《Fated • Namgi [✔️]》2

The next day, Namjoon was called down to the station. He was hesitant on going, not wanting to be bothered with more work. He already had enough on his hands, so this was a definite detour. He was quietly taken to the station, arriving in twenty minutes from his home. The sound of people talking and discussing things filled his ears. People's shoes tapped the floor impatiently.
Greeted by a female officer, he was taken to a different room almost immediately. There sat a man and the boy from the day before. His eyes were puffy and red, holding himself in a ball in the seat across the man. He wore a white turtleneck with white pants. The blue glints in his eyes shimmering brightly among the brown. He was indeed human, but not 100%.
Namjoon was greeted once he walked in, and the boy ran up to him, hugging his torso tightly. He was mumbling something he couldn't quite make out. Namjoon, confused and somewhat annoyed, looked towards the man, who looked stressed. He sighed, waving for Namjoon to come sit down.
The boy, though, didn't budge from his hold, and that made Namjoon getting to his seat extremely difficult. He asked the boy if he'd let go for a minute, but he seemed just as stubborn as he was. Namjoon eventually sat down, the boy had being too tired to hang on any longer sitting by his side in the same, balled up position as earlier.
"He's being really uncooperative, Mr. Namjoon, and he hasn't moved until, well, you showed up. It was a hassle getting those clothes on, and he wouldn't stop crying."
"Sir, I did not come to listen to your complaints. If you have nothing good to say I will be taking my leave," Namjoon snapped. The man looked at him before at the boy. Another sigh was given, and he stared at Namjoon.
"Have you heard about the legend regarding this boy?"
"Yes, but I chose never to believe it."
"Well, as you can see, it was... real. It said that when he touches hands with his soulmate, he'll become human, yes?"
"I don't you need to repeat it. Is it able for him to turn back to stone and I won't have to deal with him?"
The boy made a sudden move, kicking back his seat. Namjoon and the man were surprised to see this outburst. A guard came in, seemingly going for the boy, but he knew how to fight. The guard was down in a matter of seconds, leaving the two others astonished.
"N-no! You cannot turn m-me back to stone! I'm not g-going back to that s-state!" The boy stuttered, looking at Namjoon. He hurt the boys heart, most likely. The boy looked down at the officer before crouching down, and a blue light emitted from his hands. The guard was up in a matter of seconds, in shock. The boys blue glints had seemingly faded.

"O-once I touch h-hands with my soulmate, I s-stay with them forever." The boy looked away from the guard to Namjoon. His eyes were tearing up again, and Namjoon's heart twisted with a small amount of regret. The boy sent the officer off before returning back to his seat. He didn't speak, but instead closed his eyes, as if he wasn't there. Namjoon looked towards the man before he stood up, waving him out.
The two made way to the hallway, shutting the door. It was quiet apart from the hum of the lights heard. Namjoon sighed.
"Mr. Namjoon, we can't do anything about him. If what he said was true, he's to stay with you for the rest of your life."
"There's really no getting out of this, is there?"
"I afraid not. Plus, I believe staying with him is a benefit. He can take down and heal anyone he chooses, he's certainly a unique being."
"He's not human. With all due respect, sir, I don't want a potential danger living under my roof."
"Mr. Namjoon, did he not say he will not return to his statue state? That does not mean he cannot. Let us work on something that will return him back and he'll be out of your hands."
Namjoon weighed this option. There were plenty of pros, but huge cons. What if they never figured anything out? He didn't want to live with a human that wasn't much human. He sighed, though, for he trusted the authorities to figure it out quickly. Agreeing, he opened the door, looking at the boy.
"Do you know his name?"
"He hasn't said-"
"Yoongi. M-min Yoongi," the boy stuttered, looking at him. The blue glints had returned. Namjoon looked at the boy before waving him over. Almost immediately, arms were wrapped around his torso tightly. The man chuckled, walking Namjoon out of the station and to his car.
Namjoon got into his car, his driver ready to go. Yoongi got into the back seat, looking around. He was like a child, except older. The car started driving, and halfway through the drive Namjoon felt his shoulder being tapped. He glanced back at Yoongi, who was staring right at him.
"Can I hold your hand?"
"I guess," Namjoon sighed, reaching his hand around his seat. Yoongi's hand held his warmly, the grip just a little bit tight. The grip was loosened right as they arrived at Namjoon's home. Namjoon thanked his driver and got out, closing his eyes. Yoongi, though, appeared right at his side immediately, surprising Namjoon.
"You sure are fast."
"I just k-know when you're troubled."
"Is that so? Do you know what I'm troubled about?"
"That's n-not something I can figure out un-unless it's said directly," Yoongi stuttered, staring up at Namjoon. Namjoon sighed, beginning to walk towards his home. He still had work to do, but of course that was going to be put off.

