Left at the nearest orphanage when she was 10, Olivia Ann was 13 before anyone showed any real interest in adopting her.
Slightly antisocial and insecure, Olivia Ann didn't think anyone would want her, she was 13 after all. Plus, she wasn't always the best in social situations. Sure, she was good with the younger kids when they needed help with homework or if someone was being overly emotional, but that was about it. She didn't really do social, especially not after her parents left her at the nearest orphanage, three towns over from the one she grew up in. She didn't think anyone would really want her.
She was wrong.
James Martin, a cultural advisor for international tours wanted her. He was looking to help orphaned kids like he himself used to be from his hometown. Right before he was set to go on tour too. But that didn't matter, because he wanted her.
James Martin wanted to adopt Olivia Ann.
He couldn't have done it at a better time, either. He just so happened to have adopted her three weeks before he was set to tour the world with the infamous bands My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy on their joint international summer tour.
