You were sitting in your boyfriend's office. Severus Snape. You loved him. You had been dating for a couple of months now and your relationship was good.

But Severus was always busy. He just came back from a conversation with Dumbledore and now he was just preparing his next lesson and you already saw the pile of tests on the corner of his desk.

'Severus.'

He looked up and looked at you.

'Yes?'

'I think I'm going to go do something else. I'll see you later.'

You got up.

'Wait! No stop! Why?' He asked.

You looked up at him. Was he seriously asking you why? You couldn't believe that.

'Why? Are you seriously asking that?' You asked while raising you brows.

'Yes..?' He said carefully.

You sighed and shook your head. You moved your chair forwards.

'Y/N-'

'The fact that you don't see it, only makes it worse.' You said.

'Tell me what's wrong.' He said.

You wanted too but you already felt that this was going to end up in an argument. But you also wanted to get it off your chest. It had been like this for the last few weeks and you hated it. You wanted his attention for like 5 minutes and you couldn't even get that.

'You're constantly busy! For the past few weeks it's like you don't even want to spend time with me! You just came back from Dumbledore and I was waiting here for you. You just give me a kiss, sit down and start working. Like I almost don't even exist.'

Severus knew that he had been busy but he thought you understood. The exams were coming up and he had to make sure to prepare his students.

'The exams are coming up Y/N, you know that I have to get these tests checked and my lesson have to be prepared.' He said.

'But I can't even get 5 minutes of your attention?! Is that so difficult?!'

You were now starting to get pissed off. He didn't even try to understand you? What he was doing wasn't acceptable.

'I'm sorry! I can't always give you the attention I want to give you, just because I also have a job.'

'I have a job here too and I always managed to be done at the end of the day! And it's not just sometimes. This has been going on for the past month! I haven't even spend 5 minutes talking to you in general in these past month! I fall asleep before you even go to bed!' You hissed.

Snape saw that you were angry but he didn't really get it. You never said anything about it and now you were angry all of a sudden? He didn't even get the chance to change it.

'I'm sorry! But maybe if you had told me before I could have done something about it! This is the first time you even tell me about it!'

'Because I didn't want to bother you with it! I thought you'd see it yourself! But you're very ignorant!'

'Because I thought it didn't bother you! Because you never talk to me about things that bother you and then you get angry out of nowhere!'

'Maybe if you had paid more attention to me I would have told you!' You almost yelled.

'Maybe if you would have told me, I would have giving you more attention!'

You couldn't believe this. You didn't want this to go the wrong way. You turned around and stormed out of his office, slamming the door behind you.

You made your way to your own office. It wasn't far from his office. One your way back you stumbled across McGonagall. She stopped you.

'Are you okay?' She asked.

You looked at her.

'Yeah.. just a fight with Severus.' You said.

You weren't okay. You hated fighting. Especially when people started yelling at you. This whole thing was making you very sad.

'What happened?' She asked.

'I just confronted him with the fact that he's always busy and that he hasn't properly talked to me for the last month and it turned into an argument. It'll be fine.'

She saw that you were far from okay.

'I'm sure you two will work it out. Severus loves you. This isn't going to break you two up.'

You hugged her. She smiled and hugged you back. You just really needed a hug. You let her go and smiled weakly.

'I'll go to bed now.'

'Alright. Try to talk to severus tomorrow.'

'I will.'

You walked into your office and immediately made your way to the back. You had a door there that led to your own room. You usually slept with Severus, even though he didn't go to bed with you, in his office.

You opened the door and walked in. You immediately closed the door behind you. You sat down for a moment. Luckily you were used to going to bed alone lately.

You rubbed your hands past your face. You really just wanted to cry. Just get out what you've been holding back. You didn't want to hold it back anymore. You allowed your tears to just flow. You heard footsteps in your office. You sighed, already having an idea of who it was.

'Y/N?'

Yup.. Severus. He also hated to fight with you. He wanted to make up with you. You tried to calm yourself down. He opened the door to look and you looked away from the door, hoping that he wouldn't see it. You took a deep breath.

'Y/N..'

'Go away.' You said. 'I don't want to talk to you.'

Severus walked over to you and crouched down in front of you. Grabbed your chin. You pushed his hand away. He grabbed your chin again and turned your head towards him. He saw your red, poofy eyes.

As soon as he looked at you, you just broke down crying again. He just hugged you. You hugged him back and held him tightly against him. Severus then realised that he should have noticed it..

'I'm sorry..' He said.

You didn't say anything, you just held him while slowly calming down. Severus sat back up and you leaned your forehead against his.

'I should have told you..' You sniffed. 'It's not your fault.'

'I should have seen it.. I could have noticed that you weren't as bright as you were.'

'I guess we both caused this.' You said.

Severus moved some hair away from your face. He hated to see you cry. He wanted you to show him your beautiful smile.

'I'm okay now.' You said. 'I need to understand.. I know. I just.. I just miss you. Even though I see you, I still miss you.'

'I might have been too caught up in work.. and I apologise for that. I really didn't want you to feel this hurt.'

'I know. I know you never meant for that too happen.'

Snape laid his hands on your side of your face and brushed his thumb past your pink lips. He smiled and kissed you. You kissed him back right away and moved your hand to the side of his face to deepen the kiss. Severus pulled back and showed you one of his rare smiles. You smiled back at him.

'That's better.' He smiled. 'Gorgeous.'

You blushed and your smile grew wider.

'I love you Y/N. I will change this. I will make sure to spend more time with you. I promise.'

'I love you too. I'm sorry for fighting about this.'

'Its okay.. how about I stop working and you join me to my office and we spend the rest of the night together?'

You immediately got up.

'Sounds like a good plan.' You smiled.
