I know not what brought me back nor what kept me here, but I do know I'm sat here reminiscing about my life, our life but a decade ago.
About how your olive skin bore a red tint whenever I dared to inch closer ; about how your hair, beautifully disheveled swayed in the mess we called our lives.
I reminisce on your eyes glistening with a familiar shade of bliss, one in which we shared with none but the other.
So I stay sat here at the dawn of day, the enigma of dusk daring my eyes shut, with that same goofy smile tugging at my lips as the thought of you once more arises.
I see you in your full beauty just as I had done a decade ago, wishing I could start over as that know it all 16 year old boy.
So that for just a moment, I could feel the rush of emotions I once felt. Taste between Jupiter and June.
Taste me in crimson so that when we taste no more, when age will turn our buds sour and memories hazy, that I have hope to scour my letterbox and find you wrapped pristine silk, next to an image of June.
Within your eyes, euphoric.
