The last month had been hectic for the Mikaelson's. Excluding Amaya. She was now no longer allowed to participate in any other murderous activity since she became pregnant.
Niklaus banished Rebekah from coming back to New Orleans and Marcel was exiled by Elijah. The curse on the werewolves had been lifted, thanks to Hayley. Kieran, Camille's uncle was hexed and Davina came back from the dead after the witch who took her place died.
''Yes, apart from the one lingering monster with whom you share a bed.'' Amaya snarkily said as she and Elijah walked into Klaus's art room.
For the last month, there has been some tension between Niklaus and Amaya. The main reason being he was now sleeping around with the wicked witch of the west Genevieve.
Turning to Genevieve who wore a smirk on her face Elijah lifted her heels and said ''I trust you can find your clothing and the door.''
As Genevieve moved to get her heels Amaya slightly tilted her head before lifting her hand and setting her shoes on fire making her smirk drop as quickly as it came.
''Oops,'' Amaya shrugged her shoulders with an innocent smile. ''I guess you're just going to have to go home with no shoes.''
''Bitch.'' Genevieve mumbled to herself before walking out of the room leaving Amaya with a satisfied smirk.
Once out of the room Elijah said ''You do recall that woman tortured our sister.''
''She also revealed the truth about our sister's treachery,'' Klaus said with a smirk still plastered on his face.
''And as a consequence, Rebekah is gone forever.''
Somewhere in between Elijah and Klaus's argument Amaya grew bored so she turned around and left them to argue.

Amaya roamed the halls of the compound she suddenly stopped when she felt her phone vibrate in her back pocket.
Pulling it out she checked the caller Id only to roll her eyes in annoyance when she saw Camille's name on her screen.
''Camille.'' Amaya drily said as she picked up the phone.
On the other side of the line, Cami sighed in relief. She knew Amaya didn't like so calling her and expecting an answer was reaching.
'' Hey, Amaya. I know that you're pregnant but I need your help.''
Raising an eyebrow Amaya asked ''With what.''
''With the curse on Kieran.'' Camille felt herself wince as the line went silent.
Maya stood contemplating if she wanted to help Camille before finally making a decision.
''Sure. It's not like I have anything else to do.'' Truth is Amaya knew she couldn't do much for Kieran.
If she used too much magic trying to break the hex there was a chance that she could hurt the baby and she wasn't willing to take her chances.

When Maya finally got to the church she found Camille looking worriedly at Kieran who handcuffed his leg.
''Is that necessary?'' Cami asked.

''Of course. He could go rabid any minute now.'' Amaya said from behind Cami making her jump in surprise.
''You scared me,'' Cami said as she held a hand up to her racing heart.
''The sickness, it's overtaking my inclination to forgive. Replacing it with one thought that I could barely contain at the summit.'' Looking up at the two Kieran said ''Kill every last one of them.''
''Well darling, it's a good thing I can't be killed,'' Amaya smirked.
''We'll figure it out,'' Cami said her eyes never leaving her uncle's. ''Right Amaya? There is something you can do?'' She asked.
''Nope,'' Amaya said as she laid down on the bed. ''There's nothing I can do. If I try to break a hex that powerful while pregnant. I could hurt the baby.'' She then pointed to her stomach. ''That's not a risk I'm willing to take.''
Snapping her head towards Amaya, Cami looked at her wide-eyed. ''Why couldn't you tell me this over the phone instead of coming here.''
Shrugging her shoulder Amaya said '' I was bored.''
Turning back to Kieran, Cami said ''Then I'll find another way.''
''I tried to figure it out with Sean,'' Kieran said as he got up from his position on the floor. ''But I was focused too much on that instead of trying to stop him. And I'm not gonna let that happen to me.'' He let out a shaky breath before walking towards Cami who backed up as he came closer,
''You're an O'Connell. They are going to ask you to take my place at the table. Don't. Just leave. Just start over.''
Shaking her head Cami said ''I'm not going anywhere as long as there's still a chance.''
''How many times do I have to tell you? I can't be fixed.'' Maya slowly got up as she noticed the murderous glint in Kieran's eyes.
''Cami'' She slowly said as she walked towards her.
''And how many times do I have to tell you? I will not stop trying?'' Cami she ignored Amaya.
Letting out an angry sigh Kieran's voice raised as he said ''That is stubbornness. Like-Like when you were a little girl.'' He stuttered. ''You always had to be right. Y-y-you never listened. Just that thick head of yours. I prayed for you. And I got no answer. There is only blackness. There is only death. There's mine... and yours.''
''Camille!'' Maya yelled as Kieran tackled Cami to the floor.
Jumping to action Maya ran behind Cami and took a hold of her arms before using her strength to drag her away from Kieran. When Cami was a good distance away from Kieran, Maya lifted her foot and kicked him in the face successfully knocking him out.
''Next time, I will let him take you,'' Maya warned Cami before leaving her there to take care of Kieran.

