The Yule ball was right around the corner and you were already worrying about it.. you already knew no one was going to ask you and that most of the people were taken already.

'Cheer up Y/N, I'm sure someone will ask you.' Harry said.

You knew he was trying to help.. you were a goth and no one seemed to really like you except Harry and the twins. You were a Slytherin so you were happy they at least accepted you.

'I think I'll be going alone.' You sighed.

You through the corridor and saw Draco, almost standing besides you. He was one of the reasons why your life was a living hell. But what you didn't know was that he secretly had a crush on you.

'Hey guys.' Harry smiled.

You looked up and saw Fred and George.

'Do you guys have dates?' George asked.

'Yes.' Harry just said.

You knew he wasn't going with the girl he wanted to go with. You shook your head.

'Y/N.. you don't have a date yet?' Fred asked you.

'Well it isn't really a surprise.' You spoke.

'Do you want to go with me?' Fred asked.

You smiled and blushed. You had a small crush on Fred and were so happy that he asked you.

'Of course I want to go with you.' You smiled and hugged him.

Fred smiled and hugged you back. The twins decided to leave and you and Harry stayed behind. When you wanted to turn to him, someone grabbed your sleeve and dragged you towards the Slytherin common room.. Draco Malfoy..

He pushed you inside and slammed the door behind him. You knew he was going to have a go at you and you didn't want it.

'Fred Weasley?! Do you want to be an outcast? Are you trying to be bullied by every Slytherin?! Are you that stupid to accept him as you date?!'

'It's non off your business.' You said.

'It is my business because you're a shame for the Slytherin house! You're accepting a Weasley! What are you? A filthy Gryffindor?!'

You gathered all your courage and slapped Draco across the cheek. You pushed him aside and walked away. You made your way out of the common room but felt that someone was following you. You looked back and saw Draco. He was furious. You quickly started running away from him.

Draco didn't care that you can through corridors filled with students and teachers. He had to catch up with you.

Fred saw that you were running away. He grabbed your wrist and pulled you towards him. You looked at him and saw him holding his wand.

'Flipendo!'

He casted it at Draco who fell to the floor. You and fre d both started running..

It was the night of the yule ball. Ginny and Hermione helped you with your dress so you could feel comfortable tonight. Although it didn't really seem to work. You felt insecure knowing that everyone you hated was also going to be there. Taking chances to humiliate you.

'You look amazing Y/N.' Ginny smiled. 'Fred is a lucky guy!'

You passed her a short smile but still didn't believe here.

'Y/N.. you're amazing, you look great.. everything will be fine! Don't worry too much.'

You turned to them and past them a small smile.

'Thank you guys.. I don't know what I'd do without you.'

They smiled and you three started heading to the great hall. It was already packed with students. You tried to avoid eye contact and looked for Fred. When he saw you he immediately smiled. You looked beautiful. You approached him but stopped when you saw Draco and Pansy. He was looking at you and wanted to come over to you. You let Ginny go and ran out of the great hall.

Fred started following you, not sure what was going on. He grabbed your wrist and you turned around.

'What's wrong?' He asked you.

'I just.. I saw Draco and I panicked.. I'm just.. So insecure with him around. I'm afraid that everything will go wrong and that I ruin your night.'

Fred didn't say anything and just pulled you into a hug. You hugged him back. He then suddenly stepped back a bit and grabbed your chin. He pulled it up and forced you to look at him.

'You're beautiful and you'll never ruin my night.' Fred smiled before connecting his lips sit with yours.

You kissed him back. It felt amazing.. Fred was such a sweet guy. He actually cared for you. He pulled back and you smiled at him. He grabbed your hand and you two walked back to the great hall.

You missed the first dance and the rock music was already playing. Fred smiled and pulled you into the dancing crowd. He let your hands go and started dancing with you.

You laughed and decided to let yourself go. You didn't feel like holding back. You felt crazy but you made Fred smile and that was all you cared about at that point. Hermione and Krum were dancing besides you. They were also a nice pair.. Although you expected her to go with Ron.

Fred pulled you closer and spun you around. You smiled and continued dancing with him. After awhile Hermione tapped on your shoulder. You leaned in so you could hear he speak.

'You guys want to get a drink with us?' She asked.

You nodded and grabbed Freds hand. You two followed Hermione and Krum. Hermione made a small pit stop to invite Harry and Ron who were sad and bored. But they didn't seem to like it that Hermione invited them. She sighed and walked towards your group.

'Idiots.' You muttered while walking towards the table with drinks.

Fred got you some pumpkin juice and you smiled while taking it from him.

'I love tonight. Thank you.' You said to Fred.

'I wouldn't want to spend it with anyone else.' Fred smiled.

'Really? I can think of a million different people.'

You turned around and so did Fred. Why couldn't that little brat just leave you alone. You immediately looked at the floor. More students were curious about what was going on.

'I'd rather spend my Yule ball as Snape's date than ask her.'

A few people laughed. You bit your lip and Fred pulled you a little towards him, as if he was telling you he'd protect you.

'That's you're opinion. Not everyone is as narrow minded as you are.' Fred hissed.

'I'm only saying what everyone is thinking. She doesn't belong here. She isn't a Slytherin. She doesn't belong in any house. Not even in Gryffindor, the most pathetic house of them all.'

'I wish she was in Gryffindor so I could always keep her away from Snakes like you. She belong at Hogwarts. She's a powerful witch.'

Almost the entire great hall was looking at the scene. You felt very uncomfortable.

'She's a freak! Completely worthless! How could anyone possibly like her?! You must be out of your mind!'

'Listen up you filthy brat.' Fred hissed while walking towards him. 'Maybe you haven't taken the time to get to know her but I did. She isn't worthless she has more worth then you have, you're just an idiot wirh daddy issues! She is the most amazing person at this school and I've actually fallen for her.'

You looked at Fred and blushed. He turned around, his cheeks slightly red.

'Well.. There it is.' He smiled. 'Do you want to be my girlfriend?' He asked you.

You heard mumbling around you from the students. You smiled and walked over to him.

'Of course.' You smiled before shortly kissing him.

Draco didn't know what to say and just walked away. You walked after him and grabbed your wand. You casted a spell and changed him into a ferret. You walked over to him and picked him up.

'That's what you get from messing with me.' You smiled.
