《My Hero Academia Oneshots》Neito Monoma x Female! Quirkless! Reader

______1st Person POV___________________
Neito Monoma.
The boy that made my life a living hell.
The same boy who would push me down on the playground, and throw rocks at me as I walked by. The same boy who would always express how he was better than me, even though his quirk required someone else.
He started off as a nice boy, don't get me wrong. We were the best of friends back in grade school. But as the years went on, and he discovered his quirk, we grew apart. He always anticipated me getting a quirk, and even cheered me up when I didn't get mine yet. But that trip to the doctors...I never wanted to tell him.
Being labeled 'Quirkless' wasn't something to be proud of, or at least that's what I was told. I didn't really care that I was quirkless though. It was a little disappointing, but it didn't matter. I would still live my life like normal, and strive to be as successful as Heros, and have Neito by my side. But that wasn't the case.
After I told him that I wasn't getting a quirk, he began to distant himself from me, saying that he didn't want to be friends with the quirkless girl.
I ended up moving schools after his and some of my other classmate's bullying got the best of me. That was when I met Itsuka Kendo.
The ginger haired, strong girl became my best friend right away, when I moved. She was so nice to me, and didn't seem to care what others said about me. She always stuck by my side, and protected me from others when they tried to push me down.
Kendo always knew what to say to. When I would get bullied, she knew how to cheer me up. When I was angry, and ready to punch someone, she knew how to calm me down. When I was scared, she knew how to give me courage.
She was the best person ever. Which is why it was hard for me when she got accepted to UA, and I wasn't able to follow.
Kendo always kept in touch though, and there was never a weekend she didn't invite me over. We would always go out, and go shopping, or hang out.
And since she was in training to become a pro hero, I would pitch in some ideas for her outfit, or I would create some devices for her to use.
Which is what I'm on my way to do right now. Kendo said she invited a few other friends from school to hang out with us today, which I'm fine with. I'm excited to meet others from her class, since she always talks about how they're so funny and how they like to compete against Class 1-A (the class above them).
She seems to have grown really close to them too, and after watching the Sports Festival, I can understand how. Her friends and classmates seem to be amazing!
She's already introduced me to a few of them, like Tetsutetsu and Ibara (or as I call her, Vine Chick). They both were really nice, and didn't seem to mind that I was quirkless, like many.
Walking up to the door, I knocked on it, and then stood back, waiting patiently for someone to answer. My (F/C) bag in hand, as I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to warm up a little. My
(h/c) locks were brushed out, and shaping the edges of my face.
I had furry boots on that my aunt sent me from America, along with a (f/c) stripped wool scarf.

Looking down at my feet, I could see the little bits of leaves crushed beneath my feet. I kept looking down until I heard the click of a door, "Ah! (Y/N)! You're here finally!"
She moved out of the way, as I walked in, handing her my bag as I took off my boots. I took my jacket off and hung it up with the rest of the coats.
I looked at her, and took my bag back from her, "Some of my friends are going to meet us at the mall, and then we'll probably all go out to eat afterwards,"
I nodded at her, "That's sounds good. Who all is here?" I walked with her, as we walked through the living room, "Hi Mr. And Mrs. Kendo!"
Her parents waved back at me, smiles on their faces, "Hello (Y/N)!"
Walking passed them, we got to the stairs, and headed up to her room. I knew exactly where it was as we neared the top. I could hear the sound of giggles and chattering as we kept walking,
"I swear, if anyone took my bean bag, I'm kick you out," Kendo said as she opened up the door.
Peeking in behind her, I could see 3 other girls; one with long black hair and dark eyes. She wore a red short sleeve t-shirt, with a light black jacket overtop, and light blue jeans.
Another girl was Ibara. Her long green vine hair draped down the sides of her face, and onto the floor. She wore a green and white patterned long sleeve shirt, along with black jeans.
The last girl had medium blonde hair, and horns on her head. She had big blue eyes that seemed to sparkle as I waved at me. She was wearing a nice pink blouse, and black leggings.
"(Y/N), this is Momo Yaoyorozu, she's in class 1-A, but her and I interned together. And this is Pony Tsunotori, she's an exchange student from America who joined our class recently. And you of course already know Ibara,"
I nodded, and waved at the girls, setting my bag down in an open corner in her room.
"Girls this is my childhood best friend, (Y/N) (L/N),"
I smiled at her statement and took a seat on the floor, "Awww Kendo, so happy that you think of me like that,"
"Yeah yeah, don't get too excited now about it," she giggled and waved her hand at me.
