《Dangerously ~Chris Evans~✅》SEVENTEEN

It had been 3 weeks since Livie had seen Chris. 3 Long weeks. She wasn't used to missing someone the way she did him. After their last weekend together, she felt closer to him than she ever had anyone. Here she was 29 years old and in her first real relationship. Chris worked crazy hours while filming, while Livie was her regular 8-5. He almost always didn't answer when she called, and she found herself usually trying to stay awake long enough for a late-night call.
The summer that felt like it would never end was finally beginning to cool off as September slipped by and October began. Livie loved October, she loved Halloween. One Friday evening she got off work later than usual. She was starving but knew like always she had no food in her fridge or pantry closet. She called JJ but didn't get an answer. She assumed she was with Sebastian. Livie was still trying to figure out what the 2 of them were. It appeared that they hung out a lot and she knew they made out all the time. They hadn't slept together as far as Livie knew. She assumed her best friend would tell her when and if that happened.
Livie tried to call Dex next but his phone went straight to voicemail. She sighed and dialed Seb last. He didn't answer either and she frowned unhappily. With the slightest bit of hope she called Chris and surprise, surprise, got his voicemail too. She really didn't want to go home to an empty house and she didn't want to get food alone either. Debating for only a split second before she could change her mind she dialed Chace.
"Liv?" He answered on the 3rd ring.
"Chace!" She was surprised when he answered. "What are you doing right now?"
"About to grab dinner."
"Oh, with Tessa?" Livie groaned silently.
"No, not with Tessa."
"Oh....with who?" She asked curiously.
"No one just myself actually."
"Want some company?"
"Sure." He agreed, another surprise for Livie. "Want me to come to you or you come to me?"
"Where are you?"
"About a block from my place."
"I'll come to you. See you in 30." She disconnected the call and hailed a cab.
Chace and Livie grabbed dinner at one of their favorite pizza places. She was a little afraid it might be awkward, but it wasn't. They were laughing and joking like they used too, before anything had happened between them.
"I'm glad you called." Chace admitted taking a sip of his beer. "I've missed you."

"I've missed you too." Livie confessed. "I'm sorry for hurting you."
Chace held up his hand and shook his head, "It's ok."
Livie smiled warmly as her phone started buzzing in her bag.
"It's Chris." She looked at Chace, "You mind if I take this?"
Chace shook his head no and Livie accepted the call. She stood up and walked towards the front of the pizza place stepping outside to talk.
Chace sighed and finished off his beer. Yes, he was happy Livie called but he still had feelings for her. He wouldn't tell her; he would just let her think he was over her. It was less complicated that way. Not speaking to her for the past couple weeks had been hard, too hard. So he would take what he could get.
"I was thinking," Chris said into the phone, "You could come to Boston next weekend."
"Oh Chris I'm not sure." Livie said her voice uncertain.
"Come on. You can stay with me. If you're not comfortable meeting the family you don't have too. But I'm going crazy not being with you. If you take Monday off work you can make it a 3 day weekend. We wouldn't even have to leave my house. Unless you want too. There is going to be a bonfire at my sister's house and we usually have a good time. But no pressure to go there."
Livie considered it for a moment but a weekend in Boston sounded wonderful. And she too was going crazy not seeing Chris. "Ok. I'll come." She agreed.
"YES!" Chris cheered.
Livie laughed. "OK ok Silly boy I should go. I'm in the middle of dinner."
"Oh with JJ?"
"Yes." Livie lied even though she didn't know why. Chris would be ok with her seeing Chace, right? "But promise me you will answer when I call you back in an hour."
"I promise, I'm done for the night." He vowed.
"Ok, bye." She said softly before pulling the door to the pizza parlor open and going back to join Chace.
Livie ended up taking the following Friday and Monday off from work, making it a 4-day weekend in Boston. She rented a car and headed north leaving the city behind her. She was grateful when the 4 plus hour car ride was over. She pushed the car door open and climbed out stretching her legs.
The front door of Chris's breathtaking farmhouse opened and she saw Chris's huge smile. She smiled back shutting the car door.

