.
He liked how he was so powerful, he loved how he had changed. The old him sounded like someone who trusted too easily, someone easy to hurt. He didn't like that one bit.

Today was the Sect's Competition. Five Sects were chosen from the Five Nations to battle it and see which Nation held the strongest sect.
Although they weren't invited, LuJin would love to crash that competition. They were the strongest sect, their throne was unshakable.
Not all the members of Shadow Sect would be going, only his family. Even so, that was enough to defeat them all, maybe even too much. He wasn't going to intervene, not unless he really started to get bloodthirsty.
But if that was the point, the one who decides to come against him would surely die.
"LuJin!" Moxin said as she wrapped her arm around LuJin's waist, her head up against his hair.
Moxin loved the color of his hair. She loved the color of his eyes and the mark on his face that made him even more beautiful. She would love him no matter what. He was her dearest younger brother.
"Yes, sister?" LuJin said, although his voice was filled with love, his voice couldn't hide the slight devious tone.
His long white hair was put up into a ponytail, the beautiful black mark in his face proudly showing. His red piercing eyes glimmered in the sunlight, making him appear evil.
"We're going to be leaving now." Moxin said as she grabbed LuJin's hand and led him to where the rest of their family had gathered up.
The Sect Competition. Everyone in her family was anticipating it. They wanted revenge. But they waited because of her brother. He has changed, but it was better for all of them. Before, he would hesitate to kill, but now, he was the first one to kill
He was always the first to kill the intruders that dared to sneak into their valley. And he did this with no remorse.

Even so, Moxin liked this version of him better.
LuJin nodded his head, as Moxin pulled him. When they arrived, his parents and older sister were there.
"LuJin-ah, are you ready?" Meirin asked her youngest child.
"Yes, Mother." LuJin replied.
His eyes lightly glinted, as he thought about the competition.
"Then let's set off." Jiantang said.
They all flew into the air, and continued to go at a fast pace. LuJin looked behind him, as their house grew farther away, and the thick trees cleared out.
Wu Luiyin looked at the battle going on. He didn't care. If it weren't for the fact that he was in Heaven's Sect, and that he was the Crown Prince of Xianghou, he wouldn't even be here.
As he stared at the battle, a tug at his clothes made him look down.
He stared at his 1 1/2 year old son, Wu Wenting.
After Jin was taken away, Ru Lian's scheme was put out in the open. When his son was born, she was banished out of the land. His son was unable to cultivate, because his own mother poisoned him. It would be better for him to never know who she was.
Wu Luiyin grabbed Wu Wenting and set him down in his lap, continuing to watch the fight.
Wu Wenting looked at the battle. His beautiful blue eyes stared at the battle. His fair skin glimmered under the sun.
Wu Luiyin wrapped his arms around Wu Wenting's waist, securing him in place.
When Jin left, it felt like a piece of him was torn away from him.
He knew now. He and Jin were two worlds apart. Jin was the most powerful being in the Five Nations. And him? He was only powerful enough to beat the other Nations, he would never stand a chance against Jin.
Xi Yu stared at Wu Luiyin from her place. She had finally stepped into Gold Rank. She was now a Gold Rank Level 1 cultivator.
She had heard that Wu Luiyin was now a Gold Rank Level 3 cultivator.
On that day that she had exposed Ru Lian's evil scheme, she knew that Ru Lian would never be able to stay in her position. But she believed that the punishment for Ru Lian wasn't enough.
Just then, a powerful aura leaked out, suppressing everyone, as a cold but evil voice spook out.
"Woah, looks like everyone has already joined the fun. Mind if we join?"

The Choice is Not Yours
Author's Note: (As of November 20, 2021) I rewrote all the chapters perhaps more than a year ago, but haven't announced that I did so. Because that kind of announcement would include something along the lines of, "I'm working on the story so expect new chapters!" But the truth is, I lack motivation to do anything. And I would hate myself if I broke a promise. I'm extremely sorry if you have been patiently waiting for uploads. These days, I've been studying, not well, but studying somewhat. I will definitely bring more to show, with regular uploads. If not this story then there's another story I've been writing that's really exciting to me. It's not exactly similar to this story since it has a male lead and he is a baneful asshole with even less morals. I hope you'll like it when it comes to existence. And I'll leave my announcement off with the aforementioned promise. Meet Amber, a tomboyish, unstable, and cheeky lass who likes to keep to herself. According to her, she'll live the rest of her life on auto-pilot mode, awhile holding onto the few things that make her remotely happy. However, she forgot that people never really leave you alone, be it humans or even the Gods. And exactly that happens, ending her monotonous life on such the Gods' whim. But at what cost to her? Will she be able to hold onto the things she holds dear? Or will she fail miserably and lose herself in the process? That's what the Gods want to know. Disclaimer: I do not own the cover photo.Warning: If you are easily triggered, I am not writing this novel for you.
