Hermione hurried through the corridors. She had never ran this hard. Not even when she was late for class.

She looked around, looking for you. She had the fix this. She knew she couldn't but she should at least try.

'Hold up Hermione.' Harry said while grabbing her.

She stopped and turned to him. Harry saw the tears in her eyes.

'What's wrong?'

'Have you seen Y/N?' She asked.

'No I ha-'

She grabbed Ron who was passing and stopped him.

'Have you seen Y/N? Please tell me you've seen Y/N.'

'What's up? Trouble in paradise?' Ron asked.

Hermione tried to pull her hand out of Harry's grip while looking around.

'Hermione-'

'I need to see her. Please Ron, have you seen her.'

'No I haven't, why?'

'I told her something. I had to tell her. I wanted her to know.. but I only upset her.'

Harry and Ron didn't know Hermione's secret yet. She didn't want to tell them yet. She had to see you first. She loved you and she didn't want you to be scared of her.

'What did you tell her? Did you two break up?' Harry asked.

'That's what I'm trying to stop right now. So please let me go so I can find her.'

Harry let her go and she ran away. She asked almost everyone you knew if they knew where you were. Eventually she heard that you were last seen heading back to the common room. Hermione had been there 3 times already, but maybe you were back there now.

She hurried into the common room but you weren't there. Maybe you were in your room. You shared it with Hermione and a few others.

She hurried upstairs and she saw you sitting on your bed. You looked at the door and got upright away.

'Y/N.. I've been looking for you everywhere.'

'Please just leave me alone Hermione. I-I can't deal with this right now.' You said while stepping back a little.

Hermione hated to see you like this. You were scared of her? She never meant to let that happen. She just had to tell someone. Her heart was breaking seeing you act that way.

'Please listen to me.' Hermione said.

You heard the panic in her voice.

'Please Hermione. I can't right now. You know know how scared I am of him. I've told you. I-I.. knowing this I.. I can't.'

You saw that Hermione got tears in her eyes. You felt horrible.. but you couldn't help it.

'Y/N.. You know I love you. You know that I'm nothing like him! I thought I was a muggleborn! I swear I didn't know! Voldemort is not my father. Not to me. I.. seeing that I can love you means I'm nothing like him.' Hermione said, her voice breaking.

You know you could believe her.. but you also knew her father wouldn't approve of this.

'What about Malfoy?'

'He knew. He was just playing along. He never told me. No one did until Dumbledore decided to do so.'

You just looked at her. You didn't know what to say. You felt bad for her but you were scared. Scared of losing Hermione, scared of being forced to become a death eater or maybe even die. Distancing yourself seemed like a good option but you almost couldn't. You loved her too much.

'Y/N.. why are you distancing yourself form me?' Hermione choked. 'I just had to tell someone. I can't deal with this thought by myself. I trust you. That's why I told you. I need you.'

'I'm distancing myself because I can't stand the thought of You becoming a death eater and possibly getting killed! I don't want to lose you like that so I thought it would be best to just lose you now.'

'But I don't want to lose you.' Hermione choked before tears ran down her cheeks.

It broke your heart to hear her say that. You wanted over to her and laid your hand on your shoulder. She looked up and opened your arm and she hugged you right away.

'I know I should have talked to you. I don't want to lose you either. I'm just scared.'

'I'm too.'

You let her go and wiped her tears away.

'I'll help you through this.' You smiled. 'I just had to process it.. I just had to talk to you.'

Hermione smiled a little. You leaned in and pressed your lips against hers. Hermione kissed you back right away.
