《UNORTHADOX ~ Anakin x Reader Fanfic》02

The stars looked like flying comets as we zoomed through hyperspeed, on our way to Coruscant. I couldn't help but wonder why this mission was so important, what did the trader know that made him a target?
I let my mind wander as I sat in the co-pilot seat, staring at the spectacle in front of me. That was until I felt a light tap on my shoulder, and I looked up to meet his eyes.
"We have just received more information on the trader," Patorr said, his brows furrowed,"He has company, Jedi at that. They must be onto us."
"Ugh, Jedi scum," I muttered, "So what did they hire the Jedi to be their bodyguards or something?"
"That is possible," Gale said, sighing.
My eyes returned to the window of our Scimitar, the long nose of the ship continuing its path to our destination. "So what do we do, Master?"
"Well, we somehow need to disguise ourselves, and seeming as though it's a club-" He began.
"I understand, i will do what i must," I huffed, unpleased by the idea.
He spoke," I'm sure what you're thinking will be a last resort anyway, hopefully."
"I really hope so. A club full of old white men with me in a disguise, yeah no thanks," I huffed,"Although I suppose we can't rule it out, if things get somewhat difficult."
"Good move apprentice," He said, patting my shoulder before climbing into the pilot seat.
He flicked a button and the ship exited hyperspeed, revealing a giant network of routes on a planets surface. We had made it to Coruscant. Even though it's main rule was the Republic, I secretly admired the planets impressive transport network, encircling the entire planet with its bustling population.
"How do we get in undetected Master?" I questioned.
"Good question Y/N, we get in with the cloaking shield," He praised.
I nodded in understanding.
I was still fairly new to flying, with all of my missions being me sat in the back of the ship, never in the cockpit, so I was beginning to get a feel for it.
As our ship smoothly glided into the Imperial City, I took in the breathtaking skyscrapers and stunning silhouettes of buildings along the skyline.
Patorr guided the ship onto a secluded landing pad before nodding at me, a sign it was time.
He pressed a button that slid open the entrance to the ship, revealing the dusk lit streets of the city ahead.
"Ladies first," He said, holding his arm out beckoning me to go.
I scowled as I walked past him and entered Coruscant.
I stood taking in the atmosphere of the place. There was a certain hive of activity coming from the building ahead. Strobes of light flooded on to the pavement before moving back inside, where the sound of chatter and drunk laughter buzzed. I read the wonky sign above the open entranceway: The Outlander Club. This could be it.

"Indeed it could," Patorr said. I forget he can read minds.
"Should we try it Master?" I asked.
"Worth a shot," He sighed.
We made our way through the entranceway of the club, the buzz of people and music now louder in here. We got a few strange glances, which I returned with scowls. People needed to know their place.
"OK I think it's best we split up," shouted Gale over the music.
"Whatever you say Master," I replied, although my gut was telling me that was a bad idea.
I pushed my way through the giant crowd of people, although they were engulfing me as I walked through.
I felt an unpleasant wave wash over me. I suddenly became more alert, remembering we could have company. I scanned around me, focusing on trying to find a door to backstage as maybe the trader could be there.
That was until I felt a hand tap me on the shoulder.
That feeling came over me again.
I spun around, feeling alarmed at the unfamiliar face I now stood looking up to.
He had a charming face shape, his jawline framing his handsome features. His blue eyes pierced my sole and I noticed a braid hanging loose from his short hair. I swear I'd heard of something to do with that before. I shrugged it off though, it was probably nothing.
"You seemed lost," the mysterious man said, looking me up and down.
"I'm fine, just going to my friend," I replied.
I sensed something off about him. I didn't know whether to trust the feeling however as I was fairly new to the force.
"Hmm OK. Well stay safe ma'am," He said,"These streets are dangerous tonight."
Why was he treating me like he was my protector or something. I furrowed my brows at him before continuing on my path.
I kept pushing through the crowd of people until I saw a door in sight. The sign above it read 'backstage'. Ah-ha, the way in. I made my way to the door and pushed it open, tentatively stepping into the dimly lit hall. The muffled music boomed on outside as I walked down the passage. I walked towards a curtain, my hand resting on my lightsaber, prepared to attack.
That was until a forceful hand pulled me behind the curtain. I gasped, yet I didn't weild my sabre as I saw it was a dancer who had pulled me back.
"OK hun, are you new here?" She asked, her hand still on my shoulder.
I took a moment to study my surroundings, realising I was in some sort of dressing room. This could be my way in.
"Oh, yeah, I just started today," I replied, deciding to play along as it could get me somewhere.
"OK well this," she said, looking my outfit up and down,"will not do, how about... THIS dress," she beamed, holding a black bodycon dress, with a collar and a v-neck, and revealing at the back.