I looked over and saw that Pony was looking at me with a small smile, and she seemed like she was about to say something when Kendo spoke again, "Alright, well we should head over to the mall! Don't want to keep the others waiting on us,"
Momo nodded her head as she sat up from the bed. I stood up, groaning since I just sat down.
"Already??" I stretched my arms and yawned, being overdramatic with Kendo. She just rolled her eyes and shook her head, signalling us to get out of her room.
"Fine, fine," I said as I walked out, and towards the stairs. Quickly looking back, I turned forward, and slid down the stairs on my butt.
"(Y/N)! We talked about this!!!!" Kendo yelled at me as I ran towards the door, Ibara walking behind me. She giggled at my actions as I continued to run towards the door, slipping on my shoes.
"Alright. Let's go!"
_______Time Skip to the Mall_____________
"Alright. We're here. Now what?" I said as I sipped on my (*favorite drink*) that I got from a small stand in the mall.

We all looked around at each other in silence, as Kendo was texting someone on her phone, "They should be here soon,"
"You said that 10 minutes ago..." Ibara said with a small sigh.
Momo then gave a sigh as well and stood up, pulling out her wallet, then her credit card, "Well I say, in the meantime, we go shopping for a bit, before they all get here. I'll get you girls a few things,"
My eyes went a little wide in surprise. I didn't expect her to pay for all of our stuff, since that would be a lot. But I remember Kendo saying something before about how Momo's family was pretty rich or something like that.
This proved that statement, as I asked, "Wouldn't that be a lot? I can pay for my own st-"
"It's no issue, really! Just think of it as my good deed for the day,"
I shrugged my shoulders, and everyone else seemed to follow as we walked around the mall, going to different stores, trying on dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, and shoes.
We had only gone to about 3 stores before Kendo said her other friends were here.
I looked down at the small bag I had in hand. I only bought a vintage t-shirt that said 'Lasagna is Spaghetti Cake' and a pair of jeans that Momo insisted on me buying. I didn't want to get much, because I felt bad for using her money, but she kept urging me to get more, to which I politely turned down:
"(Y/N)!!! Just get this dress! It's super cheap and super cute!!"
"Uh...Sorry Momo...But it literally will be showing my entire coconuts if I put that on in it...."
"Oh..."
Yes. That was what happened.
"Alright, let's go meet up with them." Ibara said as we all walked to the middle square of the mall.
In the distance I could see a group of teenagers walking towards us. Most of them seemed to be boys, and maybe a few girls, but I don't tell.
As they got closer, I saw them in more detail.
As I was looking at them though, my stomach seemed to drop a little, as a forced nervous smile placed itself on my lips,
IS THAT NEITO MONOMA!?!?
I looked at Kendo, who was just smiling and waving.
I've told her before about the whole incidents that happened back in grade school with Neito. And even told her of every comment, name, push, shove, and trip he did to me, and yet SHE INVITED HIM.
I said a string of swear words under my breath, as I started to fumble with my hands. I quickly walked to the back of the group, not wanting to be seen.
'WHAT THE HELL KENDO!
She looked back at me, and shook her head. Maybe this was part of a plan to get back at him, or something??
"Sorry for being so late, Kendo! It's so unmanly of us..." Some silver haired boy said as he rubbed the back of his neck.
I hid behind Kendo, but could see out of the corner of my eye, Neito looking at me. I didn't look back, but decided that I need to hold my ground, so I stepped a little to the side.
"Oh, it's fine! We were just about to walk around a bit more,"
I could see a few of the boys look at me, curiosity in their eyes. Kendo seemed to notice this, and quickly stepped to the side, and put her hand out, gesturing towards me.
"Oh sorry, I almost forgot to introduce you guys! This is (Y/N) (L/N)! The girl I told you guys about?"
I raised an eyebrow and looked over at her, "You talk about me?"
I could see her panic a little, raising her hands up in defense, "Nothing bad!! I just told them about how you're my best friend and-"
I put a hand on her shoulder, laughing, "I was just joking with you..."
Realizing this, she looked at me with a straight face, "Oh," then she started to laugh and then looked over at the boys, "Well then..."
I turned and looked at the group of boys, seeing that some of the girls had already walked over to talk to them.
"The silver haired one is Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu-"
"That's a long *ss name," I interjected as she nodded and shrugged her shoulders, laughing a little.
"Yeah, it is. But the red spikey haired boy with him is Kirishima Eijirou. Next to him, the blonde spikey haired boy is Bakugou; he's a huge d*ck. But he's friends with Kirishima, so he tagged along. They're both from class 1-A, and-"
"Ohhh I remember him from the Sports Festival...." She nodded and we both looked up to see the group has started to walk away, so we trailed behind.
