Thank you so much fo this amazing cover, and also thanks for the appreciation :D
I was sitting in the audience at Cooperage Football Ground watching my dearest wife play football as the captain of the Diamond club in the match of Diamond Club Vs. Phoenix Club.
The time of the match had ended and it was the time for penalty shootout. It was Nishtha's turn. If she succeeded then Diamond Club would win the match, and if not then the shootout would continue.
She looked as focused as ever. She was on her mark, looking directly in the eyes of the goalkeeper. Her gaze was so powerful that the goalkeeper gulped getting nervous and she smirked.
And 1...2...3... GOAL !!!!
"Yessss !!!!" I shouted as I stood up to clap for my wifey. The whole stadium was cheering her... well except Phoenix Club fans.
"You go girl !" Everyone shouted. She looked so happy. Her happy face instantly brought a smile on my face. Suddenly she looked around the stadium, maybe to find me. Finally, her eyes landed on me. She blew a flying kiss in my direction which I reciprocated.
I was so proud of her.
I went and waited for her outside the locker room. She exited the room in no time.
"We won !!!!!!" She squeaked and hugged me tightly.
"Yayyyy !!! I'm so proud of you !" I said and kissed her forehead. She gave an eye to eye grin and was about to kiss me but I moved back.
"Hey hey hey ! Remember no public display of affection !" I scolded.
"But forehead kisses are also PDA only." She said making a cute innocent face and I smiled sheepishly. She quickly pecked my lips.
"Hey !" I said with a shocked expression.
"What ! No one saw us !" She said with a smile.
"You're gonna get punished for that... you know that right?" I said in a husky voice.
"Ohhhh I loveeeeee your punishments!" She said and wrapped her arms around my neck.
"You're getting more and more kinky day by day." I said putting a strand of her hair behind her ear.
"It's all your fault honey!" She said shaking her head and I chuckled at her behaviour.
"Now let's go home, we have to get ready for the party." I said being the mature one here.
"Oh darling... I can't wait to get home!" She said with a smirk. Oh how bold she has gotten.
She held my hand and grinned at me and then we started walking towards the car.
My memory was back. My medication was still going on but I was better than ever now. And yeah, I also remembered about my miscarriage and I was devastated. I cried and cried and cried but not alone in a dark room but in the arms of my love.
Today was the success party of PaNi group of companies as it had made its way in the Forbes list of world's top 25 companies.
I hadn't faced the press since a long time. I had somewhat become afraid of such events because in the last party which we organised, I was humiliated and then I had that accident. I was nervous as fuck.

We entered our apartment. It was my home sweet home now. I was quite tired due to the football game.
"I wanna sleep !" I whined.
"No no not at all ! If you'll go to sleep now you'll directly wake up after 4 hours, I know you very well." Paras said filling up a glass of water.
"You're so bad!" I said a an angry cute baby voice.
"But still you love me." He said and kissed me on my cheeks.
"Whatever... Now go get ready !" I said as I pushed him inside our room.
"I'm taking a shower. You sure you don't wanna join?" He said with his signature smirk plastered on his face. And I just gave him my signature weird smile which meant 'shut up or I'll kill you'.
I also took shower after he was done. The make up artist was called at our home only because this time I and Paras were going to leave for the venue together.
In no time, the make up artist was here. She did my hair and make up quickly and left. I was staring at myself in the mirror when Paras entered the room.
"You look gorgeous." He said and I smiled. I got up and started to walk towards him but my foot slipped and I was about to fall but he held my hand.
"Careful." He whispered. I just walked closer to him and hugged him tightly.
"I said that you're looking gorgeous." He repeated but in a more husky voice this time, his breath fanning on my ear.
"Tell me something I don't know." I whispered in his ear and we shared a good laugh.
We both looked something like this:
After a while, we left for the venue together. The whole ride I was reading my speech over and over again so as to not make any mistake at the party.
I could feel Paras's gaze on me but he wasn't saying a word, neither was I. He knew how nervous I was because of the previous episode.
After reaching the venue, the second we stepped out of the car, paparazzi surrounded us, which made me eve more nervous.
Suddenly I heard a reporter say," Are you going to run away from this party as well?" Then someone else said," Why couldn't you just be happy for your husband?" What the fuck?
Paras gave them a death glare which was enough to shut their mouths. But we both knew that his angry young man expression was going to be on the front page of the newspaper tomorrow. He held my hand and led me inside.
As soon as we entered the hall, we greeted family and friends. And then the moment had come where I had to go there on the stage and SPEAK. I didn't really have stage fear but the events that had taken place in the previous party were haunting me. I knew everyone was going to look at me continuously and their eyes would say 'she's going to run away again'.
I was shivering a bit and was imagining what would happen if I messed it up on stage. Just then I felt a hand caressing my back, that comforting hand. I turned around to meet Paras's worried eyes. He noticed my expressions.

