"Do you really think that our plan did work? " Keshav asked me as I parked the car outside the studio.
I sighed looking up, "I don't know, Keshu. Let just.. Hope for the best. " We got out from car and entered the building. "But how do you know about that room? "
"Just came across it." Keshu shrugged.
"That Ankita idea was superb, huh. Venky got a sharp mind there. " I pointed and Keshav laughed, "Yeah right. But you and Venky did a studio thing someday back and it backfired? "
"Very badly. " I shook my head remembering that day when Sanam walked away with Natasha.
"Samar baba, aapne jaise bola tha maine kiya. Room band hai aur lights bhi." The guard who helped us to execute the plan told us.
"Thank you, dada. But kisi ko pata to nahi chala na? " I asked and he shook his head. Keshav and I exchanged our victory look.
"Ah thik.. Hum andar jaa rahe hai. If we don't get back just check on us once, okay? "
He nodded and we walked towards the room.
"Lights off karne ki kya zaroorat thi? You knew that-"
"Warisha is scared of dark? " I completed Keshav's sentence.
"Yeah.. Phir kyu? "
I leaned my shoulder on wall looking at Keshu and he stood too, "Didn't you notice that Sanam and Warisha have shared most of their beautiful moments either locked somewhere or darkness. Sometimes both." I smiled.
Keshav smiled as if he realized, "Yeah.. Yeah right. They were locked in clock tower. "
"The best thing that happened to them. " I smiled.
"And then the closet. " he further added and I nodded, "You're getting there and I did one extra thing. "
"What? "
"I don't know woh kam kiya hoga ya nahi. But I kept alcohol inside. "
Keshav chuckled, "You didn't do that! " he held my shoulder playing and I grinned, "I did. "
"You did everything to remind them their past huh? Locked, Dark, alcohol. Aur kuch chora? " Keshav laughed and so did I.
We stood in front of the door, heaving a sigh I looked at Keshu, "I hope it worked. "
"Same. You go inside. I'm here. Just by chance. " he reasoned and I nodded opening the door a little. "Ah switch! "
"I'll get that! " Keshav said turning on the lights and giving a thumbs up. I stepped inside the room and the first thing I saw was the only thing that I wanted to see, Warisha sleeping peacefully in my brothers arm. Just seeing the sight of them made me smile. I walked to them. They were sleeping like old days. Sanam's arms holding her safely and Warisha sleeping peacefully. I clicked the picture sending it to others. After all, we all worked so much on this plan.

"Sanam? " I shook him lightly, "Sanam? "
He flickered his eyes, "Samar.. Is that you? " he mumbled.
"It's me. "
"Thank God tu aagaya, " He said sleepily, "We-" he stopped and looked at Warisha who was still sleeping. He smiled looking at her and brushed her hair off her face but that smile faded slowly and he got out from her embrace careful enough not to wake her up. He sat straight and then stood up, "We came here for practice but the door had broken lock and we got stuck in here.. Tune door kyu band kiya? " he freaked finding the door closed again, "Ab tu-"
"Keshu is outside, don't worry. " I informed.
"Tumlogo ko kaise pata chala that we are here. "
I smiled thinking, Kyuki humlog hi hai reason that you are here. "Woh... We thought tu... Aur Warisha kahi GAYE HOGE, ditching the recording and raat me bhi nahi aaye. So, we thought tumdono k beech sab thik hogaya hai. " Listening my story, Sanam narrowed his eyes suspiciously and I continued to make my story more believable, "Umm.. Then hum abhi yaha aaye to, everyone was asking about the singers, you and her."
"Phir? "
"Phir? " I smiled, "Phir Vinod da aaye to ask if we need something and we jokingly said, we need Sanam and Warisha. And that's when he remembered about this and we are here! " I sighed with a grin, "We are here. "
Sanam pressed his lips together, "Story to believable hai but phir bhi mujhe daal me kuch kaala lag raha. "
"Must be sambaar. " I joked and he glared. Changing the topic I said: "Warisha ko uthate hai. "
"Nahi! " he quickly stopped.
"Kyu? "
"She won't wake up." He shook his head.
With wide eyes I asked, "What do you mean by 'she won't wake up'? Tune gusse me uska murder to nahi kardiya? " I joked looking at her direction with scared face.
"Samar, seriously? " Sanam gave me a straight look.
I stood straight, "Acha sorry. But why won't she wake up? " I asked sincerely.
"We were hungry and didn't have anything to eat, So, " he pointed at the half empty bottle of white wine. "Not being sober looked only option. " The looking at me suspiciously he said, "I still wonder, who kept a WINE bottle in here. Interesting no? "
I chuckled, "Um.. Agar Warisha uthegi nahi to hum use bahar kaise le jaayenge? " I asked dodging his question.
"Woh nahi uthegi, hum use uthaenge." He gave me a straight smile. I raised brows confusedly, "huh? "
He turned and picked her up in his arm carefully, "Aise. "
"Oh. Okay. "
"Chal. "
I nodded walking towards the door with a big smile, "Keshu! Darwaza khol. Ke-"

