We were all eating in silence, i would glance up at Toni and i would see him and his father sending each other death stares, i grabbed my cup taking a sip from the water and putting it back down in front of me.

Someone on the table cleared their throat, i looked up to see Sara. "Jordan, i have something to say." She said, Jordan looked away from Toni and at her.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I was thinking we should all go on a vacation together, do you remember that cabin mom and dad had bought? I was thinking we should all go there. i mean it will help us all relax and hopefully we can all get along." Jennifer said smiling.

She glanced at me sending me a death stare before looking back at her brother, i looked down running a hand through my hair. "I think that's a good idea, isn't it Jennifer?" He asked Jennifer who sat there chewing her food.

She slowly nodded. "Yeah, i mean if it's to help all of us relax and you know get alone then i agree." She said smiling.

Everyone else agreed and the only ones that stayed quiet was me and Toni. "I'm not going, neither is Layla." Toni spoke up making everyone go silent and look at us.

Jordan sighed in annoyance. "What do you mean?" He asked.

"I'm not going and neither is Layla." He repeated slower.

Jordan looked at Toni with a clenched jaw. "We are all going and that's final." He slapped the table making me jump.

"You think this trip is going to bring us all together?" Toni said, talking louder as he stood up. "Fine we'll come but i know this trip will be the worst vacation." He told them, before grabbing my hand and taking us out of the dining room.

Instead of walking upstairs we walked into his office, he shut the door behind us, letting go of my hand and walking towards the couches, he poured some whisky into a glass cup. I sighed not wanting him to drink.

Before he drank it, i grabbed the cup from his hand. "Toni, please don't drink." I said, putting the cup on the table.

He sighed in annoyance. "It helps me calm down." He said reaching for it, before he could grab it, i grabbed onto his hand.

"Look, i don't want to go on this trip either." I told him, as i squeezed his hand comfortably. "But please just try, you and your dad need to work things out." He just stared at me. "Promise me when we go on this trip you will not do anything." He huffed.

"I promise, now can i have my whisky?" He asked.

I shook my head 'no'. "No." I heard someone say behind me, i turned around to see Jennifer smiling. "Who drinks after finding out they are going on a trip?" She asked walking towards us. "You two need to start packing if you're coming, because we're leaving today." She informed us.

Toni nodded. "We'll go pack." He said with a blank expression, letting go of my hand and walking out of the office leaving me with his mom.

Jennifer's eyes started to water. "Jennifer?" I walked up to her worriedly, she looked at me as a tear fell down her cheek. "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.

She nodded wiping her cheeks. "This family is falling apart, no matter how much i try. Its useless because this family has already fallen apart." She cried throwing herself into my arms, i slowly wrapped them around her rubbing her back.

"Everything is going to get better." I whispered as we both pulled away, she nodded wiping her tears.

"I just hate seeing my husband and son fight." She let out a shaky breath.

"Jennifer!" We heard Jordan call out, Jennifer quickly wiped her face.

"I need to go." She said and i nodded.

She gave me a sad smile before leaving the room, i hate seeing families fall apart, i huffed walking out of the office, i went upstairs went towards my room opening the door, to see Toni leaning against the window.

I walked in shutting the door behind me. "The maids already packed everything." Toni said without turning around.

I bit my lip not saying anything as i slowly made my way towards him.

"Toni?"

"Hm?" He hummed not turning around to look at me.

"Are you okay?" I asked softly.

He chuckled. "I ask myself that every day." He glanced at me then back at window. "You want to know what i always want to say when someone asks me that question?" I didn't say anything and just stared at him. "I'm not okay." He said, finally looking at me.

I looked straight into his eyes, and all i could read was, broken, hurt, anger, and hopeless.

"Toni-" He cut me off shaking his head.

"You know why i'm a cold hearted person?" He didn't wait for me to answer. "It's because i lost trust and love in people." He walked past me, i turned around looking at him. "I lost trust and love because i fell for someone who used me." He said chuckling.

"And you want to know the stor-" He was cut off by someone knocking on the door and they walked in, revealing Kevin and Katherine.

"Come on! We're leaving now." Katherine said.

"Toni you'll be driving your own car." Kevin said and Toni nodded.

