Omniscient
Walking into the house after a long day at work Milo was greete by Anya with a hug and kiss. She rubbed her now showing baby bump and smiled, just like he said they had gotten pregnant with a baby,The sun was setting and the humidity in the air signaled that it was soon to be another warm summer night.
"I missed you." She said holding him close.
"I missed you too." He said leaning down to kiss her stomach.
"How's the little guy?"
"Good. making me hungry all the time." She laughed before he kissed her again.
"It's suppose to be that way." He laughed.
"Go shower I'm gonna get dinner started." She said as he turned away to head toward the bathroom, he turned around to face her.
"You know I love ya'll right?" He said referring to Anya and their unborn baby boy.
"Of course I do baby." She said as he kissed her forehead.
"I'm gonna go freshen up." He mumble turning around and walking away.
He cut on the water letting the bathtub fill up as he stripped out of his clothes. Standing in front of the mirror in his boxers he didn't recognize himself, he had bags under his eyes and his hands shook. Reaching for the medicine cabinet his bottle of pills fell into the sink and they all went down the drain.
He felt anxious and stress had been building over time.
"No no no!" He said hitting his hand against his head. "I needed those." He muttered before locking the door behind him, leaning against the sink he put his head down before looking up into the mirror.
"Just do it!" That was Seven taunting him again.
"Leave me alone Seven."
"You know I can't do that." His voice laughed loudly in his head. "Just get it over with."
He looked over at the bathtub that was almost filled to the brim, cutting off the water he sat in it before laying back and closing his eyes.
"I'm sorry.. I'm so sorry." He mumbled as he submerged himself under the water.

Anya cut off the stove before she inched closer the the bathroom door, it was silent in the house and she noticed that Milo still wasn't out of the bathroom yet.
Knocking on the door as she called for him but no answer, rubbing her stomach she became nervous and knocked again.
"I wonder what daddy's doing in there." She said looking down at her stomach as the baby kicked.
"Milo? Open the door baby." She said becoming scared as tears filled her eyes.
"Milo, baby please open the door." She said but still no answer.
She was now pushing the door as hard as she could before it swung open.
Turning around slowly she leaned over and grabbed him out of the water and cried as his body was now limp.
"Milo baby, why did you do this?" She screamed holding his body close to her until the ambulance showed up.
Jumping up from his sleep Milo screamed causing Anya to jump up as well, she cut on the lamp snd turned to see him, she cupped his face with her hands.
"Milo what's wrong?!" She asked as she tried to get him out of the tranced he was in, he wasn't fully there and it scared the both of them. He was breathing heavily as he kept his eyes forward, Anya furrowed her eyebrows as she sat in front of him.
"Milo!" She said snapping her finger and waving her hand in his face, when he snapped out of it he stared at her for a few seconds before grabbing her into a tight hug as he cried hysterically.
"Shh, it's ok...It's ok babe." She said as his shoulders hunched up and down from his crying. "Milo you're shaking...." She said genuinely concerned.
He held her tight and kept crying until he couldn't anymore. Once he calmed down he swallowed down and was ready to talk.
"I had the worst nightmare I think I've ever had." He said looking over at the bathroom door then back at Anya.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
He closed his eyes and shook his head swiftly before feeling himself beginning to cry again.

"It's ok.. It was just a nightmare.. I'm right here.." She said kissing his nose before laying back down.
"I don't wanna go back to sleep." He mumbled before laying on his back and staring at the ceiling fan spinning.
"Did you want me to stay up with you?"
"No, go back to bed." He said as she laid close to him.
He counted how many times the fan spun as her arm draped across his torso.
"55,56,57,58,59,60." He yawned as his eyes felt heavy but he was too afraid to fall back asleep because he didn't want to have another nightmare, looking at the time the clock read 3:33 in the morning. He had been waking up every night at the time for the past few days.
"71,72,73-" He mumbled as his eyes closed causing him to fall back into a deep slumber.
——
"So explain this dream to me." Brianna said writing a few notes down.
Milo chewed on his bottom lip and ran a hand down his face.
"Basically Anya and I were at home, she was pregnant and I went to the bathroom and ended up drowning myself in the bathtub." He said not wanting to think about it.
"Wow, what happened when you woke up?"
"Anya told me that I was screaming so loud that I woke her up, she said that I wasn't all the way there and it took her a minute to get me to come back to reality."
He said staring at his hands. "I don't know if...."
"If what Milo?" Brianna questioned pushing her glasses above her nose.
"I don't know if.. If I can handle this anymore.."
"What do you mean?"
"This." He mumbled. "Everything, the only person keeping me sane is Anya and all I'm doing is scaring her away." He said clearing his throat. "What if one day she just gives up on me?" He sniffled.
"Milo you have to be optimistic-"
"I'm doing that!" He said slamming his hands against the table. "I'm doing everything right, I take my medicine, I come to therapy and nothings working! My minds still fucked up!" He said wiping his tears.
"Milo.."
"No! I'm starting to feel like these sessions aren't even working anymore. Nothing's working."
Before he could let her say anything else he stormed out of the office and made his way home. Once he got there he slammed the door shut and sat on the couch putting his head in his hands.
"Milo?"
He lifted his head up with tears in his eyes.
Don't do it Lo, You'll hurt her.
"We need to talk.."
"Ok? What's wrong?"
He looked her in the eyes and wiped his tears. "I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry."
"W-what? Milo are you?"
"I'm sorry. I'm a fuck up and you don't deserve to be scared every time something happens to me."
Anya's heart sank, she couldn't believe this was happening.
"Milo please don't-"
"Look I just need some space aight!" He said as he stood up, she tried to approach him but he pushed her away.
Not wanting to anger him further she shrugged her shoulder as tears filled her eyes.
"I'll go... stay with Makayla.." She mumbled before gathering her things, she grabbed her car keys before seeing him sitting on the couch.
"I love you. Call me when you're ready." She whispered kissing the top of his head before leaving the apartment.
Lo, you can't do this!
This isn't right. She loves you!
Go get her back.
He stormed over to his bedroom and started throwing things around, pillows and blankets were scattered all over the floor, sketchbook drawings were ripped up. He sat up against the wall and cried not sure what to do about anything. He didn't even want to feel any emotions.
I know what we could do. That was Seven taunting him like in his dream. Let me take over you'll feel better in no time.
Letting Seven front he stood up and got dressed, grabbing some cash from the dresser drawer he left the house in search of something to make him stop feeling.

Viridescent Core
Some mortals see dungeons as a plague to destroy. Some mortals see dungeons as a resource to manage and harvest. Some mortals see dungeons as a place to train and advance. However, all of them agree on something. Dungeons are unnatural and deadly. Places where death stalks every corner and monsters thrive. What mortals forget, in their hubris of tools and civilizations, is that Mother Nature is often the deadliest of all. Feel free to write any comment, suggestion, or criticism. Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
