Jay's POV:

I walked out to the front of the monastery looking for Nya. I saw her training outside with Pixal so I went up to them.

"Hey Nya!" I said

"Hey Jay! What's up?" She said

"I just can to asked if you would be my valentine?" I said giving her a rose.

"Oh Jay! You don't have to do things like this anymore. I will be your valentine no matter what." She said still taking the rose

"I know. I just still like to do special things for you my love." I said as she kissed me on the cheek.

"Tonight at that new cafe that opened up?" She asked

"Sounds good. See you then." I said and I walked away.

Nya's POV:

Jay walked away and me and Pix got back to training. I was still holding the rose in my hand.

"What was that?" Pixal asked

"What was what?" I asked a little confused

"That. What just happened? With Jay?"

"Ohhhh!!! That. Today is Valentine's Day. Jay just was asking me to be his valentine."

"What's Valentine's Day?" She asked

"Don't you know? I thought it was all programmed into you?"

"Apparently not. Please do tell me." She said as we carried on training.

"Valentine's Day is just where couples go on dates and people who aren't couples can still ask the person they like to be their valentine." I explained.

Pixal's face went into a quizzical look.

"So what does someone who doesn't have a valentine do?" She asked

"They could just ignore the day, go on a girls night out or they could just watch films or something. I don't really notice the day when I didn't have a valentine." I said

I saw Pixal's face drop.

"What wrong?" I asked

"What if you like someone.... but they didn't like you back?"

"Well then you need to take a chance and ask them. Putting it off won't make it any easier." I said.

"And could the girl ask the boy to be her valentine?"

"It rarely happens. Usually the boy asks the girl to be his valentine. But if the two aren't dating then the girls practically never asked the boy to be her valentine."

"Oh.." Pixal's face fell again

"We're you thinking of asking someone?" I asked smirking

Pixal blushed a light shade of purple

"Wha- n-no I don't want ask anyone..... and even if I did I don't think he would accept......"

"You thinking about Zane?" I asked sweetly

She blushed deep purple. "Can we discus this in my room?" She asked. And we went to her room.

Jay's POV:

I walked back to the bounty where the others were.

"I got a valentine date." I said

"Good for you. We all have" Kai said

"Well all except Zane." Cole said

"How come you haven't asked Pixal yet?" I asked

"I'm.... not sure I should..." he said

"Why not?" Cole asked going to get some cake

"I..guess I don't really know how to ask her.." he said blushing slightly

"It's simple! All you have to do is walk up to her and ask her to be your valentine!" I said

"Like it's that easy!" Zane said sarcastically.

"Well you could leave her some notes?" Kai suggested

"Or a poem!" Chirped in Cole from the kitchen with his mouth full of cake

"Or a song?" I suggested

"I don't wana do any of that! I just want to ask her to be my valentine normally!" Zane complained

"And do tell how you will do that." I said

"I-Uhh.... I.... I don't know. I'll figure it out."

"Well you better hurry. Only 12 more hours left. And I have a date soon so I gotta go do my hair." Kai said gesturing the clock and then his hair.

"We could help you figure out how to ask her since our dates aren't for 5 more hours." I said with Cole

"Master Wu is still in the first realm trying to help the tribes squabble so we would have the whole monastery to ourselves since the girls are going out." Cole said

"But what if she says no? I would just embarrass myself." He said panicking

"We'll sort that out later." I said"now follow us" I said as we took Zane's arm and dragged him to the control room.

No POV:

The boys were all on their dates with their girlfriends so that just left Zane and Pixal in the monastery alone.

Pixal was in the living room looking for something to watch on Netflix when Zane came through with a batch of cookies he made for Valentine's Day.

"Cookie?" He asked as she took one of the heart shaped cookies.

"Thank you Zane." She said as Zane put the tray on the kitchen counter and got a cookie himself.

He walked back though to the living room and sat down on the sofa next to Pixal with his legs crossed.

They stayed quiet for a moment.Pixal finally chose something to watch and Zane finally decided to break the silence.

"What's this then?" He asked

"Death in paradise. It's pretty good." She said

The two droids watched the episode debating over who they thought the killer was.