Amaya sat at the bar as she watched everybody drink and have fun in the compound.
''I see you're having a great time.'' a voice spoke from behind her making her turn around to see who it was. Her eyes widened as she saw Jackson standing behind her.
Looking up at Jackson, Amaya raised her hand and slapped him across the face.
Rubbing his cheek, Jackson looked at her before chuckling and saying ''I missed you too, May.'' he then pulled her in a hug which she reciprocated.
''I didn't know you two knew each other.'' Said Hayley as she approached the two.
''Yeah, we were best friends before they put the curse on us.'' As Jackson talked, Maya couldn't help but notice Davina talking to a werewolf.
''I'll be back.'' She told Hayley and Jackson nodded as they started to engage in their own conversation.
As she walked toward Davina she saw Mona say something to the wolf upsetting Davina and resulting in her walking away.
''Mona, right?'' Maya said making Monique's smirk drop as she stared at her.
''Monique.'' She said and at Amaya.
''Miranda, Monica, Mona, Monique. Same difference. I saw what you did to Davina there.'' She pointed out.
''Yeah, so what?''
Chuckling Amaya took a step forward making Monique take a step back.
''You know, Davina has told me a lot about you. Like how you've been a complete bitch to her. And I just want to say if you keep bothering her I will cut out your spleen and make you eat it.'' Seeing Monica's now fearful look she turned around ready to leave before stopping again. ''Oh, and Madison, enjoy the party.'' She then smiled sweetly before walking away just in time to catch Diego and Oliver arguing though it quickly became a fight when Diego sent Oliver flying throught the air.
Somewhere in between the fight, Elijah managed to get involved and press Oliver's head on one of the counters.
''This ends now,'' Elijah said as Oliver struggled in his grip.
''I won't ask again,'' Elijah said.
''Oh, we'll end it alright,'' Jackson said as he held up a stake towards Diego's chest.
''Wasn't it Diego who provoked the fight?'' Amaya asked earning an eye roll from Elijah. ''I just don't understand why you're not punishing Diego instead of wasting your time on Oliver.''
''Amaya why don't you stay out of this? This does not concern you'' Elijah said making Maya let out an offended scoff.
''Doesn't it. I mean I am a tribrid. And if you don't know that consists of being half-wolf, vampire and witch.'' She said emphasizing the witch. ''So really I do think this concern's me.'' Taking a step forward she continued ''So Elijah, what's stopping you?''
''Kill him,'' Hayley said as she walked down the stairs. ''Go ahead, Elijah. Do it. I mean, it's not like he doesn't deserve to die.''
''Shouldn't you intervene or something?'' Francesca Guerra asked Klaus who opened his mouth to say something but was soon interrupted.
''Why would he? Things just got interesting.'' Maya said as she moved to stand beside Klaus who just smirked at her.
''I mean. it was Oliver who handed Rebekah and shot Amaya with vervain and wolfsbane so the witches could take them. '' Tilting her head Hayley continued by saying ''Bu then again, wasn't it Diego who led a werewolf massacre last month? And the witches cursed the wolves, while the human stood back and let it all happen, so when you think about it, everyone here deserves to die.''
''Are you approaching a point?'' Elijah said.
''Did you think she would say all of this just to not approach a point,'' Amaya said making Hayley send her a grateful look.
''My point, Elijah, is this. If we can't all learn to get along if our families can't create some sort of community, then what's the point? Kill each other and get it all over with.'' At Hayley's words, Elijah let go of Oliver and Jackson did the same to Diego.
Smirking Maya said ''Well that was quite dramatic.''
*****
Elijah set the paper on a desk in Klaus's art room with the vile of blood and a dip ink pen before handing it to Klaus first.
''Sign it,'' Elijah demanded.
''Why'' Klaus asked. ''You've already done so on our behalf.''
''Brother, I'm not a fool. It's clear to me you're not as disinterested as you'd like me to believe.'' Elijah said as he glanced at Amaya who was playing a game on her phone.
Turning around to face Klaus, Elijah said ''Sign, please. If there is no peace between us, then how can you expect others to follow suit? ''
''Fine,'' Klaus said as he threw down his paintbrush. ''If it will make you happy.'' Klaus then proceeded to sign his name before saying ''But I assure you this city's inhabitants will not adhere to this agreement.''
He handed the pen back to Elijah who then turned to Amaya who seemed too concentrated on the game she was playing to their conversation.
''Amaya,'' Elijah said as he held the pen in front of her phone.
''Elijah.'' She snapped. ''You just made me lose. I almost beat my high score.''
Paying no attention to her anger Elijah narrowed his eyes at her making Amaya angrily sign before snatching the pen out of his hand and signing her name under Klaus's.
''Well, you are welcome to wager against me,'' Elijah said answering Klaus's previous statement. ''You will lose.'' He said after a long pause.
Rolling her eyes Maya said ''Bloody hell, you guys are so dramatic.'' She then left the two of them in the room and went to hers.