Am I really doing this! "Uh, yeah sure," I said,"Also, you wouldn't happen to know where the uh.. boss is?"
"Ah yes, he's probably mingling in the crowd somewhere or at the bar, watching the girls. Now get dressed and get out there, and remember to have fun," she winked at me, walking past to the other side of the curtain and I heard her heels clip-clop away.
What the hell had I gotten myself into. Oh well, I might as well make this mission a little interesting.
I hurriedly put on the dress, grabbing a random pair of heels to match. Luckily for me, I was skilled in walking in heels so this shouldn't be too difficult.
I left my robes in the room and attached my lightsabre to the back of my shin with a band, hopefully no one would notice.
I strut my way down the corridor, playing the part, until I met another curtain. Deep purple light spilled at the edges and the booming music became louder. This must've been the way back in.
I pushed myself through the curtain and the music instantly became a thunderous noise, mixed with the chatter and laughter of people. I looked around and noticed I was on a small circular raised platform, a pole going from the floor to the ceiling, with a club full of people a few feet lower than me.
What. The. Hell.
I looked around, panicking until I realised there were eyes on me. I had to do something. I saw another girl at a different pole moving her body around it in ways I thought I couldn't manage.
I copied what she did, running one hand down the pole and swaying with my hips, getting lower on my knees, before dancing playfully around it. I felt like an absolute fool but I could see people watching and cheering me on. Not gonna lie I kind of enjoyed it.
I began scanning the room as I got the swing of the dancing, looking for our target. Before we left, Palpatine had given a brief description, although the man seemed easy to spot as we'd been told he wore an eye patch, with golden teeth and a facial tattoo. So thats what I was looking for.
Keeping up my act, I crawled on the floor seductively, and ran my hands on the floor around me. I caught a glimpse of something, oh... someone, staring intently at me. His familiar bone structure and piercing blue eyes made me realise it was the guy from earlier. He was sat at the bar holding a drink, although he looked at me as though he were in a trance. His eyes looked directly in mine before clenching his jaw and abruptly looking away, turning around and shuffling uncomfortably on his seat.
I smirked, knowing the effect I had on him before continuing my search.
In the hazy lighting of the club, a saw a gold shimmer, and the brief blur of a tattoo. I stared more intently, trying to focus. And yes.. it was the trader.
I blew a kiss at the audience, earning a few whistles and cheers before dipping back behind the curtain and speed walking down the corridor, grabbing my robes as I went, to the door I had gone through earlier.
I pushed it open and began making my way through the warm, sweaty groups of people, heading in a beeline for the booth I had seen him sat at.
I sent a small pulse of force to my Master, which earlier we had agreed would indicate one of us had found him. I strutted up to the booth, where he sat surrounded by what I assumed were his dancers. Ugh, what a creep. Not that I could talk, after just dancing around a pole, but still.
"Ladies, you might wanna move out of the way before this gets messy," came a familiar voice. It was Gale.
He sounded threatening so they hurriedly scurried off.
"Now, we can do this the easy way, or the hard way," I scowled, a shock collar Patorr had passed me unclipping in my hand.
The man shuffled awkwardly in his seat,"n-now let's just calm down, no need for viol-"He trembled, although I cut him off, pushing him face down onto the table and twisting his arm behind his back, making him whimper.
"I choose violence," I hissed in his ear, shoving the metal collar on his neck and Gale dragging him out of his seat.
The man's cries were ignored as everyone's attention was on a scene being caused by the man I had met earlier running like a mad man through the club, followed by another with longer blonde hair and a slight beard, wearing cream white robes.
I now understood the uneasy feeling I got. They were Jedi.
"Not now Y/N," Gale said, noticing my sudden urge to capture them.
I scowled before helping him drag the man out of the club. He let out cries as we threw him onto our ship outside. Locking him in the prisoners cage before preparing ourselves in the cockpit.
Gale toggled a few switches and the plane slowly took off the ground, leaving a swirl of leaves and dirt on the landing pad below. I felt the uneasy sensation again.
The last thing I saw before we flew away were the two Jedi running after our ship, clearly having caught on to the fact we were Sith.
Stupid Jedi.
