Y/N was out with Tiffany as I was with Sam trying to figure where could Rumlow be next. "Is something wrong with Y/N?" Sam questioned. "I don't know she's been weird ever since last night after Tony left" I expressed. "You think maybe that engagement ring was hers?" Sam questioned "I left it in the jacket when I gave her it" I said placing my hand on my head.

Sam just chuckled "that could be a possible reason but I don't know" Sam expressed. "She did stop talking after you tossed the ring to Tony" Sam added. " I don't think it's that, we just head a tell the other night and she said herself some people wait years before getting engaged" I brought up. "She told me to go at my own pace" I added.

"And what exactly is your pace?" Sam asked as I just smiled "by that look you must be in a process of doing something." Sam said smiling back. Tiffany and Y/N came into the room as our attention shifted to them. "Okay so tonight don't wear anything over the top we're going to Applebee's" Tiffany stated as Sam looked between Tiffany and I.

"What's going on?" He questioned "we're going on a double date" I said as Sam begun laughing. "You can't go on a double date with someone if you have no date tiff" Sam said. "Which is why I'm going on one with them and not you, I have a date" Tiffany simply stated rolling her eyes from Sam as Y/N giggled shaking her head. "What's his name?" Sam questioned "Don't worry about it" Tiffany said.

"Well I'm going what time we have to be ready?" Sam asked as I chuckled. "You don't even got a date, no" Tiffany said. "What time we leaving?" Sam looked over and asked me. " 5 we have to beat traffic going into the city and we're from upstate" I added.

"You weren't supposed to tell him" Tiffany said "I'm pretty hurt you didn't tell me, I thought we were better than that?" Sam questioned holding onto his chest. "Oh shut up" Tiffany days before walking out.

Y/N looked at Shocked some "You like tiff" She stated "Y/N what are you talking about?" He questioned.

"Yeah it's pretty obvious" I said "first off if it was her or a tree I'll pick the tree, I wanted to go for the ride and food" Sam explained. "Okay" Y/N sarcastically said. "Why you so worried about me?! Worry about those long ass nails you got and how you going to wipe your ass" Sam said as I looked at Y/N's nails and toes.

"Shut up, They're not even that long. why you getting so defensive?" She questioned in a giggle as I chuckled. "Just say you got a thing for Tiffany and we'll go from there" I said making Y/N giggle.

"I'll be upstairs getting ready" Y/N said to me before going out. I then looked at Sam "Don't like her, would never like her" Sam stated "yeah" I simply said before getting up. "I'm serious" Sam argued as I just looked at him before leaving out the office we were in.

I started getting ready after Y/N and yet she's still getting ready while I'm sitting on the bed. "I'm almost done babe, hold on " she said "Mhm" I said flopping back on the bed with my arm over my face. I heard her spray her body with some perfume as I peeked and seen her back in the mirror placing lip gloss on.

"Okay, okay, I'm done" She said as I sat up to see her hair in curls

While she had on a mint green two piece shirt and matching skirt set on with a pair of silver sandals.

"Are you sure you're ready?" I asked as she nodded "are you positive?" I asked as she smiled and nodded. I got up grabbing the keys "you look pretty" I complimented with a warm smile as she smiled harder "thank you" she thanked.

We walked downstairs as Tiffany was also walking downstairs. "I'm ready too!" We heard Sam say as he rushed down the stairs. Tiffany just turned and looked at him before rolling her eyes. "You thought I was playing?" He asked her. "No because if you ruin this night for me I will never talk to you again" Tiffany said as Sam chuckled "fine with me, I just want food" he said.

"Word" Y/N said "word what?" I asked as "Ste-babe, I'm agreeing with him" she started off "You say that matter of fact Don't say it, it's out of style" she explained grabbing my hand as we got in the car and I started the car. Y/N got in on the passengers side as Sam and Tiffany were seated in the back seats.

"I can't believe you're coming it's supposed to be a double date not a double date plus one" Tiffany said as Sam said something and they just started arguing.

Y/N and I just sighed. "I need a vacation" Y/N simply said looking out the window as I chuckled.

I then placed my hand on her thigh as she looked over at me and smiled. "Don't do that" Sam interrupted us "what?" I questioned looking in the overhead rear view mirror at him. "Being a couple in the front seat." He said as Y/N sucked her teeth moving my hand away looking back out the window.

"If you didn't want to see couples doing couple things. You should've never came simple" Tiffany stated as Sam looked at Tiffany. "I bet your new guy look like a gold fish" he said as Y/N just snickered. They then started arguing again as Y/N and I let out a frustrated sigh.

We finally made it to Manhattan meeting Tiffany's boyfriend at the restaurant. We walked into the restaurant waiting on a table as I was standing behind Y/N pulling her skirt down some from it riding up. She looked back at me and started moving her butt on me playfully as I chuckled and she giggled stopping.

There was a few open seats in the waiting area as I let Y/N sit down, Sam sat next to her and Tiffanys's friend sat down leaving Tiffany standing up. Y/N Then looked at Tiffany. "Nah baby this ain't gon work" Y/N simply started off about to say something to Tiffany's friend. "Tiffany sit here" Sam said getting Up moving next to me.

We finally got seated at a booth as Y/N was seated in the middle of Sam and i as Tiffany was across from us With her friend. "This is Jeremiah by the way" she stated off "this is Sam, Steve and my best friend Y/N.

"I know their names, it's nice to meet you all" He expressed with a big smile.

"You seem like more of a fan then her boyfriend" Sam started off "really Sam?!" Tiffany started off as we were interrupted by the waiter asking us what we wanted to drink. We went through the motions of dinner and soon the bill started coming out.

"Let's add it all up and split" Tiffany's friend suggested as Sam, Y/N and I looked at him weird. "Really?" I asked.

"He's just kidding" Tiffany said trying to laugh it off.

"You got the bill right?" He asked Tiffany as she looked hesitant by then just placed her card into the book for both their meals.

We heard a lot of commotion coming from the table across from us as we seen a man get on one knee to propose to his girlfriend. Tiffany immediately looked at Y/N as they shared a look with each other and I seen Y/N shake her head slowly as she looked down at her wallet and pulled out some change for the tip.

"I'll go start the car" she said placing her hand out for the keys. "You don't need to be out there by yourself" I simply stated. "It's manhattan I'll be straight, it's well lit" She said "seriously Steve" she said holding her hand out. "I'll go out there with her just bring my card out for me please?" Tiffany asked as they slid out the booths leaving.

Sam just looked at me the waiter then came giving us our cards back as Sam hurried and took Tiffany's.