Polly and Drake
Drake has been searching for a job as a personal guard, but wherever he turns, he is kicked out without fail. It's not that he's terrible with weapons, or inattentive. It could be because of his obvious racial heritage. Or because of Polly. With his funds dwindling, the only remaining option is to become one of the Cursed: poor souls that work for the Dragoneye Guild. In other lands, they may be called adventurers, saviors or even heroes, but not in the White Desert. Here, they are shunned and ignored. Depraved people who forsook their humanity for money and fame. With this choice, Drake may not only fall from grace, but also become one of only a few thousands capable of unearthing the secrets of ancient times. If he could get this guardsman notion out of his head. May contain gore, violence, profanity and traumatising content. Taking another shoot at this writing business. I write for fun and when I have time. There is no plan. The story may change drastically from what it starts out - or not. We'll see what happens. Currently, I'm aiming for a Slice of Life with LitRPG elements at a later time.

MAZE - The Endless Quest
As all kids do, Hera wanted to be an explorer. Sadly when she turned 18, she discovered that her stats and lack of skills made her fail the requirements to become one, and she went to work on a bookstore. That should have been the end of her story. But when she wins a lottery to have her level up, she discovers a hidden skill and a rare one at that. The system gave her dream back, and this time she is not letting it go. ############################## The story is about a world where game-like systems are the norm. Everyone has a level, status, and even skills are a common thing. If your stats are good, you can also become an explorer, someone that ventures inside a place called MAZE, a dungeon of sorts filled with monsters, creatures, and things that the natural world is missing, such as magic and demi-humans. The story follows Hera, a woman who wanted to be an explorer, but her status were too low to become one. One day she wins a raffle that allows her to level up for the first time giving her the chance to achieve her childhood dream. It's more about how things work and what you can do with them than about power or revenge. The rhythm might be a bit slow for some, but that is the idea. I want to give sort of a slice of life feeling to most of it.
