When Maya learned that Klaus had gotten a wolf pregnant she was crushed and didn't leave her room for days until she had Rebekah dragging her out of bed telling her she couldn't stay in bed all day feeling sorry for herself. So here they were pulling up in the middle of the night to the mansion where they had made the best yet worst memories of their immortal lives.

Sighing she looked at Rebekah after she put her phone down. ''I still don't get why we have to be here''

''Because sweetheart, Elijah hasn't been answering his phone and you know him he always answers his phone so clearly when he doesn't something is wrong'' Rebekah said making Maya sigh once again knowing that she was right.

She reluctantly followed Rebekah out the car who was now inside the house.

A brunette holding a fire poker in her hands cautiously made her way down the stairs ''Who the hell are you'' She said with attitude clear in her voice.

Walking over to the table and putting her phone on it rather aggressively Rebekah said ''Ahh you must be the maid our bags are in the car get them will you'' Pointing to the door as she waited expectantly for her to get them.

''Hello, not the maid'' She said putting down the fire poker her tone also a little softer than before.

Finally realizing who she was Maya rolled her eyes before she said ''Right the pregnant werewolf slut'' Shocking Hayley who didn't expect her to say something like that.

Deciding to step in seeing that things would start to escalate Rebekah said ''I was expecting to see some type of miracle baby bump I guess your not showing yet it's Hayley isn't it''

Now standing in front of the two girls Hayley pointed out ''You have Klaus's manners''

''And his temper too so watch it'' Maya narrowed her eyes making her back down a bit. Looking around Maya added ''Where's Elijah''

''Beats me, he's long gone'' Hayley said with her arms crossed.

''What do you mean he's long gone'' Rebekah said her voice now dangerously low as she looked at Hayley.

''Well, one minute he was here making epic promises about this predicament that a bottle of scotch and some bad decisions got me into." Scratching her head. "He was all poetic about how we're family and then Klaus told me he bailed guess that's what I get for trusting a vampire'' Hayley said looking to the side making Maya follow her gaze only to realize she was looking at the door to Klaus study.

''Well, clearly Elijah lied to you because you're not family'' Maya gave Hailey a fake smile as Rebekah took a step closer to Hayley.

Trying not to let her anger flare at Hayley's words about her brother Rebekah said ''Elijah is not just any vampire and he doesn't break promises" As the realization hit Rebekah said "Which means Niklaus has done something dastardly and Klaus like" Turning away from Hayley she yelled walking closer to the living room. Which resulted in Maya following while still staying a little behind Rebekah. Being Amaya Mikaelson also meant being petty so she made sure to bump her shoulder on Hayley's while walking away from her.

''Klaus gets out here and tell me what you've done with our brother you narcissistic backstabbing wanker'' Yelled Rebekah before Klaus suddenly burst open the doors to his study with his hands tucked behind his back.

''Enough with all the shouting little sister I should have known I assume the six dead vampires were your doing'' Said Klaus as he walked closer to his sister.

''They were May-'' Rebekah started but got cut off by Maya who came out from behind Rebekah with a stake shocking Niklaus who took a step back trying to play it off.

Amaya who was now directly behind Klaus with a dagger in her hand said ''Actually they were mine'' She then used the stake and stabbed him in the back making him double over in pain. ''Trying to victimize a poor innocent girl just trying to find her way through the quarter.'' She twisted the dagger in his back making him yell out. ''So sorry were they friends of yours?'' She innocently asked before pulling out the stake and letting it drop to the floor. ''Ohh yeah, that's right. Maya bent down on her knees and grabbed Klaus's face ''You don't have any friends'' Maya said smiling mockingly at him as she returned to Rebekah's side.

Hayley who was behind all of them watched the scene play out with a look of shock. She tough Klaus would have done something to retaliate but he didn't. He simply looked at her.

''Amaya'' Klaus said in his state of shock. Maya rolled her eyes before mocking him. Trying to his shock Klaus continued ''I do have friends I have Marcel." Klaus looked over at Rebekah who was looking at him with a smug grin on her face ''You remember him don't you Rebekah'' He cockily smirked when he saw that he successfully wiped the smirk off of Rebekah's face.