They both walked out of the room, i went towards my purse picking it up putting it on my shoulder, i went towards our suitcase, i was about to pick it up but Toni stopped me. "I'll take care of it." He told me.

I was about to protest but he shook his head. "Shh, without any arguments please let me carry this." I sighed in defeat nodding.

We walked out of our room and downstairs, to see everyone was already outside, Toni huffed in annoyance. "Fuck this trip is going to be shit." He said, making me cringe at his curse words.

We walked out of the house, the men were talking about who is taking who, i walked over to Brianna who was also coming on the trip. "Hi!" She squealed pulling me into a hug.

"Hello." I said as we pulled away. "How are you?" I asked.

"Good! You?" She asked happily.

"I'm good." I replied smiling at her happiness.

"Katherine, Brianna and Eliza, are going to ride with Kevin." Katherine and Brianna groaned at the same time.

"Can we please not put Eliza in the same car as us?" Katherine asked her dad, who ignored her while Eliza shot Katherine a look.

"You hate a lot of people." Brianna told Katherine making me chuckle.

"It's not my fault they are hoes." She said raising her hand in surrender. "One of them are trying to ruin a marriage, the other one is ruining my brother's life." She pointed at Serena and Eliza, Brianna bursted into laughter.

I looked up to see Kevin staring at her with his eyes shining, for some reason i had this feeling that Kevin liked her. I snapped out of my thoughts when i felt arms wrap around me from behind, Toni put his chin on my shoulder.

As his mustache tickled my cheek, Katherine winked at me causing me to blush and look down at my wedding ring and engagement rings. "Toni, Serena and Anna will be in the same car as you two." I nodded not minding it.

Toni sighed nuzzling his face into my neck. "I wanted to be alone with you." He said as i shivered when his breath hit my neck.

"And i will take Jennifer, Sara and my mom." Jordan said and clapped his hands. "Let's go." He smiled walking over to his car, Toni grabbed my hand leading me towards his car.

Toni opened the passenger seat door for me, i smiled at him before getting in, he shut the door behind me as he ran towards the other side getting into the drivers seat, i buckled my seatbelt, Toni did the same, Anna had gotten into the car except for Serena who we were waiting on.

"Can that stupid bitch hurry up?" Anna asked with attitude, me and Toni glanced at each other before looking out the window.

"I couldn't find my makeup." Serena said, Anna scoffed.

"I believe that makeup on your face would probably last two months, i don't think you need anymore, you clown." Anna said, i looked at Anna in shock before looking out the window. "Actually clowns look better than you." I can hear the smirk in her voice.

Serena gasped. "Why are you so mean?" She asked, Toni closed his eyes annoyed.

"Anna enough!" Toni snapped, he started the car. "Shut the door so we can go." He ordered, Serena shut the door making Toni finally drive. I pulled out my phone feeling it vibrate.

"Mom?" I answered.

"Hey sweetie." I can still hear her sad voice. "How are you?" She asked.

"I'm good." I answered. "How are you feeling?" I asked, i heard her sniff. "Mom." I said softly.

"I miss him." She said making tears swell up in my eyes. "I miss seeing him, i miss him so much." She cried.

I inhaled feeling a lump in my throat. "I know." I said with a crack in my voice. "But dad wouldn't want to see you like this." I told her swallowing a lump in my throat, i felt a warm hand cover my free hand i looked down to see Toni's hand, he interlocked it squeezing it.

"I know." She sobbed, i exhaled a shaky breath. "I'm sorry, this call was to check on you but i made it worse." She said, Toni let go of my hand wiping the tear that escaped my eye, i heard someone calling my mom's name from the background. "Sweetie i need to go your aunt is calling for me."

"Okay, bye mom." I said. "I love you."

"I love you too, bye." I pulled the phone away from my ear hanging up.

I stuck my phone into the cup holder rubbing my hands together, Toni's phone rang. "Can you answer that?" He asked me and i nodded.

"It's Kevin." I said reading the caller Id, i answered it putting it on speaker.

"Hello?" Toni spoke up.

"Hey dad said we are going to stop by the gas station to get some gas and snacks." He informed us. "He said it is a two hour drive." Kevin said making Serena groan as Anna shot her a death stare.

