Steve and I have been doing really good only thing was he was bouncing between Washington and New York due to work. I still have been dodging being apart of SHIELD and it's been hard because fury is quote on quote dead and everyone act like I'm second in command or that I have to take the throne into becoming head of SHIELD. My mother and I no longer speak due to us having a huge argument and her judging me, calling me all types of hoes and me being stupid. Then she said she hopes me and Steve didn't make it and prayed that he got me pregnant and left.

Steve and I were coming back from Picking up our order of philly cheese steaks. We walked to my apartment door as I unlocked it. "You look good" Steve complimented as I looked down at my outfit.

"I know right, I've been stressing like crazy lately though" I admitted "well I'm going to make sure you eat while I'm here" he said handing me my food as I just smiled.

I kicked my heels off "wait so this is your first time having a philly?" I asked curious "yeah" he said "say swear" I said making him chuckle. "Yeah" he said more convincing.

"You're going to love it" I said opening my plate and eating a fry as he opened his plate. I got him a beer as I got myself a water. I started praying over our food as I finally finished the prayer and opened my eyes. I opened my eyes to see Steve staring at me with a sly smile.

"What?" I asked as he shook his head and I playfully rolled my eyes "if we keep standing up while eating we're going to get gas" I said making him chuckle.

"Where'd you learn that from?" He asked as I sat in the chair that was at the island and Steve placed a fry in his mouth sitting in the seat next to me.

"A movie" I admitted making him laugh "but" I started off as he chuckled and looked at me. "It is true that if you do stand up and eat you'll have gas" I said. "Why would I get it standing up vs sitting down he questioned.

"Because you digest your food faster so it'll increase poor carb digestion" I explained as he just chuckled "you are such a nerd" he said making me giggle before I bit into my Philly cheese sandwich. I watched Steve finally take his first bite of it. "It's good isn't it?" I asked with a smirk as he nodded.

"This is really good" he expressed making me just smile. "Told you and if you go to philly it's even better" I said. "We're going to have to take a trip" he said as I looked at him as he was smiling. I smiled back and we finished our food just talking about random stuff.

I felt Steve kiss my head as I looked at him and he kissed my lips. I climbed on top of him continuing to kiss his lips as he deepened the kiss. I slid his jacket off as he then sat up gripping my butt. I pulled away and placed my forehead on his and smiled to myself.

"You're not getting none because last time you literally broke off my headboard" I said as he chuckled "it was by an accident" he groaned leaning his head back as I giggled. "Steve no average person breaks the headboard off while fucking" I said making him laugh. "My couch being broke is not next" I stated causing him to laugh.

"Not to rush anything, just a question" Steve started off as I wrapped my arms around his neck listening to him. "What?" I questioned "if we had a kid What would you name him or her?" He asked "you really want to know the answer?" I asked as he nodded

"If it's a boy he'll be named after you of course. But if it's a girl since we didn't start dating until fall I would name her Autumn" I truthfully said. "I like that" he said with a big smile making me smile "I like that" he repeated as I interlocked our fingers and he pecked my lips.

"Don't tell me you got me pregnant" I joked as he chuckled. "No it's just something I asked because I plan on doing it soon" he said as I looked at him and smiled "how soon because there is no ring on this finger" I said showing him my ring finger making him chuckle as he kissed my hand.

"That's coming soon too" he said "people back then did move fast" I brought up "huh?" He asked "Steve you don't have to move THAT fast if you don't want too its a different era" I said. "How long do people wait?" He asked "hell five years sometimes longer" I said making him chuckle.

"Marriage is the next step after seeing someone through all seasons of life and if I seen you through all those seasons and I didn't turn away. then I'm ready" he explained "besides I think we'll be okay" he added making me faintly smile. "Yeah well until the time comes we'll talk about it until then stay out of trouble" I joked as he chuckled and pecked my lips.

He deepened the kiss and placed kisses on my neck before picking me up. "Steve, I don't have a headboard" I reminded him as he continued kissing my neck "you already broke my head board what's next the box spring holding the bed up?" I asked as he looked at me with a smirk then picked me up and ran into my bedroom as I laughed and squealed loudly.

Today Peggy wanted to see me so I was getting ready to do just that. She was really sweet and we grew on each other honestly she's always calling to see how I'm doing and Vice Versa she even tried to help me with some of my law work for class. I got dressed in a cute dress as my sew in was in curls and I placed it half up half down, leaving two curly pieces infront of my head.

I was into my hair being in dark brown high lights now it made my skin look even better. I chose to just wear a pair of back flats because I didn't feel like wearing heels. I grabbed my purse and got In the car driving over to the hospital Peggy was at. I checked in to go see her and knocked on her door.

"Come in" she stated before coughing as I came in "Aww you look beautiful I love your dress" she expressed as I smiled and looked down at my dress.

"Thank you" I thanked sitting in the chair by her bed. "You alright?" I asked genuinely concerned as she grabbed my hand and I held it. "I really think my days are numbered" she said "don't say that you'll live until you see me get old" I said making her smile "show me where have you seen someone grow that old" she brought up Methuselah in the Bible lived to nine hundred and sixty nine, if he can do it you can see my kids grow old too" I said as she laughed then started coughing some.

I got her a glass of water about to help her drink it but she grabbed my hand instead. "Y/N" she said as I looked at her "sit down" she said as I sat down back in my seat "I need you to make a promise to me" she started off "please don't do the death bed promise you're not dying yet" I said as she smiled. "You make him happy" she stated referring to Steve. "I want you to give him everything I couldn't give him, he loves you" she explained as I smiled.

"I can't keep that promise because what if-" she started off "it'll work, even if you two have time apart and be distance apart it'll all work out. You two are an endgame" she expressed as I giggled.

"How do you know that?" I questioned "wait-what does that even mean?" I asked in a small laugh as she just smiled. "By the way he looks at you and how happy he is" she started off "and you all have the internet now, look it up" she said as I giggled. "Well just know if there is a time machine I will make sure Steve comes home to you and have a family with you" I jokingly but seriously said as she giggled. "You two are perfect" She admitted making me smile.

"You still haven't joined SHIELD?" She questioned "no" I stated "why?" She questioned "because what do I look like joining SHIELD I am not my father" I said. "I also don't want to get caught up in if something is right but it looks wrong in others eyes." I admitted. "The council doesn't want the Avengers together between New York, Sokovia and Washington. the destruction they cause when these attacks are happening, they don't want the avengers together privately. They want the Avengers when they want them" I explained.

"As a leader you compromise where you can, how do you feel about the avengers?" She questioned "I understand where the councilman are coming from but the avengers are here to protect us from things our regular army cannot protect us from" I admitted.

"So you compromise where you can with them,where you can't compromise then don't. Even if they are telling you that that organization is wrong but it's right" she started off "even if the whole world tells you all to move. It is your duty to plant yourself like a tree look them in the eyes and tell them no." She explained.

"Don't let no one bring you down because you're a woman either, if certain circumstances come and you know there is no compromising then just stand down and it's okay to do that some times" she said as I faintly smiled.
