Jay and Nya have just arrived at their destination. The two were at a restaurant with giant servings in front of them.
"Yeah, even when I was young, it was clear I was born and bred for adventure." Jay was saying.
"I was the first one to get my knot badge in 'Lil Scouts. I was always trying daring foods." He went on.
Nya nodded to show that she was listening.
Her bracelet was beeping and going red. She hid behind her serving to hide it.
"I once built these wings from scrap metal and other—uh, you okay? You seem kind of distant." Jay asked taking notice.
"Uh, yeah. It's just the portions are so big. And to think we split our dish!" Nya said.
"Heh. So that Samurai. Oh, man. I hate him, don't you? He's such a showboat, you know?" Jay said picking up a topic.
Nya made an annoyed face.
"If you ask me, he's nothing without his big, clunky exo-suit!" Jay said.
Nya got more annoyed as he went on.
"Oh." She said.
"Yeah. Nothing can compare to two good old-fashioned feet and fists, don't you think?" It was clear, Jay was a try hard.
"Yeah, sure!" Nya hesitantly agreed.
"You know, sssomebody once told me...!" Jay covered his mouth. He looked at his reflection in a spoon.
He had fangs and a long young now!
"You okay?" Nya asked.
"Excusse me. I have to use the resstroom." Jay rushed off.
Jay splashed some water in his face. He looked in the mirror. His skin was becoming greener by the second.
Jay took his glove off.
"Oh, gosh. I'm turning into a snake!" He exclaimed.
Someone knocked on the door.
"I'm busy, dude! Can't you see it's taken?!" Jay shouted.
"I can't go out there looking like this. This is the worst date ever!" Jay exclaimed.
Nya waited for Jay to come back out. Her bracelet was constantly beeping and glowing red. She began to worry.
Meanwhile in the horror house, a group if venomari attacked the passengers and scared them off the ride. Their spit made them see unclearly. The people were screaming in fear.
Outside, Kai, Morro, Zane and Cole were looking around.
"Where is everybody?" Kai asked.
Just then, people started to run out of the horror house.
"Wait a minute, that ride was never scary!" Cole said.
"Venomari." Zane concluded.
"Looks like we found our targets." Morro said.
"Should we get Jay?" Kai suggested.
"Let's not bother the two love birds. I think we can handle this." Cole said walking away.
"Excuse us! Coming through!" The ninja rushed thought the crowd of people.
Jay still hasn't come back yet, and Nya's bracelet indicated that the serpentine were here. Nya sighed.
"Sorry Jay. Duty calls." She said running off. She grabbed her bag and left the building.
"Huh, you don't look so bad. Just go out there and tell her the truth." Jay encouraged himself. Jay heard a rip.
"Ah! I have a tail!!" He yelled.
"No, no, it's okay, Jay. Lots of girls like tails." Jay tried to stay positive.
He excited the restroom and walked back to his table.
"She left? Nya?" The table was empty.

"S-s-s-SNAKE!!!!" A random person shouted and pointed at Jay. Everyone stopped in their tracks. The bystanders grabbed nearby objects and started to close in on Jay. They attacked him. It was pathetic, but they still attacked him.
"No! Stop!" Jay called out as more and more people joined.
"You don't understand!" Jay tries to reason with them.
Nya ran to an unpopulated area. Then she changed into her samurai x armor. She pressed a button on her bracelet and her mech came down to greet her. She hopped in ready to fight.
Pytbor was making Skales dig while the others just watched.
Eventually they herd metal click.
Pythor wiped off the dirt to reveal a glowing white blade in the shape of a snake fang.
"The first fangblade is ours!" Pythor raised it up.
Kai raised his sword and it ignited with flames. Cole raised his scythe, Zane pulled out his surrikens and Morro took out his staff.
"Not so fast!" Kai called out.
"Really? That's the best you got?" Cole asked in disappointment.
"Dude, that was weak." Morro said.
Cole shook his head.
"Well, I couldn't think of anything on the fly." Kai said.
"Well how about, time to burn! Or, or a... Or jump on this fire ride!!" Cole gave some alternatives.
"Well next time you lead." Kai gave attitude.
"Next time I will!" Cole said back
"Oh yeah? If you can catch up!"
"Oh, come on you gotta follow my lead!
"Guys we're, in a battle here." Morro reminded them.
"Oh."
The serpentine infront of them raised their weapons. The ninja ran at them, ready to attack.
"Watch and learn!" Zane said raising his shuriken. Morro got cautious.
"Oooohhh, no!" Morro quickly got away from the others. Zane had tried to use his new power but in doing so, he froze himself, Kai and Cole.
"Hahahaha! You need to Lear to control it first!" Morro laughed.
