Y/N's P.O.V
Christmas, the happiest, most cheerful time of the year.
But also very stressful. I sat in my room, presents scattered around as I attempted to get them wrapped. I had bought a bunch of gifts, but also I made quite a few giving how crafty I was. I had gotten only one or two presets per person, trying my best to stay minimal despite being a gift giver - I loved to see peoples reactions. The two Kwami's were currently making bows. Longg was doing great, Growll was struggling and even got stuck at one point. But the one person I had been struggling to get something was Lloyd. Truthfully, I didnt know what to get him. I had to think of something fast because today was the last day stores were open and even at that they closed early for the holiday. I was panicking to say the least, what was to much and what wasn't enough? We haven't been dating for a while, so there go's a few typical couples gifts. But I also didn't want to get him something simple. I needed something in between.
"Y/N, he will love anything you give him. No need to stress about it." Longg said, coming to hover by my face as I stared at the presents in front of me.
"I refuse to settle for anything less. I wanna make it special." I huffed, crossing my arms in a pout.
"What about something guys like. For example a watch, ring, necklace, shoes. I'm trying to give you options here." Growll said, his tiny foot stuck on a string. Longg shook her head and zoomed over to help the small wolf.
"I watch isn't a bad idea. Neither is a necklace." I hummed. "Maybe I should call Nya and ask her opinion since she's known him for a while."
"You do realize that the boys would probably know what he likes better, right?" Growll said, now trying to bite the strings.
"I am not risking getting made fun of. Besides Nya's a girl, she's have more feeling and thoughts about the ideas. Thr boys just shrug when I had asked them anything about Lloyd." I pointed out. "Growll, would you stop moving. It's only making your situation worse."
"Get this thing off of me!" He complained. I sighed at his actions, coming over and cutting the string and setting him free.
The rest of the hour I had was spent writing notes in cards and wrapping presents. I placed them neatly under the small fake tree we had set up in my room. I would later bring them downstairs to the main room with the actual tree we had, but for now that was fine. Besides, I had one last gift to find.
🐲🖤🐲
"I don't know why you are still stressing over this." Nya sighed, burnt out after spending about 2 hours walking around to look in jewelry shops.
"I was already wanting to get Lloyd something nice, but I don't think any of these are the ones I'm looking for. And they're all so expensive." I huffed, pushing the door open to the last shop I was willing to look at. Then I really was screwed.
It was an older looking shop. Granted Paris was definitely historic with beautiful architecture, but this stores vibe was different. The store was empty despite the open sign up front. It wasn't just jewelry, but also alot of older antiques.
"Y/N, some of this stuff looks older than Ninjago. I don't think this is what you're looking for." Nya joked. But something held me here. I continued to wonder the store, ignoring the obvious bored signs of the water bender behind me.

"Its interesting?" I said, walking up to a weird looking gold amulet with a wave on it.
"This store gives me the creeps." Nya said, shoving her face into her scarf. Very Jay like of her.
"Nya, the back of this thing has your symbol on it." I whispered, now looking at the carving of the Water Masters symbol in the gold.
"What? That's impossible." She said reaching for it. A loud ringing sound rippled through the air as a teal glow happens and Nya fell back. Gasping, I quickly got to her side helping her up.
"I don't think we should be in here." I mumbled.
"Careful there, Master of Water. That is not something you are not ready for yet." A voice said from behind us. It was an old women. "My name is Mystake. Would you like some tea?"
"I think we should be going." I said pulling Nya behind me.
"No need to be so hostile Miss Y/N. I am only trying to help the soulmate of the Green Ninja." She smirked. "You should come back and see some old relics I have from the first ever battle between good and evil. Perhaps Lloyd would appreciate an old family heirloom for a gift."
My gut was screaming to run away. Every hair on my body was stood up and my mind was racing.
"I dont think we have any business here." I said, slowly backing away.
"Maybe you do, maybe you don't. Don't you think its a little to coincidental you ended up at this store in particular? Your Miraculous is strong. Your ability with Dragons is something you surely need training with. I'm sure you've wondered why your parents sent you to Ninjago of all places when they did."
I stayed silent. I knew better than to stay here, but something told me to stay and listen to this women.
"What is it you want with us?" Nya said taking notice of my hesitation.
"Theres is nothing I want from you. But is there something you want from me?" She turned around and started walking towards the counter. I glanced at Nya who gave a small nod.
