"You know we should probably start making the potion already. Everyone else has already started." Y/n stated
"Y-Yeah of course!" Malfoy stuttered out. Damn it, why did I stutter?, he thought while fiddling with a spoon prepared on the table.
They then started to make the potion as a perfect team. Y/n read the instructions while Draco did as told. This was the only time in all the years of Hogwarts where anyone has ever seen Draco Malfoy taking orders and getting along with someone so well. Snape had a slight knowing glint in his eyes as he watched the two students work together.
And he shipped them. Oh he shipped them. They're absolutely perfect for each other he thought. He then decided to make a decision he knew he won't regret.
"Now everyone,you will be permanently partnered with your current partners for the rest of the year." He emphasised the "rest of the year" making the most students groan in displeasure.
Draco on the other hand, was like a little boy during Christmas. Though he wouldn't admit it, you could tell he was happy by the slight smirk he was giving his shoes. I mean who smirks at their feet, am I right ?

"Heard you got partnered with Malfoy in potions." Parvati said in a sing-song voice.
"So?"
"So?!" She made it seem like it was the end of the world.
"It's Malfoy! Train whisper boy! And for the rest of the year may I add !" Parvati practically screamed into Y/n's face.
"Alright! Merlin Parvati! I get it."
Parvati finally calmed down which was a relief to everyone at the great hall.

"Draco~" Pansy teased.
"What!?" Draco was annoyed and finally gave up on ignoring her.

"You and Y/n~" with that the whole group started bursting in laughter due to the fact that Draco was now blushing as red as a tomato.
"S-shut up!" He managed to stutter out. And he yet again sulked into his seat with a frown on his face, still, furiously blushing.

"Y/n, hurry up! Lunch is almost over!" Parvati screamed.
"Alright! Merlin! Just let me have one more spoon if this mashed potato please, it's so good!" Y/n replied while trying to quickly shove spoons of the delicious mashed potato into her mouth.
"Alright I'm done! Let's go!"

Once they reached the edge of the forbidden forest to start their first care of magical creatures class of the day, they were startled by the huge bird-like creature known as a hippogriff.
"Alright welcome to yer firs' care o' magical creatures lesson fer today."
"This is Buckbeak."
"Now Hippogriffs are very proud creatures. Never dare to insult one." And he left to her get some dead ferrets to feed buckbeack.
Draco was now being basic Malfoy and teasing Potter about his fear of dementors.
Hagrid then came back.
"Now who wants ter ride 'im firs'?"
Everyone stepped back instead of Harry.
"Very good Harry!"
"Come on now! Don't be shy."
And Harry rode Buckbeak. (We got some beastiality shit going on there 😳)
When he came back everyone was applauding and cheering for him except of course, the one and only, Draco Malfoy.
"You're not so dangerous now are you? You great ugly brute!" He said in a bitter voice as he cockily stepped forward to the Hippogriff.
Oh this is not going to end well.
Within the blink of an eye Buckbeak leaped forward and slashed Malfoy in the arm.

"Argh! It's killed me! It's killed me!" He moaned as he writhed in the ground.(😏)
"He has to be taken to the hospital!"
"L/n! Why not you go with him? I bet it'll make him feel a lot more better!" Pansy suggested.
There were a few wolf whistles in the background but Y/n agreed anyway.
She walked with Hagrid, who was carrying Malfoy, who was holding onto her arm like his life depended on it. It didn't bother her though. What's more important was that he was injured. If he needed to hold onto her for support then she wouldn't mind.
But it wasn't because his arm needed support. His heart did, he was madly in love.
"You and your bloody chicken!"