After a few hours had passed since Yoongi's arrival at Namjoon's home, the doorbell was sounded, scaring Yoongi out of his sleep. Namjoon, who had been in the kitchen, walked over to the front door and answered it. Jimin stood there, trying to look over Namjoon's shoulder. It was clear what his objective was.
Namjoon, though, was not letting him inside until he spoke the truth of why he was there. Jimin sighed, admitting that he was there to see the boy. Namjoon reluctantly let him in, and Jimin was already looking around for Yoongi.
"In the living room, Jimin," Namjoon said. In a flash, Jimin was there, looking at Yoongi. The boy stared back at him with a confused look on his face. Jimin introduced himself, but the boy stayed quiet. Namjoon walked in with a cup of tea, setting it down on the table.
"Is he usually this quiet?"
"He hasn't spoke since he's entered my home, but I'm not sure."
"Alright.. do you know his name?"
"Yoongi," the boy answered quietly. Jimin stared back at him.
"Yoonie?"
Yoongi smiled towards him, shaking his head. He repeated his name, and Jimin decided to tease him, making the boy fill with happiness and laughter. The blue glints in his eyes shimmering brightly.
Jimin sat down on the table despite all the complaints from Namjoon.
"You know who he is? Namjoon. A big meanie."
"Jimin! That isn't true, I'm not mean."
"Joonie isn't mean, just in denial," Yoongi answered. Namjoon stared at him, eyes wide while Jimin rolled on the floor, laughing with his eyes closed.
"Joonie! Oh my gosh, Yoongi, you're so cute," Jimin said, wiping his tears from laughing and looked at Yoongi. Namjoon, though, had the opposite effect and filled with disappointment. Jimin turned towards his friend, only to find him not there. Yoongi, too, felt uneasy.
"Joonie is mad..." Yoongi trailed off, looking down. Realization had came to him that Namjoon was probably mad at him. Jimin stood up, ruffling Yoongi's hair and going to find Namjoon. In the kitchen, he saw his friend pouring himself some tea. The table had his laptop open, work files opened.
"Namjoon, ya good?"
"I'd prefer to be alone." Namjoon finished pouring his tea and sipped it. Jimin looked at him mutter what Yoongi had said.
"What Yoongi said was true, you're sorta in denial. Plus... Joonie, it's cute," Jimin said, chuckling at the end. Namjoon turned towards him.
"Jimin, I don't want him here. I need to get to the office, but I can't leave him here alone!"
"Then take him with you, Namjoon. Treat him well. You're living with him for the rest of your life, after all."
"No, Jimin, I'm not. The authorities are working on solving how to get him back to his statue figure."
"What?!" Jimin yelled, waving his arms out in protest. "How could you do that to him?"
"I don't want him, do you understand?"
"He's your soulmate, Namjoon, he's yours!"
In a flash, Yoongi stood in front of Namjoon, hand holding his raised arm. Jimin couldn't believe his eyes. How could that boy move so fast? Namjoon tried to pull his arm away, but Yoongi didn't let go, and instead his grip got tighter.
"Anyone with intentions to hurt or kill someone in my presence will be stopped, including you," Yoongi said, staring up at Namjoon, "as much as I love you, if you are to harm Jimin or anyone else I will stop you."
Jimin melted onto the floor. "Yoongi, you are such an angel."
Yoongi let go of Namjoon's hand, turning back towards Jimin. He smiled, his laughter filling the room. Jimin smiled towards the boy, standing up. Namjoon, though, was dismayed. He didn't want to hurt Jimin? How did Yoongi know? Namjoon had been zoning out that he didn't notice Jimin shaking the boy, who had supposedly fallen onto him.
"Ey, Yoongi, I know I'm beautiful but I need ya to get off me."
"Jimin, hands off him."
As instructed, Jimin stopped shaking the boy and looked up at Namjoon. He took Yoongi, picking him up and looked at him. He was asleep, no doubt.
"Did you see his eyes before he fell asleep?"
"You mean the blue glints? They weren't there."
"Interesting.. I'm guessing that he has a certain amount of energy he can use before passing out. No wonder he slept for so long until you arrived," Namjoon said, thinking about it for a minute. Jimin sighed, standing up and dusting himself off before looking at his friend.
"Namjoon, he's a keeper. Take care of him."
Jimin waved goodbye and left the home, leaving Namjoon there to hold Yoongi in his arms. Namjoon stared down at the boy, surprised he was as light as a feather. He breathes deeply and soundly, humming every time he exhaled. It got worse to Namjoon when the boy snuggled up against his chest.
Immediately, Namjoon started towards the guest room. Up the stairs he walked slowly, careful not to wake the sleeping boy. He found the room and kicked open the door softly, looking around. He grabbed the blanket - just barely holding Yoongi - and set the boy down before pulling the blanket over him. He headed towards the door before hearing a quiet whisper, he turned back, seeing Yoongi peering over the blanket.
Hesitant, he walked back over, crouching down and looking at the boy.
"Thank you, Joonie."
"I'm just doing it because you needed it. Rest well," Namjoon said, standing up to leave, but Yoongi held onto his sleeve.
"Nighttime kiss?"
"I beg your pardon?"
"Nighttime," Yoongi pointed towards his forehead, "kiss."
"No. I'm sorry. Goodnight." Namjoon pulled his arm away from Yoongi, leaving the boy alone. It wasn't long before he fell asleep again.
