You walked through the corridors and looked around. You always noticed people staring. You weren't really a talkative person. Considering you were partly siren you couldn't really speak much. It wouldn't be good. No one could find out about your secret. Because of this people would often think you're mute, mysterious, that quiet one.
You passed a group of Slytherin and the one and only chosen one before turning around the corner.
'I'm going to ask her.' Harry said. 'If I don't do it then she might be asked by someone else.'
'Well she can't answer you mate. She has never spoken to anyone.' Ron said.
'Maybe she has hee reasons. She can still smile and nod.' Hermione said.
'What if she's deaf?' Ron asked.
'Then she wouldn't pass her tests this easily.' Harry pointed out.
Harry glanced into the corridor and saw that you were gone.
'I have to go after her.'
'Not so fast, Potter (POTTAH).'
Harry sighed and turned around, only to face Draco and his goons.
'What do you want, Malfoy.'
'If anyone would ask Crystal, it will be me. Who would want to go out with you?' He asked and smirked.
'She. I believe she has an interest in me.' Harry said.
Draco let out a loud laugh.
'Oh please Potter. Just because you're the so called: "chosen one" doesn't mean that every girl has an interest in you. They rather have some mystery about once personality.' Draco smiled cocky.
'Erm.. a huge ego, bully and overconfident? What else is there to discover?' Harry sighed.
'How dare you!' Draco hissed. 'Wait until my father hears about this!'
When you were about to pass the same corridor you heard the boys bicker. You saw them and their friends just waiting to finish.

'Lets go Ron.' Hermione sighed.
They walked away and were quickly followed by Draco's friends. You were confident enough to approach them.
'Guys!' You hissed.
The boys stopped and looked at you in surprise and shock.
'I'm sorry but I'm not going to the ball. I don't care that both of you want to ask me. You're both very nice but I just can't go.'
'You're-' Harry started.
'Talking? Yes I can talk.. Just not too long. I have to go.'
You sighed and walked away towards the Gryffindor common room. The boys looked at each other.
'Did she just..'
'Yes.' Draco answered.
'Why can't she go?' Harry wondered.
'Do I look like I fucking know?' Draco asked.
'You usually think you know everything so I don't know.' Harry sighed.
Draco rolled his eyes.
-
It was the night of the yuleball. Draco and Harry were already at the ball, dancing with the other girls they asked. They didn't really enjoy.
'Why can't we go and ask her?' Draco asked while passing Harry. 'Why she can't come. Maybe we can help her.'
Harry was quiet for a moment.
'Fine, but that doesn't mean I like you.' Harry sighed.
'Did I say it meant that?' Draco asked.
'Just come Malfoy!'
The two boys headed over to the Gryffindor common room. Draco kept complaining about why it had to be the Gryffindor common room but Harry just ignored him. He spoke the password and after some bickering with the fat lady about Draco she let you two in.
You were sitting on one of the couches of the common room. You were reading. Harry and Draco walked over to you. You looked up and sighed when you saw the two boys.

'Yes?' You asked.
'We were wondering why you weren't coming..' Harry said.
You sighed.
'I can't tell you why.' You simply stated.
'But we want to know.' Draco said while sitting down besides you.
'And I won't tell you.' You sighed.
Harry sat down besides Draco.
'But we deserve a reason Crystal.' Draco said.
You sighed and somewhere knew they were right.
'But it's a secret.' You mumbled.
'Pleeeeaaasssseeeee.' Harry said.
Draco sighed and joined in.
'Don't tell anyone. Promise me.'
'Promise.' The boys spoke in unison.
'When I talk for a very long time or when I sing.. my voice sounds like a singing Siren.. I'm half Siren.' You said.
'Is that why you never speak?' Harry asked.
'No, Potter. That isn't the reason. The reason is that you're a stupid idiot.' Draco sighed at his stupidness.
You let out a small chuckle.
'That's why I can't come. I don't want anyone to ever find out.' You said.
'But.. Maybe people should find out. They think you're kinda weird.' Draco explained.
'I don't care what people think of me.'
Harry grabbed your hand and pulled you up.
'Get dressed. We're going. This is like.. prom.' Harry smiled.
Draco looked at him in confusion and so did you.
'It's a muggle thing..' Harry sighed.
You sighed.
'I don't want to go.' You mumbled.
'Yes you do.' Draco said.
-
After the boys forced you to get dressed you walked with them into the yule ball.
'I'm nervous. Just go.. they'll love it. The music is boring anyways.'
Harry pushed you onto the stage. You nervously grabbed the microphone and looked at everyone. They were all looking at you. Harry and Draco talked to the band and they nodded. They started playing to song and you started singing along. (The song I mentioned, see the YouTube video)
Everyone looked at you and were amazed. She the song was over you quickly left the stage. You walked over to the boys while everyone was applauding.
'You were amazing!' Draco smiled.
You hugged him and then you hugged Harry.
'Thank you guys.' You smiled.
