"it hurts"

loving you was the first time in my life i truly felt alive. you see, i was always lost. broken and in pain. i never understood the privilege of being loved. but my world changed when i met you. you opened up my eyes to the possibility of finally being enough. you set my soul on fire in a way i'd never known before and you held me like i was worth everything.
maybe i should've realized it was too good to be true. i got so lost in this feeling of finally holding the gift of love inside my hands that i didn't realize it wasn't enough.
i know now it hurts less to walk through life only ever knowing pain. i know now it hurts more to find that love and be forced to watch it slip away.

When I first woke up I knew only three things: My name is Reiza, I have a seed I need to care for, and a song. I was told that the forest I woke up in was mine and that I needed to take control of it and protect it. The only things standing in my way are nature itself, a bunch of strange floating boxes, and a group of crazy powerful creatures known as the forest queens. Sounds pretty simple right? It might be if it weren't for the fact that I have absolutely zero memory, but hey at least I know my name. Also apparently my enemies aren't only inside the forest. Forces from the outside got news that somthing was going down in my new home and are coming to crash my party. Can I claim this forest? Can I protect it? And most importantly can I figure out who I am and what's going on? I'm not sure but I'm going to try. Hey everyone I'm fairly new to writing novles and this is my first time ever putting my work on a site like this one. I hope you enjoy the story and would appreciate your feedback. I would ask that you read through at least a couple of chapters before leaving a rating. I know I have some trouble with grammer and how I structure some of my sentences and while feedback on that is appreciated what I would value most is feedback on the story as a whole in terms of how the plot works and if you are enjoying it or not. In the distant land of Hattan, 10-year-old Prince Beaumont remains in hiding awaiting the day he becomes a man to reclaim the crown stolen from his family. His father King Bohemond and his mother Queen Renata were killed by the usurper Rancine, who is the current ruler of his home in the Middle Islands. Beaumont left the Middle Islands as a baby and everything he knows of his home is from stories and books. All that changes when a stranger from the Middle Islands, a woman named Nasila, arrives to inform him that Rancince has learned of his location and he is no longer safe. In order to protect the home he has grown to love, Beau must travel out of Hattan and journey to the Middle Islands to seek safety among people loyal to his father that he has never met. He must put his trust in Nasila and a hired warrior named Gavin with questionable motivations. He is afraid and unprepared to take the crown, but at least his cousin Julius is with on this harrowing journey fraught with assassins, wild mythical beast, black magic, and demons. His cousin is the only person he can truly trust, but he must take a chance and put his life in the hands of others if he plans to survive. ***This is the first long-length writing I have ever undertaken, and I wish to get some critical feedback. I am not professionally trained as a writer but I have tried my best to teach myself and make the chapters as clean as possible. I believe I have reached a point where my limited skills cannot improve the work or make any more corrections. This is the story of two worlds called the upper world and the lower world. Both worlds have their own creatures and population of people which have their differences.The people in the lower world are called warlocks. They are a race of arrogant warriors and have horns coming out their heads and have big muscular body’s. The ones living in the upper world are a fully different race of disciplined and elegant people called sorcerers and have a slim body with pointy ears. They both have developed their own powers which are unique to their race. A sorcerer can’t use the powers of warlocks and vice versa. However they didn’t know of each others existences.After a very long time these two races eventually find out that their exists life on the planet which they could see very clearly in the sky. They start to communicate with each other and establish diplomatic relationships. However this would not last long…