"Oops." Zane said.
The serpentine laughed as well.
"Oh right. You guys are here." Morro said turning around.
"Give me that fangblade and tell me where Lloyd is, now!"
Morro took out his staff and fought off some serpentine. He knocked around half of them down before he realized that the other half, including Pyhtor had left the vicinity.
"What?! Aaaarrrrggg! Come on!!"
Outside, the samurai landed in front of Pythor and magnetised the fangblade away from his hands.
"Stop him!" Pythor demanded.
The samurai was about to take off and leave when the rocked boosters broke down. Having no other option, the samurai ran away with a few serpentine chasing after.
The samurai then started to climb the structure of the rollercoaster, the serpentine not far behind. When the samurai got to the tracks, the grand red mech slid down the structure, and used the ferreis wheel to descend. It was an endless cycle of running and chasing until, a few consticrai dug up from under the ground and attacked the suit.
The cockpit opened with the pilot having nowhere to go. Pythor took back the fangblade.
"Finally, the mystery man is revealed!" Pythor pulled off the samurai helmet. The serpentine gasped.
"Or should I have said mystery girl? Who's gonna save you now, hmm?" Pythor said.

Jay was still being attacked by the people around him. He slowly crawled from the floor into the restroom. He them came out covering his face with the scarf he had on.
"Do not go in there. He bites! This is not dinner theater, people! It's real! Arm yourselves!" Jay ran outside. He looked back, and saw his tail growing larger.
"Nya?" Jay called out.
"Where is she?"
Jay saw the serpentine regrouping with the fangblade in Pythor's hand.
"Hey!" Jay called out and whipped out his nun-chucks. The serpentine spotted his tail from behind his back and laughed.
"Oh, what happened? Snake bite your tongue?" Pythor teased. Jay got irritated and started to run at them.
"Jay!" Jay heard a voice call out. He stopped and saw Nya chained down to a car on the rollercoaster.
"Help!" Nya cried out. Pythor signaled to another serpentine who pulled the lever and the car started to move.
"Later, alligator! Let's go, boys!" Pythor called out.
Jay hopped on the car to save Nya.
"What happened to you?!" Nya exclaimed.
"What happened to you?" Jay asked back. Looking up, Jay saw a ring at the edge of a broken track, what's worse, is that it was lit on fire!
"Unh, we have to get you out of here!" Jay said pulling on the chains.
Nya saw his tail.
"Were you bit? Take off your head scarf!" Nya demanded.
"I prefer not. I was meaning to tell you, but I didn't want it to ruin the date!" Jay said.
"Aww, that's so sweet!" Nya said struggling to escape.
"Hey, you were the first in your 'Lil Scouts group to get your knot badge, right?" Nya asked.
"Yeah, about that, I made that up just so I could impress you. I was never in 'Lil Scouts." Jay confessed.
"You weren't?" Nya asked. Then she glanced ahead.
"Hold on!"
"What, you have an idea?" Jay asked.
"No, hold on!"
The car was about to go down a drop. Jay hopped in the car beside Nya and held on for his life. The wind in his face blew off his scarf. Jay felt for the scarf. It was gone! Nya looked at Jay.
"Aah! Don't look at me! I'm a monster!" Jay covered his face with his hand.
"Though I hate the Samurai, where is he when you actually need him? Samurai! Help! Help! Samurai!" Jay called out. Nya looked away.
"Jay! I don't think the samurai is coming!" Nya said.
"Why?" Jay asked.
"I know this might not be the best time but, I haven't been totally honest either." Nya said.
"What is it?"
"I'm the samurai!" Nya confessed.
"Ack! You're the samurai?!" Jay called out in shock.
"Aah! We're running out of track!" Jay looked ahead.
"Jay, if anything horrible were to happen, I want you to know that you don't have to wear cologne or pretend to be anything that you're not. Because I like you best when you're you!" Nya kissed Jay in his cheek.
Jay had a blank stare on his face.
Did... Did she just kiss him?
Jay's skin slowly changed back to normal.
"Your face!" Nya said.
"You're returning back to normal!"
"It's just like you said! You must have raised my heart rate!" Jay said.
"Whatever happens next, just remember, you are the best you." Nya said.
Jay stood up. His nun-chucks began to charge up electricity. A blue aura surrounded him.
"What's happening?" Nya watched in awe.
"My full potential!" Jay said. A bright light flashed, and Jay was fully suited in his ninja gi. Nearing the edge of the track, Jay flashed in front of the car light lighting and hovered infront.
Jay then put his hands on the car to stop it from moving. He used all his strength to stop it.
"Heh, ha... Woo...!" Jay sighed as he laid on the car.
