I was sitting in the lobby, waiting on news about Ino and Sasuke. I realized I was sitting like Sasuke, and leaned back in my seat. I sat back up when Tsunade walked in, and she walked up to me.
"Y/n, I have good news, and bad news." She said, crouching down to my level.
"Okay, what is it?" I asked her.
"Okay. I'll start with the good news first, because I think you need to hear it. Ino is going to be perfectly fine. I got her fully recovered, and she'll be able to go home after four." Tsunade said.
"Okay, what's the bad news? Did we not get Sasuke?" I asked.
"I still don't have any updates on the Sasuke mission, sorry. The bad news is, she will no longer be able to be a shinobi. We offered to get her a replacement arm, but she refused because she thinks it'd be wrong of her to take another person's arm, when she isn't even one of the strongest in the village." Tsunade explained.
"What? But, why not? She could get a prosthetic!" I said.
"A prosthetic doesn't have any chakra, Y/n. She would have to do her handsigns with one hand, and I've only heard of three that can do that." She said.
"Dammit. Whatever, it's fine. It doesn't matter as long Ino's okay." I said.
After we finished talking, Kakashi came in with Naruto on his shoulder. Tsunade helped him get Naruto into a room, and came back out a while later.
"Y/n, I hate to say this, but Sasuke got away. I know you don't really care all that much, but I know it's awful for you that Ino lost her arm for nothing." She said, placing a hand on my shoulder.

"I wouldn't say for nothing." I responded, looking up at her with my Mangekyou Sharingan.
"Incredible. Never thought I'd see it up close like this. Well, it'll be about three years before Orochimaru can do anything to Sasuke, so we'll have three years to wait. What do you plan to do?" She asked me.
"I'm gonna train for half that time. Then I'm going home. I need to do something important if I'm going to have the chance of facing Sasuke and Orochimaru at the same time." I responded.
She nodded, and left me. After a little bit longer Kakashi walked in, reading his book. I stood up, and walked over to him.
"Oh, hey there Y/n." He said, putting his book away. "What can I help you with?" He asked.
"I want to ask you to train me. Not for the whole three year period, but just for about a year and a half. You're the only person who has a sharingan that I can ask." I said.
"I see. Meet me at the training grounds at about......let's say seven. Your training will begin then. Why don't you want me to train me for the whole three years? I would gladly do it." Kakashi said.
"Because I'm going to return to my home. I have two things I need to do, but I'll be back before we go after Sasuke again." I explained.
"Alright then. See you later." Kakashi said, walking out.
I waited a little while longer, and Ino walked out of her hospital room. I stood up, and she ran over to me. She threw her arm over my shoulder to hug me, and I wrapped my arms around her.
"Y/n, I'm so sorry! All I did was weigh you down!" She said, about to cry.

"It's not your fault. I'm the one who insisted you come. Then I asked you to handle something too much for you. It's all my fault. I'm so, so sorry Ino." I said, shedding a tear.
"Whatever, it doesn't matter. It's already over. Come on, let's go get something to eat." She said, dragging me by my arm.

My training with Kakashi's done. I knocked on the door to Ino's home, and she opened it not long after.
"Ready to go, Y/n?" She asked.
"I sure am. You ready to meet my family?" I asked.
"Sure am. Let's go." She said.

We arrived home, and everyone gathered around us.
"Y/n! You've returned! With a girl, no less. We've miss you, my son!" My mother and father said simultaneously.
"Uh, can you guys show Ino here where my room is. I need to discuss something with Toneri." I said.
Some of them nodded and helped her, and the rest led me to Toneri.
"Y/n, it's been so long. Did you learn anything of Kaguya, or the tenseigan?" He asked me.
"The sand village was completely useless in finding any of that information. I moved to the Leaf Village, and it was much better. I couldn't find anything about Kaguya or the tenseigan, but there is a whole clan there with byakugan." I explained.
He nodded to himself, and I thought for a second before remembering something.
"Speaking of Byakugan, I need a favor." I said, causing him to raise an eyebrow.

Until a fateful day when a game of hide and seek turned into tragedy. When she woke up, her life had turned on its head, everything she had now slipping away from her. That day her quiet life began— an unforgiving life where all odds are stacked against her. **************** Hi there! This is my first webnovel story! I hope you will enjoy it and help me make it better! I try to keep my chapter lenghts between 1,500-2,500 words The story will follow Silika, the young daughter of an aristocratic count who becomes handicapped and must adapt to a world not designed for people in her situation. She will have to struggle through her disability, religion, family, abuse, trauma and politics. The world will not be kind to her, but she will find her place. The tone is a bit darker at times in this story, but not in 'edgy' or 'grimdark' way. They reflect the main character's struggles.
