《The Monster With A Soul - Dwayne (Lost Boys)》Chapter Nine

All of them arrive at Michael's house. Christine hides behind them, her hunger for blood suddenly becoming an unstoppable craving. She smacks herself into the siding of the house trying to fight off her demonic appetite. She cries out in pain, trying to calm herself.
Each of the boys went to a different window of the house, trying to find the boys. Christine walks through the front door, calling for her brothers.
"Christine!" she hears Edgar yell from the upstairs. "Help!"
Christine goes up to the next level of the house, looking for her brothers. They are both in the bathroom, with water guns and a bathtub filled with loads of garlic. All three of them hug, relieved to know each other were still alive.
"We need to get out of here!" Christine says, trying to rush them out of the bathroom. She knew if she spent too much time around them, her fight against her hunger would not last. "Now!"
"Not until we get rid of those blood-sucking bastards!" Alan yells, raising a stake in the air. "They could have killed you!"
"But they obviously didn't!" Christine shouts. "Look, they chose to keep me alive. One of them was actually quite nice to me. But don't kill anyone until we have a plan, okay? What did you two say about un-doing a vampires transformation?"
"The head vampire needs to be killed!" Edgar recalls. "We don't know who it is, though. We thought it was Max, this guy that Sam's mom is going out with, but-"
"That's him!" she interrupts. "It's Max! All of those tests you guys tried were useless because Michael invited him in the house! If we can kill him, this will all be over, right?"

"Yes!" Alan replies. "But he's not even here! How do we kill him?"
They all shrug at each other. If they knew that she was a vampire, they might have tried to kill her. Suddenly, footsteps draw nearer to them. Edgar hands Christine a stake, just in case. Paul bursts through the door, in vampire form.
"Ha-ha!" Paul laughs in victory. He wrestles their weapons out of their hands. He grabs Christine from behind the shield of her brothers, holding her to his side. He points to Edgar. "You're mine! You killed Marko!"
"That's my sister, death-breath!" Alan shouts.
Christine runs from Paul, watching her brothers as they prepare to kill him. Alan splashes water from the tub to Paul's face, causing it to steam as it burnt through his skin. Paul shakes it off and puts his hand on Edgar's neck, attempting to choke him. But when Sam's dog, Nanook, comes up behind Paul, he knocks him into the water. Paul's body disintegrates in the tub, smoke rising from the water.
Only a moment after, the pipes in the house burst open, water and blood spewing everywhere. The three of them cover their heads as they rush out of the bathroom, only to find Starr and a little kid in what seemed like Sam's bedroom. He was hidden under the bed, away from the gang. But only a little while later, he burst through the mattress, sending fluff and stuffing everywhere. The child had yellow eyes, like the ones we had just seen in Paul. He ran into the corner of the room, trying to control himself. Starr held him back, keeping him from hurting anyone.
"Oh, shit!" Alan yells. "The attack of Eddie Munster!"
The boys get up, going after the child. Star throws her hand up.

"Stop!" Star argues, further shielding him. "Get away from him! Stay away from him! He's just a little boy!"
"Do you know where Max may be?" Christine asks her, stepping in front of her brothers. "I'm Christine, by the way."
"Sam told me about you. I don't have a clue. I'm guessing that they got to you?"
Christine nods, making her brothers jump in fear. She throws her hands up towards them, protecting herself.
"But I'm not fully transformed!" she yells in protest. "I still haven't made my first kill! David wanted me to kill one of my brothers, but I couldn't. I don't want to be the one to kill Max, otherwise I may be stuck like this forever. If I kill the head vampire, but I'm not a full vampire yet, I'll just restart the cycle. Someone else has to do it."
"Leave Max to me!" Sam says, entering the room. He looks at Christine in shock. "Christine! You're alive!"
"Where's Michael?" Starr asks Sam.
"He's downstairs, but things didn't look good," Sam mutters. "Do you think he's still alive?"
Everyone in the room shrugs or remains in silence. The truth is that none of them had any clue as to what happened to Michael.
"How will Max know to come?" Edgar asks, trying to change the subject.
"He's on a date with my mom," Sam answers. "He'll probably bring her home, and we'll surprise him then, which should be any minute."