All the ninja met up outside the park.
"Where were you? Didn't Zane only freeze Kai, Cole and him?" Nya asked.
"Yeah, well, it turns out Kai is a terrible listener." Morro said.
"I was gonna go out and help you guys, the those three begged me to stay and give directions on bow to melt the ice. It took up all of the time to teach kai how to melt it." Morro said.
"Hey! We did not beg!" Kai said.
"From a standpoint, we did." Zane said.
"Anyways, Nya. You really had me fooled. I never guessed you were the samurai." Zane said.
"I wish I had a sister like you." Cole said. Nya smiled.
"Technically, I was the first to discover her secret!" Kai bragged.
"Technically, I found out first. During our battle." Morro smirked.
"You don't count! And didn't we agree whoever we thought was the best would naturally be the green ninja?" Kai said.
"Huh? The GREEN NINJA?! The destined ninja to defeat lord Garmadon?! Hah?" Kai shot up excitedly.
"Why would we say that?" Jay said.
"Yeah, I'm drawing a blank." Cole said.
"Nope! That conversation is not in my data base." Zane said.
"Really into that whole nindroid thing huh?" Morro crossed his arms.
Kai sighed.
"You know what I learned today?" Jay said.
"What's that?" Nya asked.
"No matter what kind of secret you have, whether you're a snake or a samurai, it's important to be yourself." Jay informed.
"Yeah, that's cute, but you wanna know what I learned?" Cole said.
"The Serpentine now have the first Fangblade."
"But we are getting stronger. One day, we will all reach our True Potential and Pythor will be stopped." Zane reassured.
"And we figured out all this without Sensei. Pretty good for five Ninja." Jay said. Nya took offence and punched Jay in the arm.
"And a samurai." Jay snickered.
"Wonder what sensei's doing now." Kai said.
"Good question." Morro added.
Wu and Garmadon had walked a long way. At this time, they had reached the base of a mountain with a blue light shining at the top.
"We're here. The Mountain of Madness." Garmadon said.
"The only way back to Ninjago is up there?" Wu asked.
"The worst is yet to come." Garmadon replied as he started to ascend the mountain. Wu followed.

Re: Dragonize
After an unexpected turn of events, Drew must now survive in a world full of challenges with life-or-death stakes. Gone are the days when the biggest problems to face were awkward small-talk at physics department luncheons or mountains of lab work; this former physicist is now adrift in an unfamiliar land without any equipment. Now, Drew's only tool (if it can be called that) is a System, which provides constant reminders of all of the things that are still out of reach for a low-level being who's just arrived in a new world. Luckily, Drew has one powerful asset when taking on the challenges of this new world: surviving violent conflict is a lot easier when you have the power of a dragon at your disposal. Still, Drew has always considered violence a last resort. Why turn to fists (or claws) when a bit of quiet consideration might expose a better path forward? Maybe a life of quiet contemplation is still within reach for this former academic researcher. ...Or maybe not. It probably won't be a life of bloodless pacifism. Additional information for those who wish to calibrate their expectations (I'm adding this based on a few comments I received from readers who feel that the story is not what they expected from a dragon-themed story): Re: Dragonize is not a power fantasy -- or at least, it's not intended to be one. Re: Dragonize is a progression fantasy starting with a protagonist who must start at the bottom (or close to it), and work gradually upwards, making incremental progress with plenty of setbacks along the way. The protagonist, as someone coming from the world of academia, tends to be cautious, methodical, and contemplative. As such, expect this story to contain more than a few digressions as the main character takes the time to pontificate on a variety of topics ranging from Newtonian physics and horology to the nature of existence and the ethical dilemmas associated with being an obligate carnivore.

Dungeon Crawler Katia
The aliens killed everyone on Earth...almost. Every structure, from the Taj Mahal to the lowliest lobster trap, vanished into the earth, killing everyone inside. The survivors were given a choice: Endure on the surface without food or shelter or tools, or descend into a world-spanning nightmare dungeon that is also a reality TV show. Katia, an art professor from Iceland who has given up her humanity to transform into a shapeshifting doppelganger, meets up with Carl and his cat, Donut. Together, the three fight to survive in a dungeon filled with Clarketech goblin murderdozers and pyramid-scheme fairy moonshine-makers. The above is, of course, describing Dungeon Crawler Carl. With DoctorHepa's (the author) permission I'm posting some fanfic to expand on Katia, one of the secondary characters who started off not getting as much exploration as I would have preferred. I started off writing chapters that matched up to canon except from her POV instead of Carl's; that lasted a couple of chapters before going off the rails and spinning off into a completely new story, which suggests I should really go back and renumber all the chapters as soon as I find some tuits.
