''Writing a love letter to one of your many suitors?'' Klaus asked Amaya as he watched her write a letter. ''So who's the lucky recipient then?''
''Definitely not you,'' Maya said as she playfully glanced at Klaus she let out a yelp and held onto her stomach.
''How is our little fighter?'' Klaus asked as he moved to stand in front of Amaya.
"Do you want to...'' Maya trailed off raising a suggestive brow towards Klaus. Sensing Klaus's hesitation she pressed. ''Come one.''
He bent down in front of Amaya and gently pressed a hand to her stomach. He let out a surprised yelp as he felt the baby kick.
''You feel that?'' Maya smiled as she let a big grin overtake her features.
''Right.'' Klaus looked down before standing up. ''I'll leave you to your secret letter then.
Klaus then left the room leaving Maya to write her letter.
''Dear Zoey or Caitlin or Angela. To my little girl, your dad just asked if this was a love letter. I guess it kind of is. I grew up being the best mother. She tucked me in at night time and she always made me feel safe. At one point, I never thought I would be able to love someone as much as I love your dad. That was until you came along.
So I thought I'd write to you. So that you could know how happy I am at this very moment. How much your father and I can't wait to meet you. And I want to make you a promise, three things that you will have that I never did. A safe home, someone to tell you that they love you every single day, and someone to fight for you no matter what. In other words, a family. So there you go, baby girl. The rest we're gonna have to figure out together.
I love you,
Your mom.''
When Klaus burst through the church doors Amaya felt hope. Hope that Klaus was able to save her. But that hope was short-lived when Monique threw him against the wall making him unable to move.
Maya moaned in pain as the contractions became more painful.
''You should know this brings me no joy,'' Genevieve said as she held a knife in her hand. ''I promise I'll make it quick.'' She said as she looked up at Klaus.
A witch spread a thin sheet over Amaya's lower body as she screamed.
''Let's begin shall we'' Genevieve looked at the other witches for approval.
"No! No!'' She yelled out as she started to push. And the pain was nothing like she felt before. It felt like her insides were getting burned and stretched out at the same time.
''I will bring hell to your doorstep,'' Klaus yells out threats.
''One last push. The baby's almost here.'' Genevive said Maya screamed even louder than before and Klaus continued to throw threats.

''I can see the baby,'' Monique said.
''Ok. Now push.'' Genevieve instructed making Maya comply.
She yelled and pushed as hard as she could and gripped the sheet that was placed over her with all her might.
''Gently, gently,'' Genevieve said.
And with one last yell Maya fell back with a gasp when the baby was finally out. She lifted her body as much as she could to look at her baby as she softly cried.
Looking at Klaus who was now silent, Genevieve said ''You have a beautiful baby daughter.
''We must start the sacrifice as soon as the moon sets with the morning sky,'' Genevieve said as she looked down at the baby.
''Please,'' Maya said and they all looked towards her weak frame. ''Please can I hold her?'' She asked her eyes never leaving the baby.
Genevieve walked over to Maya and handed her the baby. As she cradled the baby in her arms Maya looked up to Klaus a ghost of a smile on her lips as they both made eye contact.
Suddenly Monique snuck up behind Maya and slit her throat. She grabbed onto her throat as she chocked on her own blood.
And with that, she fell over temporarily dead.

"Amaya wake you.'' Amaya heard before she shot up with a gasp.
She frantically looked around before her eyes settled on someone standing in front of her.
Her mother.
''What happened?" Amaya asked her mother who looked at her with sad eyes.
''You have to wake up.'' Her mother said making her shake her head.
''No. I am not leaving until I get answers. You can't keep doing this to me. You have to tell me what's going on.'' Maya said making her mother chuckle with a shake of her head.
''I know, baby,'' Emery said as she moved the hair from her daughter's face. ''But your daughter's in danger and you need to save her,'' Emery said as tears ran down her face. ''So you need to wake up.''
''I-I can't. I don't want to. What if I wake up and my baby isn't there anymore? Mom, I don't think I can live if she dies again.'' Maya cried as her mother pulled her into a hug.
''I love you Amaya Labonair and maybe one day we will meet again but that time will not be now.'' Taking a deep breath Emery backed up from her daughter who looked at her with a heartbroken look.
''Mom.'' She pleaded. ''Please don't do this mom.''
''I'm so sorry but you have to wake up,'' Emery said as she watched her daughter disappear.
*****
Maya jolted awake to find that she was now back in the church.
Flashbacks of what happened with Genevieve flash through her head before she suddenly felt a pull toward Lafayette Cemetary. And so she went.

