I woke up and started getting ready for the meeting Alexander Pierce wanted to have with Steve and I.

I straightened my weave and started getting dressed.

I placed on a pair of black red bottom pumps.

"You need me to go up there with you?" Tiffany questioned "no I need you to be safe and to stay out of sight until you're needed at SHIELD. If they catch you with me you can possibly die so no" I explained.

"Y/N please be safe" she said on the verge of tears as I giggled and hugged her "so dramatic, don't I always?" I asked placing my shades on and grabbed my purse walking out the door. I placed some lip gloss on and walked to my car.

As I was driving to SHIELD head quarters I got an incoming call from a random number. I answered it as the sound of Alexander Pierce's voice went throughout the car. "Captain Rogers is here" he informed "okay I'm turning in now" I said pulling up in front of SHIELD as I got out the car. I held my phone in my hand along with my purse in the other that had my gun in it.

My heels clicked on the ground as people were greeting me. I went into the elevator as the door was closing but it soon opened because some one placed their hand in the opening. There stood Rumlow as I stood there uncomfortable. He smiled at me as I gave off a fake smile. He pressed the button as I just stood there holding my purse in front of me.

We soon reached the floor we needed to be on as the doors opened. I walked out as I felt a hand on my back "remember what I talked to you about?" Rumlow said as I nodded "we need to have justice for your father" he stated as i nodded and watched him open the door for me.

I walked into the conference room as Steve was standing up looking at a picture as Pierce was also standing up. Steve then looked up from the picture and looked over at me.

He looked me up and down as I just looked at him then Pierce. "You look lovely, How are you doing?" He questioned hugging me "I know you're trying to grieve I just thought you should be here while I talk and question Rogers, if you have any forms of punishment you can add in also would be fine" he started off as I faintly smiled and turned around.

I turned around and looked at Steve as we all sat at the table. "Do you want to say anything?" Pierce asked me as I shook my head. Pierce looked at Steve as Steve took his eyes off of me and looked at Pierce.

"See, I took a seat on the Council not because I wanted to, but because Nick asked me to, because we were both realists." Pierce started off as I listened.

"We knew, that despite all diplomacy and the handshaking and the rhetoric, to build a better world sometimes means tearing the old one down. And that makes enemies." He said as Steve and I shared a look and I looked at Pierce.

"Captain Rogers why was fury in your apartment the night he died?" Pierce asked as I looked at Steve "I don't know" he said. "Did you know he went over to Captain Rogers apartment that night?" Pierce asked me as I shook my head.

"No" I admitted "why would fury show up to your apartment then?" Pierce questioned "I don't know, he was just there" Steve said. "Captain you were the last one to see Nick fury alive, and you and I both know that wasn't by an accident." Pierce expressed "what did he tell you?" Pierce questioned "not to trust anyone" Steve expressed standing up.

I stood up as Pierce then stood up and looked at me "anything you want to say?" He asked touching my arm as I was kind of creeped out by him touching me. I moved my arm some as Steve watched him and I seen a vain pop out the side of his head.

"If you know who killed my father please let Mr. Pierce know" I said coming straight from off the top of my head. Steve and I headed for the door as he was about to open it for me but Pierce started talking catching our attention.

"Captain Rogers" he called out as we turned around "someone killed my best friend and we're going to find out who did it, no matter who it is" Pierce stated as Steve nodded. He opened the door for me as I walked out and he walked out behind me. "Did you tell him I was Fury's daughter?" I asked Steve as he shook his head and we walked into an elevator.

Steve was about to say something but I nodded my head towards the camera that was in the elevator.

He leaned back on the elevator wall and just looked up.

He then looked over at me with a little smile "What?" I asked in a giggle as he shook his head "nothing you look pretty" he complimented as I smiled some. "Whatever. what happened to being mad at me?" I asked as he was about to say something but the elevator stopped and three men came in.

Steve grabbed my arm some placing me by him as I stood beside him. A random guy smirked at me "Y/N you look sexy as always" the random guy expressed smirking trying to be funny making the other men in the elevator chuckle besides Steve . I seen Steve scrunch his eyes some and look at the guy out the corner of my eyes.

as I just giggled looking ahead. "Talk to me ever like that again and you'll lose your dick dead ass" I simply said pushing my hair over my shoulders as I heard Steve chuckle to himself and look down.

Steve touched my waist motioning me to move on the other side of him away from the guy. "How do I look?" Steve asked the guy as I giggled to myself. The elevator stopped as four more men in business suits and brief cases came onto the elevator along with Rumlow.

Steve moved me to now standing in front of him as the elevator started getting crowded and something felt off. "I meant to tell you Captain Rogers and Y/N I'm sorry about Fury, that's messed up what happened to him" Rumlow said to Steve and I as some more men came onto the elevator and I backed up into Steve.

"Thanks" Steve thanked Rumlow then Steve motioned for me to get behind him. "Oh my God my feet are killing me" I said to myself holding onto Steve's shoulder and stepping out of my heels.

"Before we get started, does anyone want to get out?" Steve asked as it was quiet then all of a sudden Rumlow turned around trying to shock Steve but he jumped out of the way and someone grabbed me trying to hold me down but I got out of their grip punching one of the guys in the face along with kicking him in his stomach as he fell onto to the ground.

I jumped onto another guy as he pushed me against the glass wall of the elevator hard as hell. I managed to get my hands on his head and turned it to the left hearing a snap, breaking his neck. He fell down as another guy tried to shock me but I ducked and ran to Steve trying to get the magnet cuffs off his hand.

A guy tried charging at me as I stopped what I was doing and kicked him in between his legs starting to punch him repeatedly in his face until his unconscious body fell onto the floor. I pulled the magnet off of Steve's hand. "Watch out" he stated as I moved out of the way and Steve punched the guy in his face.

"Don't take this personal" Rumlow started off placing his hands up as he hit Steve but Steve punched him in the face twice before picking him up and throwing him up into the elevator ceiling causing Rumlow to fall onto the ground unconscious.

"Damn he was kind of cute" I said looking at an unconscious Rumlow as Steve just looked at me. "Where'd you learn how to do that?!" He questioned as I tried opening the door to the elevator but instantly closed it when we seen SHIELD forces heading towards us with guns.

"I'm Fury's daughter I know more than you think" I said as he took his shield and broke the elevator as it started going down at a fast pace. It soon slowed down and stopped in between two floors.

Steve opened the elevator doors as we seen SHIELD forces running towards us with guns on this floor also. he instantly closed it and looked around. "We have to jump" he started off. "Who?! Jump off of what?! Jump into what?!" I asked like he was crazy. "It's the only way out, trust me" he said as he held my hand and we started running. his body and shield broke through the glass as I started screaming.

He grabbed onto me cuddling my body, holding my face into his chest as we finally hit the ground but I was in Steve's arms to where he broke my fall while his shield broke his fall. "Shit" I let out and groaned as I sat up slowly. "You okay?" I asked him as he nodded and squeezed his eyes shut before we got up.

I got up limping from a Piece of glass stuck in my foot. Steve looked at me "You alright?!" He asked "yeah I got some glass stuck in my foot" I informed as he immediately picked my body up running to my car. I took my backup key from under my car in its compartment unlocking the door as Steve placed me in the drivers seat looking at my foot finding the shard of glass. "You okay?" He asked as I nodded "yeah go before they catch you, they're coming for you before me" I said "be safe, I'll be at your place just give me a minute to deal with this" he said as I nodded and he took off.
