"I still don't get why you're the nervous one, while I'm the one getting married, Tay," Jake laughed, as Taylor fixed his bow tie for the tenth time that hour.
Every time Taylor fixed the bow tie, someone else came by to hug her friend, thus destroying her masterpiece. Her navy colored dress matched the defiant bow tie, as she was the maid of honor from his side.
His cream colored tuxedo was supposed to be a joke suggestion, but Caiden ran with the idea that one would wear the cream suit with the navy tie, while the other did the reciprocal.
"Because, my little Jakey is getting married; that's huge dude!" She punched his shoulder, feeling a tear threaten its way out.
"I wish mom and dad were here," Jake muttered, his eyes focused on the ground, once Taylor was done with fixing the annoying tie.
"You know they are, J. Plus we're a good close second, I think," Nate laughed, holding Vanessa's hand, as the two made their way in.
Jake ran over to hug them, hearing a sigh come from his friend's mouth, knowing she had to spend another three seconds of her life she might never get back.
"I love you, guys. I'm glad you're here," Jake smiled at his second set of parents.
The two had taken off some time from work to travel, as Taylor, Ezra, and Kyle were on their own now. They had gone on some sort of retreat and were unsure if they would be able to make it back to where life had started, since there were so many roads blocked due to some virus that was spreading.
Though Jake and Caiden had now lived as nomads, traveling across the world, their main home had been in Korea, where Caiden could be near Mark. The pair had decided to get married by the lake house, where their love story had begun, and flew themselves back.
"Ten minutes, lovely," Ava's head popped in to the secluded room Jake and Taylor were in, before making her way to her groom.
"Thanks, babe." Taylor nodded at her girlfriend, seeing Jake's eyes widen in horror.
"J, what's wrong dude?" Landon's voice called, indicating he had entered the room, without being noticed.
As the best man from Jake's side, Landon was in navy trousers, a white button down shirt with his sleeves rolled up, and some navy suspenders. His hair was now colored blonde, since he lost a bet against Ava, even though everyone had told him not to go for it.
"What if he doesn't want me? What if-" Jake could feel his mind being filled with utter nonsense, but he couldn't get it to quiet down.
"Dude, he's crazy about you," Taylor slapped him, lightly, getting him out of his own head.
"I know, but-"
"No, seriously dude; I was just in there, and he's cuddling with Clover and talking about you," Landon nodded at his friend, trying to calm him down.
"He's weird; you know he does this a lot? Like, he'll just sit with Clo and start telling him about our sex life..." Jake could hear Vane and Nate laughing, reminding him they were still in the room.
"You're marrying him dude, so you're weirder," Landon shook his head, laughing at what Tay responded with.
****
"You ready, Cai?" Mark brushed his hair back for the umpteenth time that day.
"Yeah, I think I am. I was so nervous earlier I was talking to Clo," Caiden chuckled, slipping on his navy blazer.

He was standing in the boys' room with Eli, Ava, Mark, and Noah with his heart racing against his own thoughts. He couldn't help but overthink himself into a bucket of nerves, wondering if the boy in the next room was as anxious as he had been.
The knock on the door startled him, bringing him back to reality, and seeing as it was Kai, he relaxed a bit. Kai was handing everyone their flowers, as he had chosen them. A bouquet of light blue hydrangeas and cream colored gardenias were handed to Ava and Taylor, while the other girls were holding simple white and blue roses.
As for the men, they each held a single rose, other than the grooms. The grooms had decided to each hold something small they planned on giving to each other when the time came.
"People are taking their seats by the forest, Cai. I think it's time, dude," Jenna peaked her head through the door.
****
"The grooms each have chosen to write their own vows. Caiden, please begin," Kyle spoke; he had taken a test online in order to marry the two.
Caiden mouthed the words I love you to his almost husband, as he took out a small, glass box from his jacket pocket, he placed it in Jake's hand, clicking a small button, lighting a fire.
Grabbing Jake's hand in his own, Caiden caressed his knuckles.
"Jake Elliott Hart, we've been through more together in a year, than most couples go through in a lifetime, and no, I'm not talking about our sex life..."