"Soundproof, Samar." Sanam reminded me standing behind.
"Oh. Bhool gaya tha. " I mumbled taking my cell out and dialing Keshu's number, "Haa Keshu, Open the door. " and next second the door creaked open.
"Is she okay? " Keshu freaked seeing Sanam carrying Warisha.
"She just pass out because of.. Locked and all. " I covered up.
"Oh."
Some walking by people gathered curiously. Someone asking what they were doing there, some with how they are and 2-3 people really cared why was Warisha unconscious.
"Just get out from here." Sanam mumbled.
Vinod and Amit told people to get back to their own work and asked if we need help.
"We are just taking her home. She'll be fine. " I said, "Sanam? You can carry her or may I? "
"I'm fine, Samar."
We got in lift and Keshav and I were not able to hide her smile at the way Sanam was looking at an unconscious Warisha in his arm.
"Everything okay, Sanam? " Keshav asked but he didn't respond. I winked at Keshu and he gave me another thumbs up.
The door slide open and we stepped out followed by Sanam.
"Uhm.. " Warisha mumbled.
"Sunrays. " Sanam said.
We stopped there for a moment and Warisha opened her eyes.
"Uhm.. Light." She snuggled closed to Sanam, hiding her face to escape the light. Keshav and I giggled seeing Sanam. He cleared his throat hinting us to behave.
"What.. " Warisha confusedly mumbled and then she gasped looking at Sanam. "Sanam! Owh! Light.. My head. " she cried.
"Hey, it's okay. " Sanam consoled her.
"Uhm.. I'm getting the car. " Keshu said excusing himself.
"Do you need any help ya main jaun? " I asked Sanam. He gave me a curt nod and taking that as a sign I followed Keshu.
The sun rays were hurting my eyes and my head was throbbing and finding myself in Sanam's arm didn't make it any better.
What am I doing in his arms?
What the hell happened last night?
"You're okay? " he asked.
"Yeah? " I let my mind register his words, "Yeah, I'm okay. Put.. put me down. "
"That's not a nice idea." He disagreed walking further.
"Sanam, please. Put me down." I said sternly. He nodded, "Okay. If that's what you want." He said while keeping me back on my feet. Owh! My body is terribly numb! I grasp his arm for support and he smirked, "Told ya'. It wasn't a nice idea. "
"I can help myself! " I said, "You don't have to... " I stopped him as he tried to pick me again.
"Fine! Help yourself! " he smiled sarcastically moving away. I stumbled, "Sanam! "
He chuckled turning back, "I thought you were helping yourself."
I sighed looking sideways, "Just.. Help me to walk. My head's kinda heavy and.. Throbbing."
"That's call, hangover. " he offered me his hand and I accepted it, "I told you not to drink but-"
"I did."
"Yeah, you did."
And can you please enlighten me what I did after that? I hope that I didn't do something silly or behaved a crying baby, begging him to come back. I really hope I didn't.
"What are you thinking? "
"About last night." I answered absent mindedly walking out with his help.
He turned towards me quickly, "Do you remember everything? " he looked... happy.
"Uh.. I, I remember? " I said unsurely.
"Do you? " he asked with an hopeful smile, holding my forearms. I was looking at him. Why is he so excited to know if I remember about last night or not.
"Say, you do? "
"I do."
He hugged me instantly that came as a surprise to me. "Warisha... " I could sense his happiness in his voice, "Thank you. Thank you for remembering everything. Thank you." He held me closely.
I kept my hand on his back, "I remember. " I mumbled. I felt a knot in stomach for lying to him. I felt that I was breaking his trust.
"You do." He pressed his lips on my hair, "I'm so happy. So, so, so happy. "
Ignoring my all guilt and sick feeling for lying to him, I looked after his happiness.
Everything is fair in love and war. If this lie is bringing me back to my love then... But it's wrong. It's wrong.
"Sanam." I buried my face over his shoulder. I don't know what to do but I don't wanna loose you again. I'm sorry.
"It's fine. Everything if fine now."
I nodded looking at him.
He smiled interlacing our hands, "Let's go."
I smiled with teary eyes. Did I really got him back?
"Hey, " he kept his palm on my cheek, "No more tears now. " he smiled wiping my tears, "All happiness. "
I nodded again. We walked out from studio. He seemed very happy. He was smiling, looking at me lovingly like before but my guilt of lying to him was making me uncomfortable. It wasn't a simple lie. It was a lie that's the reason why I got him back. I lied when I didn't even know what the truth was.
What is it that he wanted me to remember. I ran my hand over my hair tugging it lightly. What is it?
"Warisha, you okay? " he asked bringing me out of my thoughts. "Huh? " I looked around and realised that we were standing in front of their car.
"You're okay? " he asked again.
"Yeah." I exhaled, "I'm fine." I said softly with a weak smile.
"You're lying." He narrowed his eyes at me. I gulped the lump in my throat. I knew ise pata chal jayega. Now I'm going to loose him again.

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