''Then we move faster.'' Maya heard Klaus say when she got there.
''Or smarter.'' She said when she spotted Klaus, Elijah and Hayley who had blood all over.
''Amaya,'' Klaus said as he slowly walked towards her and engulfed her in a hug.
He was quick to let go when she didn't hug him back tough.
''I can feel her. She's here.'' Maya said referring to Hope. ''I can feel my baby. I'm gonna go find our daughter.'' She said then walked out of the crypt.
Maya made it just in time to catch Genevieve holding a knife over her baby's head while they chanted a spell.
''No!'' She yelled and Elijah picked up a flower pot from the floor and threw it knocking the knife out of Genevieve's hand.
Both Harvest girls joined hands and channelled the ancestors and used enough to push them all back.
''You fools to come against us in our place of power,'' Monique said as she held out her hand. ''In our strongest hour. You won't face three. You face us all.
''I think you forget that I'm also a witch Monique,'' Amaya said before throwing both her hands out trying to overpower the spell as the others split up.
The blonde harvest girl holding onto Monique was thrown back by Klaus who threw something at her. Leaving just Monique.
She ran to get the knife that Genevieve dropped and ran back to the baby hoping to complete the sacrifice. Maya tried to use her sped but Monique thrust out her arm and gave them all aneurysms.
Monique suddenly bent over as cuts started littering her whole body before she dropped to the floor. Dead.
Marcel then sped to the baby before picking her up and speeding away with Klaus following.
******
Elijah chained Genevieve in the crypt as Maya stood in front of her.
''Why.'' Maya simply.
''The ancestors left me no choice.'' Genevieve insisted.
''You were willing to sacrifice an innocent baby for more power,'' Hayley said as she looked at Genevieve in disgust.
''Oh, not just power. It was the ancestor's decree. It was her decree.'' Genevieve said as tears started to build up in her eyes.
Roughly grabbing onto her face Elijah asked ''It was whose decree?''
I'm surprised you have to ask.'' Genevieve chuckled. ''After all, you were the one who convinced your siblings to consecrate her in New Orleans soil.''
''Esther.'' Amaya said.
''So not even death can stop my mother from seeking the annihilation of her flesh and blood,'' Elijah said as he paced around the crypt.
''This isn't the end. As long as that child lives the witches of New Orleans will never stop coming for it. Esther will never stop coming for it. It had been decreed.'' Genevieve said.
''Your baby will be consecrated among her ancestors. She will not live'' Blood started leaking out of Genevieve's eyes as she cried and said ''They're coming for me. I can feel it. I've failed them. please. understand, I just wanted to live. Tell Klaus... I'm sorry,''
As Genevieve choked on her blood Maya walked up to her and dug her hand in her stomach before pulling out her spleen. ''I'm not.'' She smiled sinisterly before she shoved her hand back inside and turned her heart before pulling it out agonizingly slow hoping that Genevieve could feel even an ounce of the pain that she felt.
Maya then turned around leaving Hayley and Elijah in the crypt.
*****
Amaya sat in the nursery as she held her baby who was fast asleep.
''There is a third option.'' Amaya said as she butted into the conversation between Klaus and Elijah.
''I don't want this for her. Having a grandmother hell bent on sacrificing her and having her aunt who had to drink her blood to survive transitionning into a hybrid. She dosen't deserve this.'' Amaya shook her head while she let the tears that she had been holding in fall.
''The only thing to do is send her away while se stay behind and clean up the mess that we've made.'' Amaya said as she stared off into a corner of the room.
''No. This is insane. You heard Genevieve. As long as she lives that baby will be hunted.'' Elijah pointed out making Klaus come to a point.
''Not if no one know she lives.'' Klaus said making Elijah blink in confusion.
''What is it that you intend to do, brother?''
''Whatever it takes to save our family.''
*****
After Hayley took a drop of the baby's blood Amaya was forced to attend the memorial for Hope.
That's the name they've chosen. Because she was thier Hope.
She now stood on the balcony over-looking the city as Hayley took a seat next to her.
''How are you holding up.'' Hayley asked as she glanced at Amaya who numbly stared at the citizens walking by.
''I just had to fake my daughter's death and send her away. How do you think I'm holding up.'' Amaya drily said as Hayley winced.
''Dumb question. Sorry.'' After a long beat of silence, Hayley asked ''Is there anything I can do to make you feel better.''
''You know what will make me feel better Hayley?'' She then turned to Hayley with a psychotic glint in her eye and said ''Killing Francesca Correa and putting her head on a stick for New Orleans to see.''
