"And. Here. We. Go!" Greyson opens the door and we rush in. My heart pounds against my chest but I couldn't help but just smile.
"Wow." I whispered.
"I know right! Once we get all of our furniture in here, it would be even more amazing!" Greyson said from behind me.
I walked around the apartment. It was a two bedroom with two bath. We had a patio, with the view of the city. We are on the second floor. I walked over to the kitchen and the counters were black and white marble. The oven was stainless steel. The microwave was glossy black. The refrigerator was stainless black. The sink was stain less steel in side and the faucet was stainless steel too.
"Wow." I whispered again. I walked over to the patio and open the door. The view was just perfect. It showed the city and I can't wait to see it at night.
"I know right." Greyson whispered beside me.
"It's perfect." I smiled just looking at the tall skyscrapers.
"Come on. Let's go get some furniture."
****
"Okay, we have everything settled. They said they will start to bring the couches tomorrow. I won't be here because I have school. Just sign the papers. I already paid for the couches, beds, chairs, and table." I looked over to him in the car while he was merging onto the other lane.
"Thank you." He looked over to me and I smiled. He smiled as he placed his hand on my thigh. "Welcome. Now we just need to go grocery shopping."
***
We pulled up to a close food market and climbed out of the car. I hooked my arm with his and he started to run. I laughed but I didn't stop him. My stomach hurt but once we came next to the automatic sliding doors he stop. I unhooked my arm with his and walked over to carts.

I pulled one out and walked over to Greyson. He was already walking towards the vegetables. I rolled my eyes but I just pushed the cart towards him.
"Okay. You need vitamins the doctor said. So, we'll get some fruits and all that good stuff."
"Can we get mangos?" I said while I walked next to him while he placed the vegetables in plastic bags and placed the them in the cart.
"Sure. Why not, right?" He said while reaching over to get some lettuce.
I smiled and left the cart with him and walked over to the mangos. I picked up five rip ones and tied them off in the bag. I walked back and see the cart is almost full with vegetables.
"Okay. We need food food. Not rabbit food." I said while I placed the mangos in the cart and pushed him away from the cart and started to push it towards the meat.
"It's good for you!" I rolled my eyes and walked towards the chicken breast.
"Shut up would you." I said while I picked up the package with the breast.
"Whatever. I'm going to get some cereal."
"Ok."
I pushed around the cart, going down the aisle grabbing some meat as I go. Once I was done with the meat. I walked towards the milk and juice. I grabbed some milk and some orange juice. I walked over to the cheese and grabbed some packets of cheese and threw them in cart. I walked towards the water isle and it hurt, but I picked up the case of water and pushed it in the bottom rack.
I went back to the cheese area and went to grab some turkey for some sandwiches. I grabbed some jar of pickles and I started walk to the chip area.
When I was pushing it and turning a corner, I heard some say, "fûck." But it was more as a whisper. I brought my eye brows together and continued to push the cart towards the aisle.

No one was here except for some one walking fast with their hoodie up and had a big leather jacket.
I know it's going to turn winter but it hasn't even reached fall. So seeing a thick jacket on in this weather is crazy.
They sped down the aisle and turning the corner before I can see who it was.
"Okay."
****
"Oh. My. God." Greyson huffed out while he threw the case of water on the counter and hunched over letting his arm go limp.
"Never again. Never. Again." He huffed out.
I chuckled and settled the milk down with some bags I carried up stairs.
"That's the last of it. Calm down. I thought you worked out." I said while I started to take out the food out of the bags.
"I do! I just don't work out as much." He murmured.
I shook my head and chuckled.
"Hurry. We need to start to go for my appointment. They want to have a check up." I said while I started to go through the cabinets
"I know! But my arms are like dead. Dead! All because of you!" He said while he weakly pointed his finger at me. He tried so hard to have a serious face but when I was smiling at him and raising an eyebrow he couldn't help but smile with a little chuckle.
"Okay. When you are done complaining, you can help me by putting away some stuff too."
He sighed loud and muttered something under his breath but I couldn't hear.
"Want to say that a little louder?" I said while he came close to me. I gave him a poke on his side and he scooted away.
"No."
"Then don't say anything if you don't want them to hear."
"What ever." He murmured.
****
"Okay. Lift up your shirt and lay back." I did what I was told and the paper crackled under me when I laid back.
I jumped when his hands touched my stomach.
"I'm sorry." He said.
"No, it's just your hands are really cold." I said trying to hold back the laugh when he was moving his around my stomach.
"Having any pain?"
"When I run, or when I get up from bed or sitting down."
"Okay, don't run first of all. You don't want your guts coming out, and that's normal to feel some slight pain. Scale to 1-10 when you get up right now." He said while he took a step back.
I sat up and bit my lip from say 'ow'. He raised an eyebrow waiting for me to answer.
"A seven." I said while I sighed when it went away.
"Mhm. Okay. Well you're first week from surgery would be tough, but next week when you come. You'll feel better. I'm going to leave the stitches in longer, because I want that to heal completely. I'll give you more medicine and some pain killers for the pain. Sounds good?" He smiled.
"Perfect. Thank you." I said while I got off the bed and kicked Greyson's shin to wake him up.
"Okay. Let me just get you the slip."
"Okay." He walks out and I turn to Greyson and still see him asleep.
I rolled my eye and sighed.
Let's forget the past and move on.
I need to move on.
He probably had.

Hymn of Ignis
If a man is told to walk from the moment of his awakening to the world, what will he do? He will walk. What if along his path he stumbles and falls? He will get up, and walk. What if along his path others bar the way? He will push through, and walk. What if along his path a storm hinders his passage? He will overcome it, and walk. What if along his path the sky changes color and light no longer guides the way? He will remain on his path, and walk. What if along his path the very ground gives way to oblivion? He will press on, and walk. What if along his path he becomes more than a man? Will he stop? Release schedule will be either weekly, or biweekly, depending on the time I have available. Hopefully that will change for the better along the way. As for the story itself, opinions matter a lot! I appreciate both soft, and hard criticism, so don't hold your punches.

Reborn Into My Novel
What if you lived in the world of your own creation? As fate would have it, our dear amateur novelist, Ellie, was reborn into the world of her fantasy novel after falling asleep at her computer. Bewildered as she was, the first person that she met was the protagonist of her novel. To add salt to the wound, it was right before the tragedy that decimated his village as per his backstory. Will Ellie save the village (and herself) to risk changing the fundamentals of her novel? Will she instead let the story run its course and leave everyone in the village to their deaths? Disclaimer: This novel is a work in progress and will be updated hopefully at least once a week. Expect minor mistakes (maybe some typos and punctuation errors) since this is the very first draft. The author suffers from perfectionism and impostor syndrome and therefore attempts to use this as sort of a therapy to break away from perfectionism and self doubt. Basically, the author employs a “I don’t care anymore and screw this trash work” mindset just to get stuff rolling and not set any expectations. Basically, basically, the author just wants to write something and not care about planning and quality and all those nice things about writing a GOOD novel since it’s counterproductive. Kthxbye. ps: Thanks for even reading this trash work pps: You’re not trash for reading this trash work btw ppps: Thanks I love y’all so much Shout out!