He brought his fingers close to his lips and gestured me to smile. I faked a smile and started to walk towards the stage but he held my hand.
"Although I will never leave your hand our entire lives, but for now I will not leave your hand until you smile for real." This really brought a real smile to my face and seeing me smile, he grinned to.
He was still holding my hand, I gestured him to leave it but instead he pulled me in a hug and gave the audience a good show.
"Everything will be great." He said caressing my hair.
"Everything IS great, because you are by my side." I stepped away and said. Then I started to walk towards the staged, I looked back just once and saw Paras muttering 'All the best' and showing me a thumbs up which made me smile even more.
I went on the stage and placed my paper on the dias. I opened the paper and everything just looked blurry. When I lifted my gaze I couldn't see anyone because of the light. Just then the events of the last party started playing like a movie in my mind.
"No no Nishtha, you have to do this." I said to myself and remembered all the good times spent with Paras. It instantly filled me up with confidence. I folded the paper and kept it aside because I didn't need it anymore. I just had to be myself.
I switched the mic on and cleared my throat to grab everyone's attention. As instructed, the technician dimmed the lights.
"A very good evening to everyone. I'm Nishtha Obeoi Singhania, the CEO of Oberoi Enterprises, PaNi group of companies. I welcome you today to the success party of PaNi group of companies on behalf of my dear husband Paras Singhania, the CEO of Singhania and Co, PaNi group of companies and our family." I looked at Paras and our family and smiled.
Just then people started whispering things. Especially people from the press. And their comments were loud enough to be heard by me. They all were like 'she's gonna run away again'.
"Just to let you know, I can hear every word that you people are saying, so you might want to consider lowering your volume just a bit." I said with a big smile on my face. Embarrassment rushed to the faces of those who were speaking ill about me. Paras had a proud look on his face.
"I know what you all are thinking. You are thinking that I'll run away from this party too. But why would I? Today PaNi group has made it to the Forbes list of world's top 25 companies. I, my husband and our 185598 employees, from the security guards to the managing director have worked day and night to make this possible." Everyone clapped.
"I have gone through a lot and so has my husband. You all read news and many of you present here are responsible for publishing it, so you all know about it all. After going through all of that, I and my husband stand head strong in front of you all, together, that's what we are all about, that's what PaNi is all about. I'm really proud of both of us and our employees, together we have taken PaNi group of companies to such a great height. We've have made our families proud." There was another round of applause.
"I would like to thank my husband, who has been the biggest support for me all along, our families, our partners, our employees, our clients, our suppliers and anyone who has ever directly helped us. Last but not the least, thanks to the media for criticizing us over and over, constructive criticism of course, and for pushing us to do better." I could I not taunt the media for a single time. Everyone chuckled.
"I told ya ! I wouldn't run away this time ! Thank you." I concluded and everyone stood up and applauded. I smiled at everyone and got off the stage.
My family members praised me, we had gotten a lot closer in the past one year. All of us were putting efforts.
Finally when I and Paras got some privacy I asked him ,"How did I do?"
"You were amazingggggg!" He said exaggerating the word amazing which made me chuckle.
"I love you so much." I said holding his hands.
"And I love YOU so much." He said with an ear to ear grin. I didn't want that moment to end but sadly we were interrupted.
We all had dinner. I was sitting with Mrs. Mehra again while she was on her phone yet again. I was staring at my husband who was talking to some business associates. He looked soooooo handsome, I would give anything to kiss him right now.
Just then he caught me staring at him and smirked. I suddenly felt embarrassed but hid it with a confident smile. But Oh that stupid blush ! It made him smirk even more.
After a while, when Mrs. Mehra was still on the phone, my phone buzzed.
It was Paras's text.
Paras - Your body on my body, it takes me home !
How shameless ! I lifted my gaze to find him smirking at me. I decided to play along.
Nishtha - Your body on my body losing control !!
I saw him again and now it was my time to smirk. The rest of the party was a torture because I just wanted to go home with my husband and you know the rest.
Finally the party was over.
The second we reached home, Paras pinned me to the wall and we started kissing like there was no tomorrow. He was caressing my skin which was a sweet torture.
Just then we stopped to catch some breath.
"I realized what love is because of you." He said and pecked me sexily on my cheek.
"And I realized that I could be loved, because of you." I said and he smiled and then we continued.
I leave the rest to the readers' imagination (wink)

Allister Hale's Story Graveyard.
You've tried to write a story yes? So have I, Many times. I get a good vibe going, type a few pages worth of content then reach the point it gets the tiniest bit hard. Thing is, some of those stories are good, the kind of good that gets people excited and then disapointed when they cut off abruptly and without warning before fifteen chapters. So content Warning, none of theese little stories come to any kind of conclusion. A couple are just different attempts at the same idea (some with the same characters no less)They are also raw and uneddited, and no i wont be fixing them.I don't think any of them deserve any additional content warnings, as I'm not interested in writting those sorts of stories, but please read with caution.

Author here, just wanted to say that if the synopsis did not sound as exciting as I had hoped it would be, try reading the first 10 chapters? I promise it won't be terrible! :) Whoops, forgot to mention, prologues don't count as chapters! If you've read this far, I might as well tell you what I was inspired by! However, this does NOT mean my story will be similiar in any way to the novels/stories/books listed below. By 'inspiration,' I refer to mainly how the characterizations plot devices, dialogue, conflict introduction/resolution, and thought processes are used and introduced in those works of literature. But in a way, you can interpret this list as, "if the author read and was inspired by these novels, then it's possible that we share similiar tastes, so I'll give this story a try." :) -Those Who Aspired to Become Gods: A darker fairy tale novel (My all-time fantasy favorite despite it being unfinished) -Forgotten Conqueror (Second all-time fantasy favorite) -Brandon Sanderson's The Reckoning trilogy (Third all-time fantasy favorite) -Kel Kade's 'King's Dark Tidings' -Brent Week's Night Angel saga -Red Rising trilogy -Infinite Realm: Monsters & Legends -Reborn: Apocalypse -Reborn: Evolving From Nothing -48 Hours a Day -The New World -Creep -Arrogant Young Master Template A Variation 4 -Can't Cure Deceit -Super Minion -Unparalleled -Unbound -Wake of the Ravager -Overgeared -Solo Leveling -The Tutorial Is Too Hard [email protected] -God of Money -A Snake's Life -The Snake Report -The Tower of God -UnOrdinary -Release that Witch!