"How do you know-" I started.
"I know a lot more than I say. I'm just as old and both Master Wu and Master Fu. I believe you both are old enough to know the truth. Both Fu and Wu are fools not to let you know the wisdom of your past." She said, pouring some tea into three cups. "It depends on what you want to know. The questions you have. I know both of you have them."
"Why does my Miraculous mirror their powers?" I started, getting the first question I had off my chest.
"Ah, yes. You can control Ice, Water, Fire, Earth, and Lightning. Same as your friends. The answer to this is simple. The Green Ninja has been prophesied for centuries. Once Wu realized the powers the Green Ninja would possess, he knew he needed an equalizer to aid him for the battle that would be worse than Garmadon could bring. So he contacted Master Fu, the Miraculous guardian, to help him. The decided to create a Miraculous that contained those powers so that one day, there was someone who he could be equal with. The Elemental Masters who contained those Elemental powers at the time agreed to it, knowing that if the Green Ninja was to ever become evil, there was a equal force needed that had the potential to beat him. So, using the Mother Box for the Miraculous, and the current holder of the Ladybug Miraculous - who possess the power of creation - and the Elemental Masters that mirror yours they had gathered together in Ninjago to create the Dragon Miraculous. They went to a Sacred Temple and used all their power to create it, and Longg was born with the bonded Miraculous of Dragons."

"So the Dragon Miraculous was actually created in Ninjago using their ancestors powers, whoever was the Ladybug Miraculous Holders powers, the Mother Box, and a Temple somewhere in Ninjago?" I asked, trying to summarize what I had heard.
"Correct." She answered, sipping her tea. "Lloyd's mother is Lady Iron Dragon, who had fought to help M/N when she realized what the Dragon Miraculous was for. However, KoKo has kept knowing about the Ninja a secret to protect the way you were trained." She said, gesturing to Nya.
"So it's not a coincidence that I happen to be dating the Green Ninja, while having this Miraculous?"
"Destiny will show its self in many ways. There were endless possibilities you and Lloyd would get together."
"So, is everything in this store something related to Ninjago?" Nya asked, looking around the store.
"Yes, there is a reason you two walked in here."
"But what if someone else came in instead?" I asked.
"They would not see what you see now."
"So you have magic too?" Nya asked.
"Child, I have powers beyond your understanding. Do you really think your Elements are the only ones to exist in a human?" She said, raising a brow at Nya.
"There are others with Elemental Powers?" Nya exclaimed, shock flooding her face. I wasn't to far behind her.
"Yes. There are quite a few here in Paris who kept an eye on Y/N. They are scattered throughout the world, all but one live in this realm - that we know of."
"I'm sorry, realm?" I questioned. What the fuck was going on.
"Do you really think this is the only place that exists?"
"I mean, yeah. It hard to think other wise." I snipped back, growing impatient at her hidden meanings.
"Anyway, it's growing dark. You must get back to your home with your family. What is it you were looking for to give Lloyd?"
"Anything that is Lloyd's or his family's I would suggest giving to me." I said glaring at the lady.
"Now now, let's not get hasty. I have these items because I was entrusted with them. I am doing you a favor by giving them to you free of charge. I was told to wait but I belive the young Garmadon is ready to know more about him self too."
"Y/N, just tell her and we can hurry up." Nya nudged. I knew she wasn't willing to let this go either, but we had to make it out alive before we could warn the others. This would probably lead to questions too, like that I actually knew their identity.
"A necklace or a watch was my plan." I shrugged.
"Ah, something simple yet something of value. Let me me see." She started going through a box under the counter she was behind. "Here! This is a watch that was the First Spinjitzu Masters, he's Lloyd's Grandfather." She said, handing over a watch with a slightly aged leather band with all gold detailing. I rubbed my thumb over the glass on the face of the watch, examining it. It was it great condition, leather can be difficult to keep properly clean so it wasn't that big of a bother with the band. I turned it over and saw something etched on the back.
"The March of the Dragons." I read, reading the engraving. "What does it mean."
"I'm not sure. I was a friend of Wu's not his father. I have one other thing here. A small gold chain with a golden dragon charm on it, it is rumored to have been the original design of your Miraculous before they actually created it." She said, handing me that as well. "Now, you best be on your way, I have things I need to do. Here is the boxes for them." She rushed, handing them to me before grabbing me and Nya by our arms and kicking us out. I looked down at the necklace and realized it was basically a replica of mine.
