You were sitting in the woods by yourself. You often went there. It was nice and quiet.

You were a metamorphosis. There weren't many students who had the same. There wasn't much judgement or bullying involved with it.

You just weren't very popular. Maybe it was because you were friends with Luna. Luna was amazing. She wasn't weird like everybody thought. She was special.

'Hello Y/N.'

You looked up and smiled when you saw Luna. She sat down besides you. You looked at her for a moment.

'Hi Luna, how are you today?'

'I'm okay.' She smiled. 'You?'

'Me too.' You smiled back.

Luna sat back again the tree you were sitting under. She looked into the woods for a moment.

She always said that she was okay but you knew that all the judgement hurt her sometimes. It wasn't her fault. She was who she was and that was amazing. Others were fake and trying to come across as something they're not.

'Luna, are you sure?' You asked while raising your brows.

She looked at you and nodded.

'Do I have to give you my entire speech again about how great you are?' You asked.

Luna chuckled.

'No, don't worry about it.' She smiled. 'I was actually looking for you. You weren't in the common room so I figured you were here.'

'You know me so well.' You grinned. 'I just wanted to get out of the crowd.'

'It's busy at Hogwarts. I get it.' Luna smiled.

She looked around.

'I wasn't avoiding you. If that's what you're thinking.'

She looked at you right away.

'Why would I think that?' She asked.

'I don't know.' You shrugged.

You looked at her.

'I wanted to get out of the crowd too. It's sometimes a little too much.' Luna said. 'Luckily I found you here.'

'I don't know if you call that lucky.' You chuckled.

She laughed a little and turned back to you. Her beautiful eyes looking into yours.

'I think I'm lucky. I mean you're one of the only people who gets Me.'

'I have the same with you.' You smiled.

'Isn't it amazing?' Luna asked.

You weren't quite sure what she meant. You could say yes but that would be pretending that you had an idea off what she was saying.

'What?' You asked.

'That two people can have so much in common and can have so much fun together.'

'Yes. It is quite amazing.'

'To be honest I didn't think I'd find anyone at Hogwarts who'd like me. I have never had anyone like you in my life before.'

'I'm glad I can be that person to you. I mean we've been friends for so long. I can't even imagine my life without you.' You said.

And that was true. You've known her for so long. You wouldn't know what to do without her. Of course the fact that you liked it also caused that a little.

'Listen Y/N, I do really think you're special.. and I like that. The fact that you're not normal like everyone else.. It speaks to me. I like you.' She smiled.

'I like you too.' You smiled. 'Maybe more than you think..' You spoke softly.

'What?' She asked.

'What?' You asked.

'I swore you just said something.'

'I-Its nothing.' You tried to brush it off.

She sat a little closer to you.

'Tell me.' She smiled.

'No. No it would ruin everything.'

'How do you know.'

You shrugged.

'I just know.'

'You don't! Tell me. You can trust me.'

You sighed. Maybe it was time that she'd know. What could go wrong.. everything. But that was a bit negative.

'I said.. I like you more than you might know.' You blurted out.

Luna looked at you.

'Do you mean that..' she started.

'Yes.. I think that because we're so close and because I can be myself around you.. I like you.. a lot. Like more then a friend.. and I didn't dare to tell you because I didn't want to lose you.'

Luna smiled.

'I'm glad you told me.. I like you too.' She smiled.

'Really?'

She just nodded. Your smile grew wider. You sat up and leaned towards her. Luna smiled and pressed her lips against yours.