"I think it may be Jade. Her flashback was very short and didn't show to much." Zane said

"Or mabye it's Ollie? I think he might know more than he let's on." Pixal said back.

When the episode was over Zane got up and headed to the kitchen to get a drink.

"Want anything?" He asked Pix

"Another one of those cookies would be great." She said. Zane nodded and went into the kitchen.While he was in there Pixal messaged the girls on what had happened so far and was asking for advise or something.

Pixal: girls please help! I don't know what to do!! I'm really confused and all I Have for comfort is a cookie!! 😩

Nya: wait what?

Skylor: what happened?

Pixal: nothing happened! I just don't know if he's friend zoning me, or if I'm friend zoning him! Or if we are friend zoning eachother?!? Plz help!!

Selial: did you say there r cookies there?!

Skylor: that's not important Selial!

Pixal: yes. Zane baked cookies and they r delicious!!😋

Nya: how many??

Pixal: 3 batches.

Selial: das 27 cookies!! 😋😋

Pixal: 24 now.

Skylor: y u change de subject!?

Nya: when Zane comes back just be a little sweeter.

Pixal: how?

Selial: sit closer to him?

Nya: compliment his cooking?

Skylor: pretend to be asleep.

Pixal: how would pretending to be asleep help?

Skylor: if you fall asleep with your head in his shoulder then he can't move and he will fall asleep on your head!

Nya: don't listen to Skylor.

Skylor: hey!

Selial: just be more flirty around him

Nya: but not to much

Skylor: and don't be too obvious.

Pixal: don't you guys have dates or something?

Nya: Jay is in the bathroom

Skylor: Kai is ordering food

Selial: Cole is eating cake.

Pixal: right.

Skylor: just act confident around him. A boy can't resist a strong girl.

Pixal: wait what?

Skylor: sorry Kai just came back. GTG

Nya: good luck Pix!

"Right. Okay." Pixal thought "I just need to play it cool and not embarrass myself for 3 hours. No problem!"

Zane's POV:

I went into the kitchen to get a drink when I saw my phone had lots of messages from the others. I texted back.

Kai: finally he notices his phone!

Zane: what?

Jay: we've been trying to get through to you to ask how's it's been.

Jay: how's it been?

Zane: I don't have time for this right now.

Zane: I don't want to take a long time getting a cookie and a glass of water!

Cole: cookie?

Kai: way to go Zane. You just set Cole off.

Cole: C-Cookie??

Zane: oh boy. What have I done....

Cole: COokIe!?!

Jay: GTG.

Kai: he just left us.

Zane: I need to get back to Pixal.

Kai: DONT LEAVE ME HERE WOTH COLE!!

I walked back through to the living room and gave Pixal her cookie. I sat down and we pressed play on the next episode.

"These cookies are amazing Zane!" She said and I blushed.

"Uh..thanks. I had to make extra so Cole wouldn't eat them all." I said and she giggled. That made me smile. I liked it when I could make her laugh.

Pixal's POV:

As we watched the episode I slowly inched towards Zane. When I was next to him I carefully placed my hand on his.

To my surprise he took my hand so I leaned onto his shoulder and he wrapped his arms around me.

I sighed peacefully and started to drift off to sleep.

When I woke up I saw that Zane had fallen asleep on my head. I then saw that there was a yellow blanket around us.

By this time Zane had woken up and I couldn't help but notice him blushing. We let go of each other and got up to look for the others.

We went into the kitchen where we were confronted by Cole.

"WhERe iS It zAne??" He asked

"What are you talking about?"

"YoU saId yUo maDE tHrEe bAtCheS anD i cOulD oNLy fInD tWo!!!"

"SO YOU ATE ALL THE COOKIES!!!" Lloyd said as he crashed through the door.

"I JUST FIXED THAT DOOR!!" Nya said as she put her head through the window

"I JUST SMASHED THAT WINDOW!!" Kai said as he stuck his head through the toilet, breaking it.

"WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!?!" I asked

"Hang on." Zane said as he ran up to his room.

He came back a minute later with a big bell and he hit it hard with a stick.

The others all covered their ears and when the noise stopped they started acting normal again.

"So umm... where is the last batch of cookies?" Cole asked and we all started laughing.