When Rebekah didn't respond to Klaus's teasing he responded for her by saying ''Of course you do'' turning his head to face Maya who was looking at him with an emotionless face ''He fancy's himself the king of the quarter now and he has these rules about killing vampires it'll be fun to see what kind of punishment he comes up for you''

''Mhm good for Marcel he's doing a better job at ruling than you ever could'' Maya said smirking knowing that it would get under Klaus's skin. ''But there is one thing I don't care about, Marcel's rules." Changing the topic Maya said "Elijah doesn't welsh on deals what did you do to him'' She said and she could have sworn that she saw a glimmer of fear flash in his eyes as he dropped his smirk before covering it up.

Leaning back on one of the couches behind him Klaus said ''Perhaps he's on holiday or taking a long autumn nap upstairs." He shrugged moving his arms "Well go on take a look around''

Sending him a fake smile ''Hilarious'' Maya said drily as she went to go look around the house to see if she could find Elijah anywhere in this house.

After a while of looking around the house for Elijah and not finding him, Maya came back to see Rebekah standing looking at the door in disbelief.

Realizing she hadn't seen Klaus anywhere she asked ''Where'd the cheating bastard go''

Noticing her sister's presence Rebekah responded saying ''To go have drinks with Marcel''

''Typical'' Said Maya as she looked over the stairs of the mansion to see Hayley sitting there seeming like she was listening to the conversation the whole time ''You, wolf slut'' She said making Hayley move to get a better view of her. Maya continued saying ''We're going to search this house inch by inch until we find what my evil husband has done to our good brother you're helping'' Giving her a fake smile as she walked off Rebekah followed in suit leaving Hayley to catch up.

As they walked down the stairs to go to the basement Rebekah said ''The governor had lots of secrets rooms, I'll show you his favourite''

When they reached the basement they were met with the coffins that Niklaus liked to store them in. As they started looking around something in the corner of the room captured Maya's eye. It was a shiny black coffin with a velvet red interior. Tears welled up in her eyes as she tough back to the day Klaus tried to dagger her.

''You think Klaus killed him'' Hayley said making Maya chuckle.

''We cannot be killed, you silly girl.'' She said as she walked around the coffins ''But that doesn't stop Klaus from finding different ways to torment us'' She bitterly said.

''He has a set of mystical silver daggers one in the heart send us into a deep slumber Klaus gets his jollies from keeping us in a book until he decides to pull the dagger out.'' Rebekah turned to Hayley.

Shinning her flashlight on them Maya said ''That must be what he's done to Elijah'' Walking over to her coffin Rebekah said "This one's mine'' sadness evident in her voice.

Looking disgusted Hayley said ''He keeps your coffin on standby''

Maya turned to Hayley seeing the look on her face she chuckled. Although Maya was never actually daggered by Klaus it still hurt thinking about how he almost did it.

Rebekah chirped in and said ''He likes to be prepared when his wife and siblings, inevitably, disappoint him.'' Walking around seeming like she was looking for Elijah's coffin Rebekah said ''Elijah isn't here he must have stashed him elsewhere''

''I feel sick'' Hayley said rubbing her stomach and making Maya roll her eyes.

''Sucks to be you I guess'' Maya said making it Hayley's turn to roll her eyes.

''Welcome to the family love'' Rebekah said shining her flashlight on Hayley making her squint her eyes.

'I don't care what Rebekah or Elijah say you're still not a part of the family'' Said Maya ''You should've run the second you realized Elijah was gone'' Maya said hoping to scare off Hayley even if she knew it was wrong since she was pregnant but she was just acting off of anger and jealousy.

Crossing her arms Hayley said ''Yes I would have but the witches put some type of hex on me so as long as I'm carrying this baby.'' She pointed to her stomach ''I can't leave New Orleans. If I do they kill me.''

''I mean I guess that's what you get for sleeping with someone's husband.'' Maya gave Hayley another fake smile.

''It wasn't my fault'' Hayley tried to defend her actions but Maya completely ignored her.