"Okay, see you at the gas station then." Toni said.

"Bye." Kevin said before hanging up.

Toni turned to the gas station and parked. "Come on." He told me, i unbuckled my seatbelt opening the passenger seat jumping out, the same time Toni did.

Katherine and Brianna walked over towards me. "Can we please ride with you guys and send Serena to Kevin?" Katherine asked me and Toni.

"We are going to make Kevin suffer." Brianna said laughing.

Toni chuckled grabbing onto my hand. "We should go buy snacks by the time that guy sticks in gas for us." I nodded, we walked into the store.

Toni grabbed a basket and we walked over to the snacks, we just put random stuff in there like, chips, gummies, cake, chocolate, and drinks. "What the fuck?" Toni said making me look up at him.

"Hm?" I hummed.

"Why the fuck is the cashier standing there looking at you like you're some kind of meat?" Toni asked with anger as he sent the guy a cold look before looking back at me with a clenched jaw.

I sighed. "What if he is making sure we are not stealing." I whispered to him, causing him to shoot me a look.

I sighed looking over at the guy, who was scanning me up and down, i gulped looking away when he sent a smirk and a wink. "Don't look." Toni said. "He probably thinks you're attracted to his beer belly." That's rude.

"Stop judging." I told him, as i picked up some animal crackers.

"That's it." Toni sighed, i felt strong hands grab my waist turning me around, i came face to face with a jealous looking Toni, before i could say anything he smashed his lips onto mine, i slowly started kissing back.

I pulled away from the kiss. "Toni, that's inappropriate." I told him, he looked at me giving me a 'i don't care look.'

"It's not inappropriate when you're showing hungry horny men that the girl is taken." Toni said with an annoyed tone.

I huffed throwing the animal crackers in the basket before walking off with Toni on my tail, we walked over to the cashier, Toni stood in front of me putting the stuff on the counter, the guy continued to smirk making me shiver.

The guy put everything in the bag. "That would be 10.99$ and your phone number." He said winking at Toni.

My mouth fell into a 'o' while Toni stood there with wide eyes, he took out his wallet paying for the snacks, i grabbed a bag while Toni grabbed another and he quickly took my hand rushing out.

"Oh my god." I said through my giggles. Toni was still shocked. "You thought he was staring at me but he-" I cut myself off giggling harder.

"Just get in the car." Toni said smiling, i chuckled shaking my head getting into the car the same time Toni did. "Here we bought random snacks." Toni said handing them a bag.

Jordan started his car and drove off, Kevin did too and then it was us, Anna took out a bag of chips and started eating. "Thank heavens." She moaned.

"Could you stop?" Serena asked making Anna purposely moan louder while throwing another chip in her mouth. "So un-ladylike." Serena said, I flipped my hair to the side opening a pack of M&Ms, i grabbed one and stuck it in my mouth.

I continued eating them one by one. "Not going to offer me any?" Toni asked, glancing at me then back at the road.

I took out one, and mentioned him to open his mouth, he smirked opening his mouth slightly, with one hand he grabbed my hand sticking the M&M in his mouth while keeping his eye on the road, he made sure to suck my finger making me gasp.

I quickly took my hand out of his, he chuckle, i turned my head to see Anna focusing on her phone while Serena was looking in her purse, i sighed in relief that none of them saw his inappropriate action.

I looked over at him to see him smirking at me, then turned his had focusing on the road, i blushed looking down. "You look cute when you blush." He whispered to me, i looked away blushing even more. "I knew it would work." I heard him say.

I put my head against the window closing my eyes, slowly drifting to sleep, i felt something cover my body, i opened my eyes looking down to see Toni's leather jacket over me. "You looked cold." Toni said, i smiled at him then closed my eyes falling to sleep.

"Layla." I felt someone shake me, my eyes slowly fluttered open as i covered my mouth when a yawn escaped from me, i rubbed the blurriness in my eyes. "We are almost there." Toni said and i nodded running a hand through my hair.

"How long have i been a sleep?" I asked, stretching.

"Two hours and thirty minutes." Anna answered. "I'm glad you're not like Sara, that woman snores in her sleep and she says she is mature." Anna said making Toni roll his lips in his mouth holding back a laugh.

