《Jade Garmadon: Lloyd Garmadons little brother》Chapter 3~ Save me

No pov:
A couple months have passed. Lloyd had stopped more crime with his team, and had actually bumped into Jade a couple of times. But everytime Jade would talk to Lloyd, Jades father would inturupt and drag Jade away. Once Jade and his father got home, Jade would have to deal with his dad abusive punishments, and his parents would always yell at each other afterwards. Jade began to think this is how his life will forever be like...
...until today.
The gang and I were taking a day off and hanging out in the park. Cole and Kai were throwing around a football, while Jay and I were laying back on a picnic blanket. Zane was setting out some snacks for later. Using my elbows as support to hold me up a bit, I watched Jay play video games on his phone.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a football coming straight at us. I jumped up, and grabbed it.
"Try to be a bit more careful guys." I chuckles and spun the football on my finger, then tosses it to Cole.
"Sorry about that, I guess my super throw was a bit too super." Cole snickered.
"Whatever, just don't try to hit us again." I rolled my eyes playfully, but I noticed Kai was looking at something. I glanced over, and I couldn't believe my eyes.
Jades pov:
My dad shoved me straight into a tree. My back hurt, and the gash on my arm became worse. I cried in pain, it all hurts so badly. I looked up and saw my dad approaching me quickly. As I brased myself for my dad's mighty punch, my dad was grabbed and thrown to the ground.
Lloyds friends made sure my dad wouldn't get anywheres near me, as Lloyd picked me up.

"You okay, Jade?" Lloyd asked as he moved some of my hair out of my face. I shook my head no and kept crying.
"Cole, call the authorities! This man is not getting away with child abuse, and as of you Jade, your gonna come home with me, okay?" Lloyd said. I smiled a bit and nodded.
"I-id like that. Thank you Lloyd." I whimpered and hugged him.
"Anytime, buddy. Your gonna be safe from now on." He whispered in my ear. "Come on, let's take you to my home. Zane, I'm gonna need your help, he has a bad cut on his arm."
Just then, Lloyd made a dragon appear and he hopped onto it, still holding me in his arms. Zane got onto his own dragon as well.
"Kai, Cole, and Jay. Stay here till that man gets taken away by the police. Don't let him out of your sight." Lloyd demanded, as we flew off.

We landed ontop of a floating piece of land, with a huge monistary on it. Lloyd carried me inside, and upstairs to what I'm assuming is his room, and gently laid me down on his bed. Zane scanned my arm with the gash on it, and frowned. He whispered something in Lloyds ear, and Lloyds eyes widen.
"What is it?" I asked, confused.
"Jade...your arm has a pretty bad cut, and it's going to need a few stitches in it." Lloyd calmly explained.
"W-what??!!" I yelped and scooted back on his bed.
"Don't worry. You're going to be okay. I have a trick, that is going to help you not feel a thing."
"What is it?" And just like that, Lloyd gently pressed a pressure point on my neck, and made me lay back, and pass out.

I couldn't describe what I was feeling right now. I was angry, sad, and slightly confused. I wish I knew about his abusive father sooner.
Zane quickly sewed up Jade's wound and we both left the room once he was finished.
"I'm going to go prepare some food and apple juice for when he wakes up." Zane told me as he walked to the kitchen. I nodded and went off to go find my mom and uncle.
"Mom? Uncle Wu?" I asked as I entered the room.
"Yes nephew? What is it?" Uncle asked as he looked up from his meditation.
"Um..well.. there was a little boy, named Jade.." Once I said his name, my mother looked up from her book and at me. "His father was hurting him, and so the team has the man in jail probably by now, and Zane and I brought him back here-"
"Can I see him please?" My mom asked as she cut me off.
"Yeah...his in my room, resting." I answered and I lead my mom and uncle to my room.
They looked right at Jade, who was still passed out on my bed. My mom backed away and shook her head.
"Is everything okay mom?" I asked with a whisper.
"Lloyd...there is something I have to tell you." My mom dropped her head slightly. "Its about Jade."