''Well knowing Klaus he's planning a box for you the second you give birth to whatever is cooking in your tum'' Rebekah ignored the bickering between the two. ''Were leaving as soon as we find Elijah it sucks being daggered in a box for decades... trust me'' Rebekah whispered the last part remorsefully.

''You best find a way to break that hex and run for your life or well...'' Maya added with a smirk as she did a hand motion indicating her throat being slit with a knife. And with that, she and Rebekah walked out leaving Hayley in the basement alone to process their words of 'advice'.

''Can I ask you a question?'' Hayley said coming down the stairs and into the living room where Maya was sitting down with a glass of wine in one hand and her phone in the other.

''You just did'' She said not paying attention to Hayley making the wolf roll her eyes. Unfortunately, Maya was stuck with Hayley for the day because Rebekah went to talk to Sophie Deveraux and Klaus is most likely with Marcel trying to figure out a way to win back his 'kingdom'.

''Why are you so rude to me'' She asked making Maya scoff in disbelief. Wasn't it obvious why Amaya couldn't stand Hayley?

''I thought it was pretty obvious. You slept with my husband and on top of that you so easily got pregnant with his child something that I've wanted for over a thousand years now'' Maya said deciding to leave out the part where she had a miscarriage.

''But I already told you I didn't know you guys were still together and I thought you broke up with him since you left him for over 30 years'' Hayley pointed out.

''Yes Hayley I heard you yesterday I just choose to ignore you." She said trying her best to not let Hayley's words get to her. Truth is she knew it wasn't Hayley's fault. She just found it easier to blame her than to acknowledge the fact that Hayley got what Maya always wanted. A baby with Klaus.

Seeing that she wasn't going to crack anytime soon Hayley gave up on trying to make amends with Maya. ''Fine'' She sighed in defeat. ''I'm going out to get something'' She said making the tribrid finally look up at her.

''No, you not'' She said looking back down at looking at her phone.

''Excuse me'' Hayley said not believing her ears.

''I'm not repeating myself you heard what I said,'' Maya said just wanting Hayley to just leave her alone. Not bothering to respond Hayley just went back upstairs making her sigh in contentment thinking that the wolf had gone back to her room but little did she know she cracked open the window in her room and jumped through.

After a couple of hours and it was now dark outside and Maya found the house to be too silent so she went upstairs to check on Hayley only to find her not there.

''HAYLEY'' She yelled. No response. ''Bloody hell.'' She whispered to herself. Sighing she reluctantly pulled her phone and dialled Klaus's number.

It rang three times until the final ring he answered.

''Hello love''

''You need to come to come back now seems your werewolf slut has left the mansion''

''Amaya darling. Right now is not the time for you silly jokes.'' Klaus tried to stay calm but with every second going by he was slowly losing patience.

''Well unfortunately I'm not joking so you need to come back and find your baby momma'' She said and hung up before he could respond. She then went to her contact list and sent a text to Rebekah telling her to keep an eye out for Hayley.

When Klaus finally got to the house he was raging when he found Maya sitting down doing her nails. ''I gave you clear instructions. Don't let Hayley out of your sight. How did you lose her.'' Hearing his voice Maya couldn't help but roll her eyes

''Wow, no hi Maya, how are you, how were you day-''

''I'm not playing these games with you Amaya did she go'' He said through gritted teeth as he tried taking deep breaths to calm himself down.

''I don't know. She told me she was going to go outside and I said no so she went back upstairs. But then a couple of hours later I realized that it was too quiet in here so I went to check in on her and she wasn't here so I called you.'' She said but before Klaus could respond they heard Rebekah screaming Klaus's name. They spared each other a glance before they both stepped outside to see Rebekah with Hayley and multiple dead vampires.

''Oh, boy'' Mumble Maya knew they were going to get an earful from Klaus.

A little while later Klaus was pilling the dead vampire's bodies on top of each other. ''This is why I told you never to leave the house. Werewolves are banned in the quarter. I had a plan and your little stroll put it all in peril'' Klaus said but Maya wasn't paying attention she was walking towards the vampire that wasn't dead about stepping forward to kill him but then Klaus yelled ''LEAVE HIM'' making her stop.