I shook my head at the two. "Don't make fun of someone when they aren't here." Serena said sending Anna a look.

"Then why do you talk about other people when they aren't there?" Anna asked fluttering her eyelashes.

"Anna stop trying to pick a fight." Toni said sending her a look through the review camera.

"This bitch has made a innocent character which under that character she is a witch! Pure stupid witch!" Anna said and went to go attack Serena but i grabbed her hand.

"Anna, please." I said, she sighed looking at me and nodded.

"Enough!" Toni yelled, making me flinch. "Enough with the fucking arguments!" He shouted not taking his eyes off the road, while an angry expression formed on his face.

I held onto my forehead looking out of the window it was at night but the light was shining, Toni turned to this road that was covered in leaves, we were driving towards this beautiful cabin in the woods, a bunch of leaves were on the ground and it looked beautiful.

Trees surrounded the cabin. "It's beautiful." I said.

"It's the woods." Toni said.

"The woods can be beautiful too." I told him.

He nodded. "Yeah, it can." He said as he parked the car. "You should see it in daytime."

Anna sighed in relief and jumped out of the car before us, I unbuckled my seatbelt following Toni who came out of the car after Anna, i shut the door behind me looking at the place. A smile formed on my lips.

"We are here!" Kevin shouted in relief as he walked towards Toni who was taking the bags out of his car. "Hey sister-in-law!" I turned around looking at Kevin. "Was Toni here a good boy? Or was he a naught one?" Kevin asked making Toni shoot him a look and making me laugh lightly.

"I'm guessing Santa has to put you on the naughty list, you bad bo- OW!" Kevin held onto his stomach where Toni punched.

"Help me take these suitcases inside." Toni said laughing, i covered my mouth as i looked at Kevin who was still holding his stomach slowly walking towards the car to help Toni, Jordan soon joined them making Toni stop laughing and putting a blank expression on.

I exhaled shaking my head. "My brother looks happy." Katherine said from beside me making me look at her surprise.

"When did you get here?" I asked.

"When you were too busy looking at my brother with heart eyes." She said making me blush. "You've changed him, Layla." I looked at Toni who was laughing at something Kevin said. "Usually he wouldn't laugh at whatever Kevin would say, hell he barley even talks to us." She told me.

"But ever since you came he slowly started talking to us and started spending time with us, it's like you brought back the old Toni."

I kept quiet looking at Toni who was taking the last suitcase in. "What the hell did you stick in this Kevin, shit!" Toni said laughing while handing him the suitcase.

"It's important stuff, brother." Kevin said before walking inside.

"You melted his cold heart, Layla." Katherine said, i turned my head looking at her. "You brought back the old Toni and i would like to thank you for that." Katherine pulled me into a hug with tears in her eyes.

I smiled wrapping my arms around her, we slowly pulled away. "Are you two okay?" Jennifer asked from behind us.

Katherine and i nodded. "Yeah." I smiled.

Arms wrapped around my shoulder from behind. "Hello." His husky voice whispered in my ear, i put my hands on his arms smiling.

"Hi." I replied back.

"Hey." Katherine said making me, Toni and Jennifer laugh. "What i was feeling left out." She shrugged.

"Come let's go inside." Jennifer said as Toni wrapped his arms around my waist leading me inside.

"I think i'm going to barf too much love." Katherine said fake gagging making me chuckle. "It's making my eyes bleed." She laughed running inside.

Toni shook his head smiling at his sister, as we walked inside the warm cabin, i shut the door behind us. "Come have a seat." Nia said coldly.

Toni shook his head. "We're going upstairs to unpack." He said before we waked upstairs. "I'm guessing this is our room." Toni said pointing at the second double door bedroom.

He opened the room, revealing a beautiful room, there were paintings on the wall, a bed with soft furry blankets, and a fire place but i don't think we'll be needing the since the weather isn't that cold.

Our suitcases were in the corner of the room. "It's beautiful." I said looking at the paintings on the wall.

Toni nodded. "Yeah, those are my grandfather's paintings, he taught me how to draw and paint." He said making me look at him.

"You can draw?" I asked.