Dodger pushed through Chris's legs eager to greet whoever had just pulled up.
"Dodger!" Chris scolded him. He didn't care though he raced towards Livie his tail wagging excitedly.
"Hello." Livie crouched down steadying herself so Dodger didn't knock her over. "You must be Dodger. You are much cuter in person."
Chris called for Dodger again and he finally retreated to him.
"You're much cuter in person too." Livie smiled as Chris walked up to her taking her into his arms.
"Am I?" He gave her a dazzling smile before pressing his lips to hers.
"I've missed you so much." She said once they pulled apart.
"Your bags in the trunk?" He asked.
She nodded as she popped the trunk so he could grab her bag.
"Come on." He grabbed her hand and led her into the house.
As soon as the door was shut behind them Chris dropped her bag and spun around, gently backing Livie up to the door he pressed himself against her. Taking one hand he placed it on her lower back pulling her hips closer to his. His other hand resting on the door above her head.
Live took a deep breath. It only took his lips grazing her jaw down to her neck before she relaxed into him allowing him to slide her shirt off over her head. He tugged at her pants causing her to giggle when he couldn't unhook the buttons.
"Might need a little help here." He looked up at her.
She grinned and effortlessly unbutton the pants. He stopped before her pants could drop to the floor.
"Uh-Uh. You're to beautiful for me to take you against the door, although I would love that." He wiggled his eyebrows at her. He intertwined their fingers and pulled her towards his room. She didn't have time to even get a glimpse of his home. They were in the bedroom seconds later and she wasted no time helping him out of his clothes.
Laying lazily in his bed 45 minutes later they talked in detail about everything that had been going on since they had last seen each other. Livie enjoyed hearing about his life on set. She had been on set with Seb before and Chace and she always found it pretty exciting to see the behind scenes look. In the middle of Chris's story about a particular scene he was shooting Livie's stomach growled loudly.
"Whoa!" Chris poked her bare stomach teasingly. "I guess I should feed you."
"Well I didn't stop for lunch." She rolled her eyes.
"Do you want to go out to eat? Or stay in?"
"Let's go out. On a date." Livie sat up pulling the blanket with her.
"Your wish is my command." Chris kissed her shoulder tenderly.
Chris grabbed his clothes from the bedroom floor and pulled them back on but Livie wanted something clean after being in the car all day.
She decided on some skinny jeans and a black silk cami with a rose-colored cardigan over it.
She touched up her makeup and pulled the clip from her hair allowing her dark hair to fall in waves to her shoulders.
"You are so beautiful." Chris came up behind her.
"Thank you." Her eyes met his in the mirror.
"I'm serious. You are by far the most stunning woman I've ever seen."
Livie blushed, "And you are by far the sweetest man I've ever met."
"No, just honest." He flashed a smile at her, "Now come on let's go get some food in your stomach, yeah?"
After their dinner date the sky turned dark and they could hear thunder rumbling.
"What is it with us and thunderstorms?" Chris asked as he led the way to his car.
Livie was about to reply when the sky opened up and within moments, they were both drenched to the core.
"You've got to be kidding." Chris shrieked as they darted towards his car. Livie was chattering her cardigan damp and heavy on her. The air outside seemed to cool down immensely.
Chris pulled out of the parking lot of the restaurant but the rain was coming down so hard he couldn't see.
"Change of plans." He carefully navigated the car onto a back road. 5 minutes later they pulled up to a gorgeous white, 2-story, colonial home. The rain was still pounding onto the roof of the car.
"Where are we?" Livie was still chattering trying to warm her hands in front of the heater.
"My mom's." He gave her a charming smile. He pulled a hooded sweatshirt out from his backseat. "You can put this on once we get inside." He balled it up and shoved it under his shirt.
Livie laughed at him but then looked back to the house. "Your mom's?" She squeaked.
Chris nodded, "I know I told you we wouldn't come if you didn't feel ready but the ride back to my place will probably be a little dangerous with this rain."
Livie nodded apprehensively.
"Don't be nervous. They will love you." He promised her, "How could they not?"
