He stares at me then looks down at his hands.
"Landon. What the hell happen to your face!?" I say in a kinda loud voice but then that sent pain through my body.
I bit my lip but he didn't see me do it so I was good.
"Ummm...wekindagotintoafightoveryou." He mumbled.
"What?" I say but my tongue starts to turn heavy. I swallow but it's starts to turn hard to do so. I blink of couple of times but I look down and my hand and see it start to curl up.
"We kinda got-"
"Landon." I whisper.
My whole body starts to shut down and my hand curls up to my chest and I can't move but I'm shaking. I see him look up and jumps up right away. The last thing I see is him yelling at the door and that's when my eyes roll back.

"We kinda got-"
She cuts me off by saying my name,"Landon." But it was more like a whisper.
I bring my eyes up, away from my hands and that's when I start to freak out.
Her body is shaking and her hand looks like its broken but curling up to her chest. I jump up and start to yell for someone to help her.
"HELP!! I NEED HELP!!! SOMEONE HELP ME!!"I yell on the top of my lungs and I rush to Jordan. The heart monitor is beeping fast and I start to tear up because I don't know what to do.
"HELP ME!!! PLEASE!!!" I look for the button in her bed but I can't fûckin find it. I look every where while yelling but I find it right beside her bed, on the wall. I start to rapidly push it while yelling.

Her eyes are rolled back and and she's shaking like she's really cold. I don't know what I'm doing so I pull the blanket and start to cover her. The door busted opens and a doctor rushes in.
"She-I-she-I don't know what's going on!" I yell while he pushes me away. A nurse runs in and he yells at her, "Code blue! Code blue!" She runs back out and more doctors come in. He's starts to unplug her cords and starts to unlock the wheel on her bed.
"Whats going on with her!?"
They ignored me and start to roll her shaking body out of the room. I start to follow but two nurses come and push me back. I look over their heads and watch them roll her away. "What's going on!" I start to push them aside and start to jog to her but Denise comes in front of me and push me back.
"Stop Landon! She's having a seizure, the doctors are on it. You can't do anything but just wait."
I looked over her and she's starts to grab my hand and lead me somewhere. I have my eye on Jordan the whole time. The doctors are running with her now and then past doors then they slam shut.
I let Denise drag me where ever she wants to go, because now I don't even know what to do.
She types in some codes on some pin pad and the door unlocks. She drags me in and it's a break room. She makes me sit down and she walks away from me.
My eyes blur.
Tears.
I let them fall.
I let them make my eyes turn red.
She comes back and she pulls a chair in front of me with a coffee in her hand.

"Here." She whispers. I look down at the cup. It's steaming.
Black too.
I look back to her and see her staring at the coffee but slowly starts to look up and meet my eyes.
"W-why...why do this for me?" I whisper while grab the coffee and let my fingers brush against hers.
She jumps a little but she looks away from me. "I would like someone to do it me if I were in your situation."
I wipe my eyes and slowly start to drink the coffee.
It's horrible.
But I don't say anything and continue to drink it.
"Is..is she your girlfriend?"
I chuckle, "why? Jealous?" I say ,trying to get my mind poised from what's really the answer is.
She looks up with narrow eyes, "do I have to remind you again." She pulls up her left hand and wiggles her ring finger. "Engaged."
I lick my lips and stare at it then back to her eyes. "Forgot." Shrugging my shoulders , I place the cup on the table behind me and lay back till my back is completely on the back of the chair.
"So...was she?"
"No. Just a friend."
"Oh."
"I think...she has... someone else in mind."
That hurt my heart, but it's true.
She wants Jaxon instead.
Always the ones I like go for him.
I learn to deal with it though. I guess she wasn't the one for me, but that doesn't mean I won't protect her.
I would always love her....even as a friend.
"Has she ever had seizure before?"
"I don't know. I didn't even know what to do when I saw that happen. I was....scared. I never seen that before." I say while I hunch over and rub my eyes.
Her hand goes to my back and I tense up. She starts to rub slowly and I slowly start to relax.
"It happens a lot here. I been used to seeing a lot of people walking and then just get hit by one."
"Do...do they die?"
She was quiet and her hand stops. I slowly start to sit up and see her starting at me already.
"Some...some aren't so lucky....but most are."
I gulp,"so....she....might-"
"There is possibility, but you called the doctors right away, so they have a higher advantage to it."
I stare at her.
Like really stare at her.
See everything in her face.
How her hair flows in the pony tail.
See the freckles on her face.
Her nice light pink lips.
No wonder she's engaged.
She stares at me and then looks at my lips. That got my heart racing. Just that little glanced got my blood pulsing trough my veins.
I start to lean in and she does to but right when our lips were about to touch she pulls back.
"I can't Landon. I wish I could but you came in my life to late." She whispers while she looks down at her ring.
"Yeah...It's fine. I've been used to this already. You're not the first Denise. Im happy you've found someone." I got up and start to walk out.
"Lan-"
"Be happy...because I'm still trying to...bye Denise."
And I walk out leaving her behind me....
