Taehyung sat on his bed, staring at the wall with longing in his eyes as he drowned himself in sorrow and self-pity.
A week.
A full week has gone by since that day on the couch and Jeongguk still hasn't spoken to him. Not even a single word. Hell, the ravenette hasn't even acknowledged Taehyung once. In a full week!
To say that it's taken a toll on Taehyung is an understatement. He feels quite literally drained, like he doesn't have a reason to go to practice or even walk into the living room for their daily talks.
He just wants to talk to Jeongguk. To hold Jeongguk. To be with Jeongguk. Anything Jeongguk.
But the younger won't even so much as look at him. If they're in the same room he'll look at everyone but Taehyung, and smile that cute little bunny smile at everyone but Taehyung.
And Taehyung doesn't even fully understand what happened. One second, he was kissing Jeongguk on the couch, then he was getting yelled at about using Jeongguk for sex. Then Jeongguk stormed off and cried in his room.
And Taehyung couldn't even say how he felt, because he was too shocked to speak up. He did have feelings for the younger, of course he did, or else he wouldn't have had sex with him in the first place.
So yeah, getting called a user hurt his feelings just a little. He knew he had to make up with Jeongguk, because his heart just couldn't take anymore separation from the younger.
He just didn't know how he was going to get Jeongguk to even listen to him, let alone believe him.
Taehyung let out a long groan, falling out of his sitting position so that his face smashed into the pillow resting on his bed. With his voice being muffled, he lets out a long scream, trying to relieve the stress that was clouding his mind.

Halfway through his prolonged scream of agony, there was a loud bang in the hallway followed by loud curses, before his door was flung open. Apparently not muffled enough, Taehyung thought.
"Jeonggukie?" Taehyung murmured, his voice full of hope as he rolled towards the door to see an angry and confused looking Jimin. Well, all hope just flew out the window.
"Bitch, do I look like Jeongguk?" Jimin hissed, narrowing his eyes before limping into the room and slamming the door behind him. "Now why the fuck are you screaming in here for?"
"Why are you limping?" Taehyung questioned, completely overlooking Jimin's own question as he pointed towards the older.
"Don't ignore my question." The blonde stated, crossing his arms. "I'm limping because you decided to scream like you were getting kidnapped just for kicks. So I came running to your rescue, like the amazing hyung that I am, and fell on my ass."
"Oh no, the Jibooty," Taehyung rolled his eyes, not seeing the small fist coming towards his arm until it was too late. "Ouch."
"You dumbass, why were you screaming." Jimin asked again, though it sounded more like he was demanding an answer. Taehyung sighed.
"I'm assuming you already know about Jeongguk and I after," Taehyung gulped, running his fingers through his hair. "After last week in the living room."
"Oh yes, I know all about you and Ggukie's little, rendezvous, in the bathroom." Jimin snorted, shaking his head. "You kinky-fuck, what kink factory did you crawl out of?" 👀
Taehyung felt his face begin to burn, and he licked his lips nervously. "Y-Yeah, I guess..."
"But I also know that you two are fighting." Jimin says, and chord felt like it was struck inside of Taehyung's heart. Fighting. Jeongguk and him have never fought, it just didn't happen. It felt like the end of the world.

"Y-You do?" Jimin nods, walking slowly towards the bed and plopping down on it with a wince.
"Yeah, Jeongguk has been crying to me about it for a week now, what happened?" He asks, scooting closer to the younger and laying down to rest his head on Taehyung's shoulder. The gesture was oddly comforting for Taehyung, and he pressed himself completely against the smaller male, burrowing his head into Jimin's chest, earning a chuckle.
"Tae, what happened?" Jimin asked again, this time in a softer tone that made Taehyung crack, his eyes tearing up immediately as he squeezed the older tighter.
"I-I didn't t-t-tell him I l-liked him b-back, a-a-and now he h-hates m-me," Taehyung choked out as he cried into Jimin's shirt, not caring about the tear and snot mixture that was soaking the fabric.
"Mhm, why didn't you tell him you liked him?" Jimin inquires, running a soothing hand through Taehyung's hair, almost like a mother.
"I-I couldn't! I-I was t-too scared!" Taehyung croaked, trying to stop his tears that just kept falling.
"Well, imagine how scared Jeonggukie feels, first you found out about his not-exactly-small crush, fucked him in the bathroom, slept with him, then tried to fuck him, again. I would think I was being used too, Tae." Jimin explained, giving him a small smile, and the pain in Taehyung's chest grew, making it hard to breathe as another sob wracked his body.
"Jiminie!" Taehyung sobbed, basically trying to mold bodies with Jimin at this point so he could just disappear. "I-I hurt h-him! I-I- w-what do I d-do?"
"Well, you can start by talking to him, and apologizing. Then, tell him how you feel, you dummy." Jimin says, ruffling the younger's silver locks.
"I can't! He w-won't even look at me!" Taehyung whined, his tears continuing to fall onto Jimin's shirt, which Jimin already lost all hope for.
"Well, then you can either wait, like a coward," Jimin raised one eyebrow, looking into the younger's eyes to make sure he was listening, "or, you can corner him, which you seem to have no problem doing."
Taehyung thought for a minute, his lips forming a pout as he narrowed his puffy eyes. "But what if he punches me? I would die." Taehyung complained, making Jimin groan at his lame excuse.
"Taehyung, stop being dumb. Jeongguk would never punch any of us to hurt us, especially his crush, which, newsflash, is you." Jimin pointed out, lightly smacking the younger on the head. "Just man up, and claim his ass. Many ARMYs would love to take your place."
Taehyung shot up at that, all but throwing Jimin off of him. Luckily, the smaller managed to catch himself before he was flung off the bed, his life flashing before his eyes. "Jeongguk is mine. Not any ARMY's. Mine."
Jimin shrugged, standing up and looking down at Taehyung. "No Taehyung, he's not. You have to ask for that, so do it." He said, leaning forward and giving Taehyung a quick hug before leaving the room.
Taehyung thinks things over in his head, planning how he was going to get Jeongguk to listen to him and accept his apology. He understands if Jeongguk rejects him, but he still wanted to be friends if possible.
"Ah Taehyung," He murmurs to himself, laying back down and closing his eyes, "you've really done it now."
After coming up with a semi-good plan of action, he allows himself to drift to sleep, feeling mentally tired from crying. Besides, he had to rest for their concert tomorrow, where he would execute his plan to make Jeongguk his.

Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.
