I can't believe that I slept through most of yesterday. After Marcell asked me on a date he had to go do some pack work and I took the chance to look at the alarm. It was 6:13 am meaning I had to start getting ready for school soon. I decided I would go ahead and get ready so I could get some breakfast before school. After I got ready I went down to the kitchen and saw Kyle at the table eating. I haven't talked to him since yesterday when he was made.

"Hey Elle, how are you doing today?" He asked cheerfully. He was acting like yesterday never happened.

"I'm good Marcell asked me on a date." I told him. I still haven't told anyone about my weird dream from last night and I honestly don't think that I will.

"When is this date?" He asked.

"All I know is that it is tonight." I told him because Marcell didn't give me an actual time. "Hey by the way, what was up with you yesterday?" I finally asked. I had been wanting to ask that since I saw him. He gave me a confused look.

"What are you talking about? I hadn't seen you since Juliet dragged me off to 'help her do her homework'" He said that last part with air quotes. This confused me even more.

"No we saw each other last night before dinner. I came down here to see who was cooking and I found you in here and I tried to talk to you but you were being really rude. You then eventually got up and went to your room. Slamming the door if I might add." I told him this and he still had the audacity to look confused.

"I dont remember any of that. Come to think of it the last thing I remember from yesterday is going to meet an old friend from the Cresent Moon pack." He told me and this time I could tell that he wasn't lying.

"Then how do you explain everything that happened? Is there anything that would making you forget everything that you did after that?"

"I dont know. We need to go talk to Marcellus." He said getting up and putting his dishes in the sink. "Come on, are you coming with me or not?" This got me to get up and we went to Marcell's office. When we were outside the door Kyle knocked and after a quiet 'come in' from inside we went into his office. "Marcellus we need to talk to you about something." Kyle said in a serious tone. Kyle is always playful and never really takes anything serious so for him to sound like that you know it must be important.

"What is it Kyle?" Marcell looked up at us in confusion.

"Yesterday I went to meet up with Marcus from Cresent Moon because he was in town fro business but after that I don't remember anything that I did. Eliana said that I was acting very our of character yesterday but I dont even remember talking to her again after we left you guys alone." Kyle explained to Marcell whos face turned angry upon hearing this.

"I hate to tell you this Ky but I think that you might have been druged." Marcell tells us. Why would someone do that?

"Are you serious? Who could have done that?" Kyle questioned aloud.

"Is there anyway that Marcus could have done it?" Kyle shook his head. "Did you ever leave your drink unattended?"

"I went to the bathroom for not even two minutes!" I cant believe someone would do that to Kyle.

"It only takes a second of you turning away from your drink. You need to start paying attention to your drinks and food before you ingest it. You two will be staying home from school today and until we figure out who did this to you." We both nodded before Kyle left leaving me alone with Marcell.

"Come here." He told me reaching out his arms. I get over to him and he pulled me down onto his lap. I wrapped my arms around him and put my head on his shoulder. "How are you?" He was looking at me concerned. I thought about it, I honestly don't know if I was okay.

"I am now that I'm here with you." I told him truthfully. He gave me the biggest smile before giving me a brief kiss on the forehead. He rolled his chair back to his desk keeping me where I was and got back to doing the pack work he was working on. Sometime later, I moved to look at the clock and saw that it was already 9:54 am. I had been in here with him for about two or three hours.

"Are you hungry?" I asked Marcell. He looked at me before shaking his head. "Okay." After that we sat in awkward silence. I feel like he was trying to ignore me but at the same time I felt like he was just worried about something with the pack. I didn't really know what to do. "Can you let me go please?"

"Why?" He questioned looking a little hurt.

"I'm bored and I don't want to sit in your office all day." I told him. He unwrapped his arms around me but not before giving me a quick kiss on the lips. Leaving him office I could have sworn I heard him say 'I love you' but I think I was just imagining that. Leaving his office I decided that I should try to find Kyle. I tried to follow his sent but I wasn't having any luck so I went to my room and started to pack my things and move them into Marcellus' room.

Around three hours later i was finally done moving everything into his, no our room. Marcellus had already got a part of his closet cleared our for me to put my clothes in. It only took me that long because about an hour and a half into it I went down to get something to eat. Leaving the room I smelled an unknown sent in the hallway. Was there someone here? Following the sent in lead to Marcellus office. I could hear a few different voice two of the voices I didn't recognize and the third voice was Marcell. I could only make out a few of the things they were saying.

"So you wait four years to find your mate just to find out that she is an omega?" I heard one of the unknown voices say.

"I know but I guess it is what it is." Marcellus responded to the voice.

"Why didn't you just reject her and get a different mate?" The other unknow voice asked.

"I was going to but I just couldn't there was something stopping me from doing so." Marcell told them. What was stopping him? I thought that it was just me pleading for him not to reject me. I heard some shuffling before I heard someone speak.

"So you think it has something to do with her family?" The first unknown voice asked.

"I don't know Ryder I really don't." Marcell said.

"If what the council said is true that means that your mate is going to be very powerful. Do you think that is why you could reject her no matter how much you wanted to?" The person who i learned is Ryder said. What did the council say? Was what he said true? Did Marcell really want to reject me that bad?
