Mo Xin looked at the room she was given. The room was simple and plain, but Mo Xin didn't expect for too much, this was already good for her. As she turned behind her, she saw Xi Yu, or who she bought was Xi Yu.

"Xi Yu?" Mo Xin called out, not sure if it was her.

Yu Xi turned around and looked at Mo Xin. With a smile on her face, she walked towards her.

"I have something to tell you. Let's go into the room first before I begin." Yu Xi said, holding onto Mo Xin's arm as she pulled her into the room.

As Yu Xi dragged Mo Xin in, she made her sit on the bed and Yu Xi followed by sitting beside her.

"Mo Xin, obviously, what I'm about to tell you is something that is very important. This is information that no one must find out about and I am telling you because I trust you. Mo Xin, I want to thank you for everything you have done for my brother." Yu Xi began....

"Brother?" Mo Xin tilted her head confused by her words.

"Xi Yu is my other identity, but that is only my other half of my soul. I've been trying to find a way to mend my soul so that Xi Yu and Yu Xi would become one. Right now, I am Yu Xi, and RuJin, or what you guys call him, the Dark Lord, is my brother. I was reincarnated with all my memories about my past life with him as my brother, well, half of me was. In that past life, the reason why RuJin became the Dark Lord was because of our mother and I. Back then, our village was stormed by these cultivators, and they killed everyone in that village, including my mother and I. The only reason as to why RuJin escaped was because my mother had told him to run away, but even then, he wasn't safe."

"If that incident hadn't have happened, the Dark Lord wouldn't exist. Of course, this is only my side of the story. My brother has much that he has never told anyone about, except someone that I know he must've. I found out many more stuff from other people, including how the Dark Lord was killed, or had sacrificed himself to bring down the destruction of many people. Those stuff, I only found out from what I've heard people say."

"In the past, my brother had someone by his side who he trusted. But in the end, that person decided to become a cultivator. I don't know how much you know about this, Mo Xin. But I know well that you don't blame my brother for everything that has happened. So thank you for that. I had done some work on finding out about the people my brother had killed, using my identity as a princess, and I had found out that all the people my brother killed in the past were people who had done a wrong deed. This was something that nobody else knows, and something that no one had ever thought about."

"What I want to say is thank you for still choosing to be by my brother, and well, your brother's side too. What I've told you is something that no one else knows about or what many people have try to deny. I trust you, Mo Xin. Because I can tell that you are truly different from everyone else." Yu Xi finished her words with a heavy sigh at the end. A boulder seemly being lifted from her.

Mo Xin thought deeply about what she was just told, everything making sense to her. So that was why everything had gone the way it had. She had always knew that something seemed wrong, but she was never able to figure it out.

Well, most importantly, just how much had Jin been suffering from all of this? Was it a lifetime that he had spent or from the moment he had changed?

It explained why he had changed then. Because he had regained the memories from his past life, and that was why he had changed. But if she didn't hate him then, why would she hate him now?

Mo Wan, her sister had changed.

Mo Wan had been the one to save Jin when he was on the brink of death, but in the end, the person who was still willing to save him was her now. Mo Xin still couldn't believe it.

Yu Xi and Xi Yu were the same person, just different memories. Mo Xin didn't struggle with that thought because it wasn't weird to her. She was use to many different things.

"So you are Jin's sister?" Mo Xin asked after thinking for a while.

Yu Xi smiled in return. "Well, I guess. In the past life, we were, which I guess could be carried onto this life, but you are also his sister too. After all, you two are blood related even though the memories are just different. Just know that you are still RuJin's sister, Mo Xin. After all, you have been there for him longer than I have so you must know more about him."

As those words were said, Mo Xin's expression changed. "Well, I knew him the most when he hadn't gotten his memories of being the Dark Lord back. I interacted with him much more when he had regained his memories, but I don't know if he still thinks the same about our relationship. After all, my family is now plotting to go against him."

"Don't worry. My brother, though he has become a little cold-faced, he doesn't treat those he knows too badly. He will always remember those who had helped him, including you. From his birth, you had cared for him, which I'm sure about. He will always remember what you had done for him. And also, that part of him, the one you knew before he regained his memories of our past life, that is still him." Yu Xi explained to Mo Xin. Of course, she could see that her brother had changed too, because she wasn't there to witness his change in their past life.

Mo Xin stayed silent in thought.

"If possible, could you tell me some things about his past life with you in it? You don't have to if you feel like I shouldn't know, but I would love to find out more about him." Mo Xin asked, her heart beating hard. This was almost like taking a risk for her.

"Of course I will. Just....Well, where should I begin?"
