You put away some plates while listening to all the chatting around you. It was Christmas day and you were spending it at the Weasleys. Percy invited you. He was your boyfriend. Had been for many years.

You loved him a lot. It was amazing to be here. You felt two arms wrap around your waste. You smiled as a pair of lips kissed you tender skin softly.

'Hey.' Percy said.

'Hi honey.' You smiled.

You turned around and kissed him deeply. Pecry kissed you back right away. Molly entered the kitchen.

'Goodmorning Percy.' She smiled.

Percy pulled back.

'Hey mum.' He kissed her cheek and turned back to you. 'So Bill and Fleur are gonna get married in a few months. Are you excited?' He asked You.

You didn't know why he suddenly started about this.

'Of course.' You smiled. 'I love wedding. Since I was a little girl I've told my mum that I want a big wedding one day.'

Percy smiled. You looked at the clock.

'Ah shoot. I promised Ginny I'd help her with something. I'll be right back.' You smiled before giving Percy a small kiss.

Percy watched you leave.

'Why did you suddenly start about the wedding?' Molly asked.

Percy turned to her.

'Well I..' He reached into his pocket and grabbed a little box. 'Actually wanted to propose to her today.. but I don't want to steal Bills moment.' He said.

Molly looked at him. She then smiled brightly.

'Honey, you love this woman. She has been so important to you. There is a war coming up, things are all messed up.. you should do it. Else you might regret it.'

Percy smiled and put the box away.

'Thank you, mum.'

Molly hugged him and he hugged her back.

Later that day were looking for Percy. You saw him sitting there on the couch. You smiled and sat down besides you.

'I haven't seen you since this morning.' You smiled. 'It's Christmas day, you're not avoiding me, are you?' You asked.

Percy looked at you and grabbed your hand.

'Of course not.' He smiled.

He looked at you for a moment. He couldn't wait to ask you. He just didn't know when he could ask. He wanted to ask you underneath the mistletoe.. but you both hadn't really walked under it together.

'Dinner everyone!' Molly shouted.

You got up and walked towards the kitchen. Percy joined your side. He had been nervous all day. He looked at his mother. She signed towards you, telling him the he should go for it.

'How' He mouthed. You looked up from your food and looked at him.

'Are you okay? You're quiet.' You said while laying your hand on his.

'I'm fine. Don't worry about me.' He smiled.

You kissed his cheek and continued eating. It was a lot of fun to spend Christmas at his family. You got yourself a sweater with the first letter of your name on it. You cherished them. They were very comfortable.

You got up to put your plate away. Percy grabbed his plate and got up too. He had to ask you today. Molly grabbed her wand and moved the mistletoe from the other side of the room to the door You were about to walk through. No one noticed it.

'Oh.. Y/N, Percy, look.' She said.

You stopped and looked up. You smiled when you saw the mistletoe. Percy looked at his mother who got up and smiled at him. She took your plates.

'I don't remember that being there.' You laughed.

You turned to Percy. You stepped closer and you wanted to kiss him but he stopped you. You looked at him in a bit of confusion.

'I've been waiting all day for this.' He said.

'What?' You asked.

Percy reached into his pocket. He got down on one knee.

'No, are you serious?' You asked while tears came up in your eyes.

You covered your mouth and tried not to cry right away. Percy opened the box and you saw a beautiful ring. You felt some tears ran down your cheek.

'I know that bill and Fleur are about to get married.. and this is not to steal their thunder.. There is so much going to happen. I just want to know that after it all I can be with the love of my life for the rest of my life.. Y/N, will you marry me?' He asked.

'Yes. Yes, of course. Yes.' You spoke through your tears.

Percy slid the ring around your finger and you kissed him while he got up. When you pulled back You hugged him.

'I love you so much.' Percy smiled.

'I love you too. So much.'

Percy let you go and wiped your tears away before kissing you once more.
