'Do you honestly think she's going to say yes?' Remus asked Sirius while he was looking at you.

'Everyone always says yes.' Sirius said.

That was true. Sirius was known as one of the players of the school. Yet every girl wanted to have a go with him. You were different though. You thought Sirius was nice and you liked him.. but you didn't want to date him. It would only break your heart.

He didn't know that though. He actually really liked you. His friends knew that it wasn't something for him to feel. You were friend with them too but you didn't seem to notice it at all.

'That's the problem. She's friends with us, she heard your stories. Y/N isn't the type of girl to say yes to someone like you.'

'But I really like her. This is different.'

'And you think she'll believe you?'

'If rather try and lose than not say anything.'

Remus sighed while Sirius appreaced you. You looked away from your classmates while he stopped infront of you.

'Can we talk for a moment?' He asked.

'Erm, sure.'

Sirius grabbed your wrist and took you with him towards a more quiet corridor.

'What's up you smiled.'

'So I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me sometime.'

You really wanted to say yes.. but you also didn't want to.

'I mean.. Sirius, I like you but.. you're a player. I don't want that. I'm sorry.'

You wanted to walk away.

'Wait Y/N.'

You sighed and looked at him.

'This is different. I really really like you.'

'Tricks like that aren't going to work on me Sirius. I'm sorry.'

'But I'm serious! Y/N, please. What can I do to show you?' He asked.

You looked at him.

'If you show me that you can back away from your habits, I might give you a chance.' You said. 'But I don't know if you can do that. You should think about it.'

You then walked away.

The following day you were walking towards class.

'Hi Y/N.'

You looked up and saw Sirius.

'Oh, hi.' You smiled.

'I thought about what you said and I'll do it.'

'You'll do what?' You asked.

'I'm going to spend a month showing you that I am serious about me liking you.'

'An entire month?' You asked. 'You're mental.'

'You can't refuse it. You don't have a choice. We're starting tonight. I'm going to take you on a night walk.'

'Sirius-'

He grabbed your arm and stopped you.

'Please Y/N. Let me show you that I care.'

'I know you care.. that's not it.'

'Then what is it?' He asked.

You sighed and looked at him.

'Okay.. Okay fine. I'll wait for you after dinner.'

Sirius smiled.

'Thank you.'

It had now been 2 weeks. You felt yourself falling more in love with Sirius. He was spending almost every spare minute with you.

'Stop.' You laughed.

'What? I'm not doing anything.' Sirius laughed.

'You're staring at me.' You blushed while hiding yourself behind your book.

'Are you blushing?' He asked.

'No.' You said while holding your book even higher.

Sirius got rid of your book and looked at your red cheeks.

'You are.'

'Stop I'm trying to study.' You grinned while grabbing your book.

You and Sirius smiled at each other for a moment. You quickly looked back at your book.

It was going really well. Sirius was were happy with the way things were progressing. He liked you even more every day. He loved it that he decided to do this.

After the month was over you two were sitting at the lake.

'Well.. What do you think?' Sirius asked.

'About what?' You asked.

'Well.. It's been a month.'

'Has it been?'

'Yes.' He smiled.

You looked at the grass for a moment. Sirius didn't dare to say anything. You stared at his hand laying on the grass. You slowly reached over with your hand towards him.

Your pinkey grabbed his thumb. Sirius looked at it and watched you cover his hand. You looked up at him and smiled.

'If you promise to keep paying attention to me like you did.. I'd love to give it a go.' You smiled.

Sirius looked at you and leaned in a little. He hesitated for a moment. You laid your other hand on his cheek and kissed him.