Laughs were heard throughout the woods.
"I fell in love with someone who is not only smart, kind, funny, and damn beautiful, but someone who has taught me to open myself up in ways I didn't think was possible."
Cheers and 'awes' sounded, while tears came from the immediate family, and Caiden and Jake.
"You're like the butterflies here who swarm in circles, but you do it in my veins every second of every moment of every day. Jake, I don't know what it is I've done to deserve you, but I swear to you with everything I am and everything I have that you have my heart here in this box, here in this place, and right near the tree we always sit by. I promise to be the person you lean on, even if I don't know what to respond with; in that case, you can bother Mark, or Taylor, or anyone else."
Jake chuckled, his hand shaking in Caiden's.
"I love you, my hero, my Jake," Caiden concluded, his tears showering down his face.
"Think you can top that?" Landon muttered, earning a laugh from Eli.
Jake took a deep breath, mouthing I love you back to the raven haired boy, before he began.
Taking out a small snow globe of a forest with two boys seated on a log looking up at the full moon above, he placed it in Caiden's hand, still holding onto his free one.
"Caiden Jaemin Lee, this past year has been a rollercoaster of pure emotion and experiences that I wouldn't trade for the world. You have taught me that life is not just one huge adventure, but so many little ones we're constantly creating and living. And no, I'm not talking about just in the bedroom."
Caiden joined the laughter, as it echoed through the trees.
"I remember the first time you laughed around me, when we were seated right by our tree, and I decided at that moment that no matter what I've seen or will see on this planet, will ever be as beautiful as you or anything you do."

Jake could feel the tears falling, but his eyes were locked with his favorite chocolate brown eyes.
Cheers and 'awes' followed Jake's vows, before he resumed.
"You're a continuous surprise full of heart and passion and I love that your mind is like wildfire of ideas. Caiden, I constantly fall in love with you; every little thing you do, or even the smallest change of expression, or even the way you cuddle with Clover. I'm just absolutely on cloud one hundred, as nine is way too low, knowing you're mine. You cause an entire sea of creatures within my body, just at the thought of you."
Caiden and Jake, as well as everyone by the ceremony, were crying buckets of water, before Jake ended it with, "I love you, my angel, my Caiden."
The rings the two exchanged were white gold with the words 'I'll always choose you' carved on the inside. Jake felt his hands shaking, as he placed the ring on his husband's finger. Caiden took a deep breath, trying to steady his hand, as he placed the matching ring on Jake's finger.
"You may kiss your groom," Kyle spoke, and with the biggest smile on his face, Caiden leaned in, kissing the curly haired lad.
The kiss was hungry with love and emotion. For the two, every time they kissed it was like their first; they were utterly in love and nothing would ever get in the middle of that.
****
As the two were saying their vows, Noah had movers and party planners transform the lake house into the wedding hall out of a fairytale. Lights, candles, decorations, flowers, and centerpieces adorned the space.
Champagne was being handed to the guests, as Caiden and Jake Lee-Hart made their way inside. Taylor and Ava each took a mic, singing Echo by SF9, while the new husbands danced together.
"I'm not very good at this whole thing; so many people's eyes are on me." Caiden spoke, his forehead touching Jake's.
"Focus on my eyes, angel. It's just you and me," Jake had his hands around his husband's neck, while the raven haired lad had his arms around Jake's lower back.
The two shared smiles and kisses, while Jake sang along to the lyrics, serenading his favorite boy.
Once the song ended, Vane interrupted the two to hug her son, while Caiden went to grab them some drinks.
"You know Soph and Lo are definitely looking down at you, ecstatic and proud," Vane was crying, trying to hold it together.
"I'm glad I got to raise you and be a part of your life, but I hate that the tragedy is what brought us closer together, Jake," Nate's voice was heard, as the two pulled apart.
"I love you both; I miss mom and dad, but I'm so glad I have you both here with me," Jake hugged them both, tightly.
Ezra and Kyle were helping Kai and Landon set up the DJ both and sound, so they could really get the music going.
Caiden felt an arm on his shoulder, and looking to his right, he saw Mark with a glass of wine in his free hand.
