2020 was difficult for everyone, 2021 was not much easier. I'm in a luckier position than most, I wasn't as affected as many, however to say that it was business as usual is also not true.

There's been changes in my personal life as well and real life activities meant that writing stories was placed on the back burner. It didn't help that I was struggling to keep things fresh, evolving the stories etc. Not everyone was happy with the direction I was heading in and even though writers know (as well as other artists, in fact many people of all walks of life) that you can please some people some of the time, but not everyone all of the time, I still felt doubt and began to second guess myself.

With this book, I decided to drop some of what I planned (which needed several build up chapters that I hadn't figured out prior to that anyway) and steam ahead in a new direction with a little help from the fast forward button. But I am not one for the old 'time skip' phrase, so I made the decision to round this book off, before starting a new one on Wattpad. On Webnovel, it will be part of the same book, like Still Learning to Live as a Cultivator is part of Learning to Live as a Cultivator.

In doing this, I've had a great deal of inspiration and have even written a few chapters.

As for SLTLAC, I'll figure that out in due course.

I hope this makes sense and hope that although the book ending may be a bit abrupt, I firmly believe doing this is for the best.