"I don't like what just happened." Nya said, watching as the lights went out in the shop.
"I have a feeling that was the start of a very large rabbit whole we are getting stuck in."
🐲🖤🐲
The second we stepped back into the house we were great with family. For a small moment I was filled with relief with what happened. But that's how hugs with Lloyd usually went. Realization hit me with a brick once I realized what I had in my pocket. I excused my self and went up to my room to hid the two relics in my nightstand.
"What are you going to do?" Nya whispered, coming up to my bed.
"Right now, I have no idea. The Kwami's went to the Mother Box for a meeting. I have no idea when they will return. They're my only hope right now. I have no idea where Master Fu is either. If I can even trust him." I sighed. "My head is throbbing."
"We have to tell the others sooner rather than later. Something like this is not safe to keep." Nya informed.
"Yes, I know that. But if that lady is correct, all of our parents down there are in on some kind of secret. My parents sent me to Ninjago for some reason out of the blue, they obviously know something. KoKo is the one who took me in. And y'alls parents are former Elemental Masters."
"Don't mention that." She grunted. "I can't believe they hid that there are others out there that have Elemental powers too."
"How do we even approach this situation?" I questioned.
"I'm open to suggestions because I'm drawing a blank." She sighed. "I've never felt so empty before. It's like everything has been sucked out of me."
"Considering thats the presents I have for Lloyd I'll still give them to him. We really have no way of knowing if they're authentic or not. But we should get the boys alone and then slowly drop the news." I suggested. "I don't really want to ruin Christmas this way."
"I think it's for the best. But right now we need to head downstairs and make it look like everything's fine. Last thing we need is to raise suspicion." I nodded and head down to the main room.
"Girls, where are your Christmas pajamas?" My mom frowned.
"Our what?" I questioned, raising my brow.
"We talked about it last night at dinner. They're on your desk. Put them on, we are going to make cookies, gingerbread houses, and hot chocolate bombs while listening to Christmas music. Then we can watch Christmas movies." My mom smiled. I felt a sting of guilt rise in my chest. I looked around and noticed that everyone was in Christmas Pajamas. Lloyd sent me a worried glance as he noticed my expression change.
"Right, at dinner. Um, yeah okay. Me and Nya will get changed then we can get started on the activities." I said, walking back up the stairs to my room. Once we were up I noticed the pajamas sitting on my desk.
"This is painful." Nya groaned. I didnt know which thing she was talking about. The pajamas and Christmas activities or the very noticeable tension in the air when we got down there.
"I don't know if this is a good idea, pretending everything is fine?" I sighed. "I'm going to see if I can meet Ladybug tonight."
"Okay, just get changed for now. We have to do our best. Remember, they're aren't our enemies. And my team isn't either. I was just as much in the dark about this until a few hours ago." I nodded at her. She changed a lot quicker than I did and had already gone back down. I was in the middle of tugging the shirt down when I heard footsteps coming up.
"You doing alright?" Lloyd questioned, coming up behind me. I turned to face him, giving him a small smile.
"Yeah. Just having a weird day I guess. Not something I have the words for exactly." He offered a supportive smile at my answer.
"Is there anything I can do to make it better?" He asked.
"No. But you being here always makes things better." He let out a chuckle, gently cupping my face and bringing me into a sweet kiss.
The guilt didn't go away. Instead it continued with even more questions. Was the only reason I fell in love with him because we are soulmates? Was our relationship even real? Did we actually have feelings for each other or is this what destiny decided we would feel like?
What did Mystake mean when she said if the Green Ninja became evil? Did I have to fight Lloyd?
Lloyd pulled away when he realized I was not putting as much into the kiss as he was. Even if it was just a simple, sweet, gentle kiss, I wasn't giving any emotion. And it felt awful knowing I couldn't at the moment.
"Y/N, are you sure you're alright?" He asked again, with a serious face.
"Its not important-"
"Its important to me if it means there's something wrong. I care for you, I'm not going to let you bottle up emotions that are clearly effecting you."
"I'm fine Lloyd. Please, can we go downstairs and just be with the others. I don't want to ruin anyone's Christmas because of my feelings." He let out a defeated sigh, closing his eyes. He shook his head and turned away.