I kept looking ahead, seeing that Monoma kept looking back behind at us, which I didn't care for. Each time I would look at him in the eyes, and glare.
"Next is the purple haired boy, Shinsou Hitoshi. He's in 1-C, but he's super chill, and we hung out a little bit at the Sport Festival. Next to him is Kaminari Denki, the boy with blonde hair and the black stripe in his hair. Him and Ibara kind of became friends after the Sports Festival, and I'm trying to get them together now, so-"
"Ohhh! They both fought each other in the Festival! I remember that fight," I laughed a bit, and looked at Kendo, who was giving a small glare at me.
"(Y/N), you keep doing that interrupting thing again,"
I had a problem with interrupting Kendo sometimes, which you could tell. I didn't mean to, it just happened.
"Sorry... continue,"
"Last is Neito Monoma. Yes, I know you know him and don't like him. But I invited him 1) He's somewhat my friend and 2) I want you two to get along and become friends again."
I sighed and looked down, stopping. I let the others go ahead, and stayed with Kendo, looking at her with sadness.
"That's probably not going to happen, Kendo. Remember, the reason he left me was and is because I'm quirkless. Nothing's changed, so why would he want to be friends with me now!"
Looking up at Kendo, I saw her look off to the side, but then at me... Or at least j thought so.
Looking to where she was looking at, I turned and saw Monoma standing behind me. I jumped and made a little shriek as he scared me a little.
I turned around and looked at Kendo, who managed to disappear on me.
Great...
"(Y/N)-"
"No. I don't want to hear it." I crossed my arms and looked away. I then turned around and took one step forward before I felt a hand on my shoulder.
I tried to pull my shoulder away, but I felt the hand's grip get tighter, as it felt harder to pull away. Looking out of the corner of my eye, I saw a silver hand on me.
"Oh come on." I rolled my eyes and turned around, seeing Neito turn from silver to his normal self,
"Please, just listen to me for a few minutes,"
I sighed and kept my arms crossed. I didn't want to hear what he had to say, but I was curious. I wanted to know why he left me that day. What in his head caused him to leave me, to think that I was below him.
So I looked at him, and motioned for him to continue with his words.
He took a deep breathe, and bit his lip a little before nodding slightly to himself,
"I want to apologise...for everything. I was a jerk, and yes it was selfish of me to belittle you back then. I got mixed in with the wrong people, and I thought it was cool to pick on you, and call you all those names, but I realize now that it was wrong. I feel guilty everytime I think about it, and Kendo telling us of how amazing you are with all of her funny stories makes me miss what we used to be. So please, I'm not saying we have to be friends again, and I'm not saying you have to forgive me, but I just wanted to let you know, I'm so sorry. I'm sorry for all the pain and crap I put you through. I'm sorry."
I stared at him in shock. I didn't know what to say to that. But I guess my body knew how to react, because in the matter of seconds, my arms were wrapped around his shoulders, and my face was buried into his chest. My tears soaked hi shirt as I shook my head, my choked voice whispered, "It's okay..."
He wrapped his arms around me too, and put his head on top of mine.
"So can we start over?"
I nodded, not even letting my voice speak anymore. I knew that if I spoke, he wouldn't be able to understand me. My voice felt dead as I kept my arms wrapped around.
But then I pulled away as I felt him let go, and saw him looked down at me. I felt his hand life my head up and he smiled at me, whipping the tears from my eyes.
I giggled, pulling myself away from him. I looked up at him, and stuck my hand out, "I'm (Y/N) (L/N). I am a quirkless 16 year old, little rat who goes to Otarhari High."
He put his hand in mine, and shook his head with a dumb smile on, "You're not a rat, but I'm Neito Monoma. A 16 year old, amazing, narcissistic hero who goes to UA High."
I shrugged my shoulders, and shook my head, looking at the blonde bimbo.
Just then I heard some clapping come from behind me. As I turned around, I saw Kendo with a stupid grin on her face as she clapped her hands, "See, I knew you two would finally make u-"
"I KNEW IT!!!" I yelled and threw my hands up.
"(Y/N)!! YOU'RE INTERRUPTING AGAIN!!!"
I turned around and looked at Neito, "So you wanna go get coffee or slushies together?" I suggested as he nodded his head. He then placed his hands on his hips and posed a little,
"And I can tell you the many stories of how class 1-B is better than class 1-A!"
He had a dark aura around him as I shook my head...
"Oh Lord help me..."

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)