''Rude.'' She whispered under her breath.

''You've done enough don't you think? You and Rebekah leaving a trail of bodies like a roadmap to my door.'' Klaus said but Maya simply rolled her eyes at his anger it wasn't her fault Hayley decided to leave and almost get killed by vampires.

''If I hadn't overheard this lot bragging about werewolf heads, everyone here would be screwed and don't give me that crap about having a plan. You've had all the time in the world to execute a plan and no one's seen you do a damn thing. Elijah made a deal to protect your child so that he could save you from your selfish, rotten self. But you don't give a damn about the child or Elijah because what have you done to honour it.'' Rebekah ranted making Maya raise her brows in surprise.

''I have done everything. Let me spell it out for you, shall I? From the day I arrived Marcel hasn't trusted me.'' Klaus said making Maya snort in amusement.

''I wouldn't either'' His head snapped towards her fury and frustration clear in his eyes.

''Something you need to say Amaya'' He said taking an intimidating step towards her.

''Nope. Not at all'' She said with an amused grin on her face raising her arms in mock surrender.

''From day one, he's had his vampires ingest toxic vervain, which as you know wife and little sister protect them from my mind control. I needed a spy someone on the inside with me who Marcel would never suspect. So, I created a day zero and go there first. Marcel had just lost six vampires, thanks to your little murder spree'' He directed the last part of his sentence to Maya.

''And he needed recruits, So I made the new one mine before he even got the tiniest drop of vervain. But we all know the real way to a man is through his heart. So...'' Klaus pointed to the vampire who was still alive and groaning on the pile grabbing him by the back of his jacket neck he brought the vampire back inside "This one, I will drain him of vervain. Compel him to believe his mate found religion and moved to Utah. So that he can explain to Marcel why he lost three more vampires tonight'' Klaus continued as they all followed him inside the house.

When Klaus was fully in the house he asked ''Does anyone have any more questions'' He held his hands up in the air.

''I'm still trying to figure out what your master evil hybrid plan has to do with us'' Maya tutted. But before she could add something else Klaus used his vampire speed and pushed her against the wall strangling her.

''Don't test me sweetheart'' Klaus whispered as he got close to her ear. Maya couldn't feel slight butterflies in her stomach. After 30 years of being away from him, she hoped that it was enough to stop the effect he had on her. But it didn't.

So ignoring the butterfly she got in her stomach smirking she said seductively in his ear ''Mhmm Kinky'' Before she used her enhanced speed and pushed him off of her. ''Don't put your filthy hands on me'' She said as she realized she didn't know where his hands has been.

''No other questions?Good. Because I have a question. Hayley what were you doing in the bloody French Quarter in the first place.'' Klaus asked her. When she didn't respond and simply looked down in shame he yelled at her hoping to get an answer instead it only made her flinch.

Deciding to Step in Maya said ''Leave her be'' Surprising them all it was pretty obvious that she didn't like Hayley.

Walking up to him with a newfound burst of confidence Hayley said ''You wanna know what I was doing?'' pausing she continued again. ''I was buying poison so I could put your baby out of its misery.'' She said shocking Amaya. When Maya told Hayley to run as far as she can she didn't mean to try and kill the baby.

While Maya was in shock, Klaus on the other hand was blinded with rage. He speeds Hayley to a wall cutting off her air supply.

''NIK'' Rebekah yelled hoping that he would listen and let Hayley go. Seeing as he wasn't listening to her Rebekah look over at Amaya who also looked in her direction.

But being a superhero Amaya got the hint Rebekah was giving her. Maya speed Klaus to the other wall.

''Keep your hands off her she is pregnant for bloody sake'' She yelled at him before shoving him more into the wall. Looking over at Hayley who was holding her throat and her stomach coughing she looked back at Niklaus whose eyes were now red ''All this bloody bluster about not wanting the child and then the second she tells you she's ready to get rid of it..'' She said but got distracted when she felt their proximity Maya stepped away from Klaus and let Rebekah continue.