"Fine. Let's go enjoy out family. But I'm here for you, please tell me you know that."
"I know, and I'm thankful for it." I smiled. He gave me a small nod before heading down stairs to the group of laughing people. I looked up to my bed one more time before heading down, putting on the best fake smile I could.
🐲🖤🐲
"You wanted to meet?" Ladybug said, coming up behind me while I stood at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
"I've got some pretty disturbing news I found out today." I said looking down at my hands, transformed as Dragonne. "I'm going to need your full trust with this information. Nothing leaves us."
"Of course." She said, standing beside me while we both kept our eyes on the city below.
"How much do you know of the Mother Box and the Green Ninja?"

Contact Through Voided Lenses
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Edit: Fixed some inaccuracies in the synopsis. The void is a vast unexplored ocean filled with various wonders and dangers all waiting to be explored by those brave enough to travel and record. Many souls do find themselves brave enough to face the vast distances, the various risks to personal safety and do the hundreds of task required on a craft. However, at times the void itself can be boring with absolutely nothing to do but as time pass and more and better technology is reached, things got better. The various trips got faster, communications became faster than light and you can be home to see your loved ones after only months now. Through the various planets whether rocky or gaseous, the various stars whether small or giant, the various systems both eerily similar or completely alien. As part of an expeditionary scientific exploratory survey craft, one could see that the void offers no reprieve from all the discoveries and wonders. At times, it can feel empty and silent where no soul can hear you scream and at others it can be overwhelming with sudden phenomenon that can overwhelm the brightest of minds. The void itself is a truly fascinating ocean where one must chart the various islands or drown in its deadly tidal waves. But the question still remained no matter how you try to hide it in of itself… is there truly other intelligent life out there? Are we alone in this ocean? Those very questions still haunt the minds of those on the crafts themselves as they brace for every jump ready for the unknown and the known. Many would try to explain that yes there is other intelligent life out there whilst other still say no after 2 centuries of continuous flight out of the home system. Still, those are questions that bury deep in the minds of the crew and those at home as the voidcraft jumps to a system with a single yellow star orbited by 8 other planets with one crowning blue jewel being the 3rd closest with its 5 oceans and 7 continents, a planet called Dirt which is inhabited by a primitive species called Humanity. Hello, author here and this is my newest dive into writing particularly for the Writathon currently in progress being my first one. I hope you give me story a try but in case you still want more information on what you’re getting into, below are some pointers about the story itself. First Contact: CTVL is a story about a first contact scenario between an advanced alien civilization and a slightly more advanced modern day humanity on their planet called Dirt. Characters: The story will take place mainly on the perspective of the alien visitors themselves though there will be human POV characters who will show how the rest of humanity react through media and forums. Action: It won’t be an actual alien invasion but you have to see for yourself how well first contact went. Sci-Fi: I will be very forward here, I WILL bend the rules of physics in order to add in parts of the plot and there WILL be parts that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Theme: It will be a brooding story talking about the futility of pe… Just kidding, it’s mostly wholesome stuff to be honest here. Alien: The aliens themselves will… actually why should I tell you, you have to go and read it to find out what the aliens are though I will draw a few things here and there to aid in the process. Extra tidbit: If you are a grammar nazi or someone who really wants a realistic scifi story... this story is probably not for you at all. Anyways, that’s pretty much all I can say before I spoil something major of the plot itself, the story is slice of life so make sure that type of story is what you like because I am terrible with anything else as I found out, anyways, have a good time everyone and good luck to the other Writathon participants.

Dog Days in a Leashed World
Life is not easy at the bottom of the food chain. And in the Kingdoms of Magica, the absolute bottom belongs without question to the puppy-like lowbie zone trash known as mongrels. Born to an unfinished zone with only bored, murderous outpost guards for neighbors, the lives of these fluffy balls of hapless nuisance are short, dull, and deeply confused. Because after all: What's the point of a mob that no one can be bothered to hunt, in a zone utterly lacking in reasons to visit, in a game that was already the height of trash fantasy nonsense? Well it may not be much, but it's their life, dammit. And if Shh, the mongrel bearing the questionable distinction of smartest pup in his pack, has anything to say about it, they won't be on the bottom forever. Because that's the silver lining of being on the bottom: the only way left to go is up.
