I turned in the bed as my eyes opened and I smiled thinking I was going to turn and see Steve but he wasn't there. "I'm going to beat his ass" I said to myself before getting in the shower. I got out continuing my hygiene routine then proceeded to do my make up and press out my hair.

Once I was done with my hair I got dressed in a nice strappy, tie dye dress. I placed on a pair of nice strappy heels to match.

I then got Autumn ready for her day that was planned to be with pepper while Steve and I took a day just to relax.

"You ready?" I asked Autumn in the midst of opening one of her toys I got for her yesterday while we were in Manhattan at the disney store. I gave her the toy and was about to walk out the room but pepper appeared with a smile. "You look nice" She expressed as I smiled. "Thank you" I thanked as she automatically took autumn out my arms.

"You do not have to worry about her me and Miss. Autumn is going to have a fun time" She said tickling autumn as she laughed. "And you need to have a good time too" She says touching my arm. "I will but Steve snuck out of bed when he was supposed to be relaxing" I said semi-pissed. "Uh oh" She said as I kissed Autumns head and went to get my purse.

I started going downstairs as I walked into the office where Steve, Natasha and Rhodes were all talking and working on finding Thanos. "Steve" I called out with my hands on my hips as Natasha and Steve looked at me then Steve looked back at Natasha like I called her name.

"Where you going?" Natasha asked smiling and looking me up and down. "I was taking Steve out today because he's not supposed to be working" I explained then looked at him. "No Seriously you do need to take a break cap" Rhodes interrupted as Natasha nodded agreeing.

"Let's go" I said holding my hand out as he grabbed it and Natasha pushed us out. We walked to the car as I opened the door and got in the drivers seat. "You don't want me to drive?" Steve questioned. "Nope, all expenses for today and everything is left to me" I explained as I closed my door watching him get in on the passengers side. "The least I can do is drive" he expressed. "Mmm Nah, I got it." I said placing on my sun glasses as he chuckled and looked away from me.

"You look nice" he expressed looking ahead as I pulled off.

"Thank you" I thanked "let's talk about this morning" I started off as he laid his head back on the head rest then chuckled. "I told you to rest today and instead you left and left pillows next to me like I wasn't going to know?" I brought up as we shared a laugh.

"I'm sorry" he apologized as I giggled "and then I when I said your name you looked at Nat like I called her name" I explained making him laugh even more. "See there goes the smile I love" I expressed touching his chin some as he faintly smiled. "Where are you taking me?" Steve asked looking over at me.

"Well I'm only telling you one thing which is the nail salon" I said. "The Nail salon?!" He questioned as I giggled. "Now before you start, I'm getting you pampered, you're not getting your nails painted just a manicure/pedicure" I explained as he made a face "is it going to hurt?" He questioned as I turned getting onto the highway.

"No your feet is just being scrubbed, rubbed and sat in water along with your toes being cut and cleaned. and your nails is being cut and cleaned too" I explained as he let out a breath of relief making me giggle. "You want your eyebrows waxed too?" I asked as he scrunched his eyebrows "no you're going over board now" he expressed. "Steve I'm giving you a whole facial when we get back you haven't seen over board yet" I stated making him chuckle.

"Just Relax and Enjoy your pamper" I said before pulling out my phone and turning on music that played throughout the car. "Shot Clock" by Ella Mai started playing as I sat my phone down continuing to drive back out to Manhattan.

I started singing lowly switching lanes as I felt Steve's hand on my thigh. I smiled some "what's going on?" I asked him. "What do you mean?" He asked. "Meaning what's going on in your head?" I asked curious. I heard Steve sigh some.

"I don't know I just can't get over me missing Your pregnancy, time we could've been spending together, time I could've been spending with Autumn and then with the team I feel if I take a break on looking for Thanos then I'm giving up on everyone that has disappeared" he expressed.

"Steve" I started off doing a soft sigh "I forgave you already for not being here for the pregnancy, now it's time for you to forgive yourself. you thought what you did at the time was right and I thought what I did at the time was right. On my end I felt like I should've told you but I didn't which was wrong" I expressed.

"We were both wrong, I should've signed the accords because I placed our relationship in jeopardy" He Said before I looked at him then the road.

"Yeah but baby you have to start enjoying the now and stop dwelling in the past and your past mistakes because if you keep doing that you're going to miss the now. and I know everything isn't like what it used to be but we have to make the best of it until it's back to usual" I explained.

"I know you're missing Peggy too" I stated as I felt him look at me and I smiled. "It's okay to miss her Steve just because we're together doesn't mean you can't miss the love of your life. I'm not going to interfere with that because those are your feelings and they're very special to you, if you ever had the chance to be with her I would definitely let you go be with her" I expressed truthfully with a small smile. Steve faintly smiled "how did you know? How do you know what to say in these moments?!"Steve asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked in a giggle "every time we have a serious talk like this, You know exactly what to say to make me feel better. How?" He questioned. "The same way you know what to say and how to say it to me in these moments" I said as I faintly smiled. "So the real question is how do you know what to say to me in these moments? How do you know exactly what's bothering me without me even saying a word sometimes?" I asked as he looked over at me and faintly smiled.

"I care for you, your well-being and I love you so I make sure you hear exactly what you need to hear straight from the heart" He explained as I smiled and felt him grab my hand. I rubbed his skin softly with my thumb.

We made it to the city two hours later as we got breakfast then went to my favorite nail shop. Once we were done there we did some shopping for Steve. We got lunch then just walked around doing random things that we were able to do in the city.

"Let me get the keys" Steve said as I looked at him "no it's supposed to be your day, I do all the driving" I said "I'm serious I want to take you somewhere" he stated as I just handed him the keys. We got back in the car as he started driving through minimal traffic.

We soon pulled up infront of the NYC courthouse. "What you doing, turning yourself in?" I joked as he chuckled. "Come on" he said as we got out the car. He grabbed my hand as we walked up the stairs going into the courtroom. We went through metal detectors before actually getting to the front desk.

"How may I help you two?" The man at the desk asked with a warm smile. "We wanted to get married" I heard Steve say as I looked over at him "usually we don't do walk ins but since it's empty we'll have someone marry you two" he informed before calling someone.

"You ready?" Steve asked as I still stood there kind of shocked. "Yeah" I said in a giggle. We went into a courtroom going through the motions of the justice of the peace wedding ceremony. It ended in us kissing and signing our marriage certificates. We walked out the courthouse happy as hell we then went to a jewelry shop looking at wedding bands for each other.

We picked our wedding bands out as I bought his and he bought mine. We got in the car sliding it on each other's fingers. "We got eloped" Steve said making me laugh but it was the truth.
