Tori's POV
÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷÷
After my packing I headed downstairs with my suitcase. Dad was outside loading the car. I walked towards him and handed him my suitcase. He grabbed it and put it in the car.
I started to walk back to the house but my dad stopped me.
"Tori I'm sorry kiddo, I really am." He told me.
I turned to face him, "Dad your really nice and all, but you just can't say no."
"He's my boss Tori I can't exactly say no to him," Dad rubbed his face, "And I hate him as much as you do. Remember? I'm the one that made up Cheif Devil."
I cracked a smile, "And I accidentally called him that when you invited him to dinner."
My dad chuckled, "So I had to say that you were still learning how to pronounce things correctly."
We both laughed at the memory.
"We used to have so much fun when we hung out," I told my dad.
He nodded, "And we still can."
I shrugged, "I guess."
"Come on don't tell me you didn't have fun yesterday?" Dad raised and eyebrow.
I chuckled, "Yeah. I guess so."
Dad walked over to me and whispered in my ear, "And the guys had fun too. They just don't want to admit it."
He walked off towards the house, leaving me standing there like an idiot.
I walked back to the house sitting on the porch rocking chair and I slightly rocked back and fourth. After a couple minutes Lilly walked out the front door. She slightly jumped up when she saw me.
"God Tori you scared me," She said.
I chuckled, "Sorry I didn't mean too. I'm just kinda....relaxing."
Lilly smiled, "Can I join you?"
I waved my hand to the chair next to me and Lilly sat down. We didn't talk at first, I was thinking and she seemd to be thinking of something else too. So the first couple of minutes went by in silence.
"So Tori did you like the lake house?" Lilly finally asked.

I smiled, "Yeah it was fun. Which reminds me, sorry for squirting you with the water yesterday."
She laughed, "I don't really think your sorry."
"No, actually I'm not. I just thought I should say I am," I looked over at her and she started to laugh.
Her laughter finally subsided and her face turned serious, "Tori listen if the guys ever give you a hard time. Just tell me."
She locked eyes with me, and she really did look worried. Lilly looked like.....well like she was worried for a daughter. It really seemed like she considered me as her own. There was no way though that I would tell her if they were giving me trouble. I'm no snitch, I never was and I don't plan to be.
Lilly seemed to read my mind, "I know that's not like you. You always try to deal with your own problems, but Tori if they really go to far you tell me ok?"
I nodded, "I will. Thanks Lilly."
That was a lie. But Lilly smiled and patted my knee. She layed back in her chair.
"You know Tori, you can call me mom."
I sighed. No I couldn't call Lilly mom, she isn't my mom and she never will be.
"I'm not ready for that Lilly, I'm sorry." I looked down at my hands, twirling my finger around.
Lilly smiled, "Ok. Thanks for being honest Tori."
She gave me a sweet smile and I returned it. A couple minutes passed by and then my dad walked through the door.
"You guys ready?" He asked us, grabbing Lilly's hand.
We both nodded and got up. The guys and Suzie walked out with their suitcases and hauled them to the cars.
"Ok lets go," Lilly said.
I walked towards my dad's car but he stopped me and pointed at Blake's. I let a frustrated sigh and walked to Blake's car. The guys were setting their suitcases in the back so I took the advantage and took shotgun. When they were done they walked over and Blake got in the drivers seat.

"Aw hell naw," he said as he looked at me, "Your not taking shot gun bitch so go to the back."
"Says who?" I said back.
"Get out of my seat," Shawn said through clenched teeth, opening my door.
I crossed my arms, "No." I said stubbornly.
"Get. Out. Of. My. Seat." Shawn repeated, his fists clenching.
"I don't want to, so what are you going to do about it?" I glared back at him.
Shawn unclenched his fist, taking a deep breath. He moved to the back with Cole. I smiled in victory.
"Bitch," I heard Blake mutter.
Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to take shot gun. Whatever. I looked out the window. Dad already locked the doors to the house and he made his way to his car. I looked in the rearview mirror and saw Cole staring into his wallet. His face seemed confused, he had his eyebrows scrunched up like he was concentrating. Shawn looked outraged but he just stared out the window as we started to move. I looked over at Blake, he seemed ticked too.
"Does it really bother you that much?" I asked confusion written across my face.
"Actually it does, I don't like having bitches sitting in the front." He argued back.
I nodded and kept looking out the window, "I have the feeling I'm not the first one."
"What's that suppose to mean?" Blake said through clenched teeth.
"Oh I think you know all to well," I said with a small laugh.
"If you were a guy...." Shawn left it hanging so I filled it in.
"If I were a guy we would either get along or you would beat me up everyday, right?" I said smirking.
The guys didn't reply but I knew that's what would possibly happen. I layed back in the chair and watched the trees that passed by.
"Blake," Cole said, "Stop at the next Starbucks, I need some coffee."
"You and me both brother," Blake said. He turned at the next Starbucks and ordered some coffee.
"Hey get me a vanilla Frapaccino," I said. Blake glared at me but ordered me what in wanted.
We all drank our coffee or in my case my ice cream icee. Or at least thats what me and Suzie called it.
"You owe me three seventy-nine." Blake muttered.
I turned to face him, "Really?" I said half laughing.
He didn't say anything else but the anger was clear in his face.
"Whatever you say Sir Blake," I muttered.
The car ride went by silently, in the middle of the ride Blake decided to turn on the radio so we listened to that. But finally we reached home, we all unloaded the car and walked in our house. We all went and set our stuff in our rooms. I headed back down after putting my suitcase and camping backpack in my closet.
Suzie, dad, and Lilly were all sitting around the dinning table. I walked towards them and reliezed they were playing Uno.
"Wanna play?" Dad asked shuffling the cards.
I shrugged and sat down, "Sure."
My dad passed the cards around and we heard footsteps upstairs, but ignored them. My heart was beating a thousand miles and hour. I could feel sweat building up on my forehead. How much longer? Ughh this was torture.
I looked down at my cards and we started playing. Half of me was playing the other half was freaking out. How much longer!? I mentally yelled in my mind. Come on how long can it take?
"Uno!" Suzie yelled.
What!? Already! Come on Tori, just play the game they'll see it eventually. But how much longer!
That's when it happened.
"HOLY SH-" Blake yelled stopping in the middle of the sentence.
We heard more running upstairs.
We heard the guys all yell. And I smiled but quickly made it disappear. I looked at my cards and placed one in the pile.
"Uno," I said calmly.

This must be in the hidden gems collection " -3ndlesslove"This was, by far, the best one I've read. It just resonated with me when it came to Noah's POV. It wasn't something that just magically came together. It took time and effort for them to get to where they are, and I respect that. It taught me more about how to look at things so thanks a lot for making this book. I meant a lot to me. I will definitely read the sequel and your other books" - Generik_Jay
