《I Am, Lloyd Garmadon.》Chapter 10

Lloyd sat under a tree. His ankle was swollen and bruised. He knew his father would be sending skeletons to find him, he knew that he needed to get out of there, but he couldn't stand.
"You guys really think he's out here?" A familiar voice called
"Kai?" Lloyd questioned quietly "But his ankle is broken..."
"It depends, if Garmadon took him long enough ago, he could be in the Underworld by now." Another rang out
"Zane?" Lloyd mumbled
"That's why we sent Cole and Jay back to get our Dragons Zane. Duh." Kai replied "Just look around, if you find him, come find me..."
"Kai, your ankle-"
"Is broken. I know."
"Kai! Zane!" Lloyd exclaimed
"Lloyd!!" Kai yelled. Lloyd waited a second, before seeing Kai limp around a tree. "Lloyd! Thank the First Spinjitzu Master!"
Zane rushed to follow Kai. "Lloyd. You broke your ankle."
"No. Me jumping out of a helicopter did."
"You did WhAt!?" Kai yelled
"I jumped out of a helicopter."
"Let's just get you back to the bounty." Zane sighed as Jay and Cole landed their dragons not far off
"Gee Lloyd, your ankle is-"
"Broken. I know." Lloyd mumbled as Cole picked him up. A week or so ago, he would've screamed, and yelled about being picked up by anyone. But now? He was just happy that he was going home, and that it wasn't his father or Garmadon's minions that was picking him up. Lloyd felt safer then he ever had anywhere else, and once Cole's dragon was airborne, Lloyd fell asleep
--------
Cole carried Lloyd back onto the Bounty. "Is Lloyd oka- His ankle is so swelled up! What he do!?" Nya exclaimed
"He jumped, out of a helicopter." Cole said plainly

"Okay then..." Nya took Lloyd and carried him towards the bridge. "I'll get it bandaged up and in a cast." She smiled as she left
"Is Lloyd gonna be okay?" Kai asked as he limped over to Cole
"Yeah, he'll be fine. Zane says it's a miracle he only broke his ankle, it could've been a lot worse." Cole replied
"Thank the First Spinjitzu Master." Kai sighed
"Kai." Nya called from the bridge "Lloyd wants to see you."
"How am I gonna get up the stairs?"
"HOP!" Lloyd yelled
Kai laughed, but then realized, Lloyd was serious. "Okay. On my way." Kai glared at Jay "Put that phone away I know you're on camera!"
----
After twenty minutes of Kai hopping up a flight of stairs, and nearly falling a few times, Kai limped into the Bridge. "Hey Kid, how's your ankle?"
"It hurts."
"I know right?" Kai joked making Lloyd smile. "So, what'd you need Shortie?"
"You're ankle is broken, how do I scratch an itch if it's under my cast?" Lloyd asked pointing at the cast on his leg
"You don't. But hey, you'll survive."
"It's reeeeeeaaaally itchy..."
"You'll be fine." Kai smiled "Hey, let's go play videogames!"
"I'll just beat you at Mario Kart."
"No way, no one beats me at my game."
"Until now! Let's go!" Lloyd smiled as he stood on one leg and hopped towards the door
"Careful! The stairs!"
"Yeah I know!"

The Lady's Handbook of Intrigue and Murder (High Fantasy Politics)
Summary:The daughter of a dying house is summoned to the Imperial City to meet and perhaps marry a handsome prince. It sounds like a fairy tale. Except Mydea doesn’t have the advantage of a half-forgotten childhood encounter, supreme magic to match the highest echelons of society, or even the privilege of an ally. In order to survive and make a name for herself, she must beat the Imperial Court at its own game. At least no one's tried to kill her—yet. Notes: Basically, if you liked the magic of Harry Potter and the politics of Game of Thrones, you'll probably like this. While the first book focuses on the female lead, and the interplay of competing regional and imperial interests, subsequent books will also cover warfare and how I imagine that differs wildly from historical norms with the introductions of a magical aristocracy.