"Why do you keep looking at Jake like it's the first time you've seen him?"
"Because I feel like it is. I can't explain it much, but it's like I don't understand why he chose me. He's smarter than anyone I know and he's the most incredible human on this planet, Mark," Caiden smiled, seeing Jake laugh with Vanessa and Nate, his eyes not flinching away from the sudden movements the curly haired lad made.
"He says the same about you, Cai. He thinks you're smarter than he is, and he just doesn't understand why you chose him out of all the more experienced people you've been with," Mark took a sip of the wine in hand, as Caiden grabbed the two glasses from the bar.
"Make me a promise, M..."
"What is it Cai?"
"Promise me you won't disappear on me ever again, because I want you to be there to meet your nephew..."
"Wait..." His eyes widened and a matching smile graced his lips.
"Jake told me to only tell you, but the adoption went through. We'll be back from our honeymoon about a week before the due date," Caiden smiled at his brother, who broke into tears of happiness.
"Did you think of names? Also, why so soon?" Mark questioned, taking another sip.
"Jake thought of Logan Suwoong..."
"Suwoong... Like, my middle name?"
"Yeah... He wanted a bit of you and a bit of his dad in it; two strong people. Also, we thought about it and we want kids, so why wait? Why put another kid in the system, when we could raise them?"
"I like him a whole lot more, now, Cai," Mark left him with that to congratulate his brother in law.
"I know I'm not your favorite person, son, but I just want to say I'm very happy for you and Jake," Noah's voice startled his son.
The drinks in Caiden's hands weren't cold anymore, so he asked for another two from the bartender.
"How much did you hear?"
"More than you probably wanted me to, but to be fair, I walked by as you mentioned it, and I couldn't help but listen. I think you both will be great dads," he spoke to his son.
"Not gonna lie, I'm terrified, but I know with Jake beside me, I can do anything," Caiden thanked the bartender, walking towards his husband with his dad to his left.
"I believe you could with or without him, but I'm happy you found him, son," Noah nodded, his eyes facing the raven haired boy. "Also, the name sounds amazing."
"Are you trying to see if you'd be part of his life?" Caiden stopped, a few steps from his husband, looking into his dad's eyes.
"I would love to be, but that's really up to you," Noah confessed.
"We discussed this, actually, and we wouldn't deny you a relationship with your grandson, Noah," Jake took one of the wine glasses Caiden was holding, holding that hand in his.
Noah thanked them, stepping away, as he could see their eyes landing solely on one another with pure love and lust.
The rest of the wedding was full of laughter, fun, dancing, flirting, and when Kyle had found someone to kiss, Jenna yelled for everyone to hear, "Eww! Hetero make out!"
****
His eyes were sparking fire and hunger; Caiden had already stripped both himself and his husband off their tuxes, leaving them to explore each other, as they each began to paint their canvas.
As the time went by, the two traveled to Africa, after their honeymoon in Singapore, where they volunteered and got to experience something different.
Once back in Korea, they were able to meet their son, Logan Suwoong Lee-Hart, who instantly fit in the family. Having hazel eyes like Jake, while he had Caiden's facial expressions, there was no denying Logan was meant to be their son.
****
"Hey angel, do you think Logan will like me once he can form opinions?" the two had just put Logan to sleep, getting the hang of things, as they had only been parents for about 8 weeks.
"Why wouldn't he, baby?" Caiden laid with his husband on the couch, as the TV played in the background.
"I don't know... What if I'm annoying and I bother him?"
"Jake, baby, I think every child gets annoyed by their parents at some point, but that doesn't mean he won't like you. Also, he seems to do better when you hold him, than when I do," the raven haired lad kissed him.
"I guess you're right, angel. Also, I sing to him. You talk to him about taxes and stuff," Jake laughed, kissing him back.
"I say we adopt a girl next."
"I say we wait till this boy is old enough to pee in a toilet."
The two laughed, shutting off the TV, and making their way to their bedroom.
"I love you, Jake Elliott Lee-Hart."
"I love you more, Caiden Jaemin Lee-Hart."
End.
