I'm woken up by my phone ringing.

"Hello?" I say.

"Nova? Where you sleep?" I pop up out my bed, hearing his voice sends shivers down my spine.

"Hey Leo, nope I was up. Just relaxing. Wassup?"

He laughs and I blush. I'm glad he can't see me.

"Well I was wondering if you are busy today?" He asks. He seems nervous.

"Um, not that I know of, why?" I ask him curiously.

"Well I just dropped Oliver off at the airport since he was leaving today and I have the day off, so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?" He says.

"Like just hang out or like a date date?" I ask nervously.

He chuckles, "Yes, Like a date date Nova."

"Yes, I would love to go on a date with you!" I smile.

"Great, I'll pick you up in a hour." He says.

"Wait, an hour?" I say.

"Yeah, is that a problem? Because we can go out lat-" He starts to say but I cut him off.

"No, an hour is perfect! I'll see you then."

"Alright. See you then." He hangs up.

I take a deep breath and groan. "Nope an hour is a problem! I can't get ready in an hour!" I fall out my bed.

"I know, Keyona!!" I run out my door, down the hall and bust into her room without knocking. She laying bed asleep. This won't do!

I run full speed and jump on her bed. "KEYONNNNNNNAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" I scream and she falls out the bed and jump up in a fighting stances.

"What's going on?! You okay?!" She looks at me with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah I'm fine." I say with a smirk. She stands up straight and looks at me angry. She runs and jumps on me. "THEN WHY THE FUCK YOU BUST INTO MY ROOM AND YELL MY NAME LIKE SOMEONE IS MURDERING YOU!!!"

"Because I need your help Keyona! It's an emergency!"

She looks at me and mugs me. "What's a fucking emergency that you had to come into my room and wake me out of LaLa land, Nova!"

"Leoaskedmeoutonadate." I said quickly. She looks at me confused. "What the fuck did you just say?"

I take a deep breath. "Leo asked me out on a date and I need help getting ready." I said quietly. She slaps my arm, "You woke me up out my sleep because Leo asked you on a date and need help getting ready!"

I nod my head slowly. I swear when Keyona gets woken up, she is very scary.

She take a deep breath and signs. "What time is the date tonight?" She asked.

"Um, that's the thing. It's not tonight." I say and she looks at me confused. "It's in an hour." I whisper.

"Are you fucking serious?! Why you didn't start with that, Nova?!!!" She smacks my arm again.

"Can you stop fucking hitting me?! You hit hard!" I yell at her!

"Shut up! Go get your ass in the shower and brush your teeth, you got morning breath." She said and waves her hand over her face.

"Shut up!" I go and hop in her shower. I hear the door open. "I put your face wash and toothbrush by the sink! Hurry your ass up." She yells.

I get out and brush my teeth and wash my face. I get out the bathroom and see she has a two piece outfit out for me. Casual but sexy.

Olive green long shirt that is pulled up on the side to show off my legs and a white crop top shirt. A white wallet purse and matching heels. It's was perfect. She even threw some flats in the purse, just Incase my feet start to hurt.

Keyona was amazing when it came to fashion for dates or events. She doesn't think so but it's true.

I hurried and got dressed. I didn't wet my hair so when I let it down, it was wavy and straight. I just had to run my fingers through it.

I did a light natural make-up look. I was putting on my shoes when the door bell rang. I started to freak out. But of course Keyona calmed me down.

She went down to open the door for me. After a few minutes of deep breaths, I left her room and made me way downstairs to see Leo talking to my brothers and Keyona.

He sees me and smiles. I make my way to him and he kisses my cheek.

"You look beautiful." He says and I blush.

"You look handsome." Which is true. He wore a white button down dress shirt that hung to his chest, showing his muscles, dark blue jeans and white dress shoes. He looks like a model.

"You ready to go?" He asks.

"Remember what we-" Easton tried to say something but Keyona punches him where he bends over, holding his stomach.

"Y'all have fun." She said and grabbed both the boys ears pulling them away. I just laugh and we leave out the door.

We get in the car and we were off on our date.

We have arrived at the restaurant and it was beautiful. There was lights everywhere.

"It's so pretty." I said.

"You haven't seen the best part yet." He says. We walk in and see a host.

"How may I help you, Sir?" She bats her eyes at him and rubs her finger up his arms. I stare at her for the disrespect she is displaying right now, seeing I'm right here next to him.

"First off, dont put your dirty finger on me. Especially while I'm right next to my girlfriend. Second off, if you don't want me to call Victor and let him know how you are behaving, you better stop. Now apologize to my girlfriend and get Lizzie to show us to our table." He said calmly but very stern. It sent chills down my spine and vibrations to my core. I had to squeeze my thighs together.

"I'm sorry for disrespecting you Ma'am." She said to me. "It's alright, I just hope you learn not to do it to anybody else in the future." I told her.

"Now please go get Lizzie." He says and she bows her head and walks off.

"I'm sorry, Nova. I would never let anybody disrespect you like that." He said.

I smile at him and blush. "It's alright." He was about to say something when a really pretty red head girl came up to us. Her hair was really long and had pretty green eyes. She had a beauty mark on her left cheek. She reached over and hugged Leo and kissed him on his cheeks.

She turns her head and says something to Leo in Italian and he replied. They talked for a minutes and I just stood there looking around.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know you didn't speak Italian. I hope you can forgive me." She smiles and reaches her hand out for me to shake. "I'm Lizzie, I grew up with this dork." I shake her hand, "I'm Nova." I said quietly. "It's really nice to meet you. I'm surprise someone was able to put a leash on this boy." I just smiled. "So y'all grew up together? Like we're y'all close?"

They both look at me for a second and then laugh.

"Babe, don't worry. The only way I'll ever touch Leo, is if he had a vagina." She laughs. It took me a second to understand what she meant.

"Ohhhh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it for to come out like that!" I said. Face palming myself.

They laugh at me again.

"It's okay, sweetie. Nothing wrong being territorial of your man." She said. "Now come on, I got y'all the best view!" She claps and starts to walk away.

We start to follow her and I stop Leo.

"Hey, I know how that sounded. I swear I'm not a jealous type of girl. A little insecure but not jealous. I hope this doesn't change anything."

He smile and kisses my cheek. "Don't worry Babe. It didn't change anything, if anything, it made me like you even more." I smile at him when he said that. He grabs my hand and we start walking again. Going up some stairs and my mouth drops.

The upstairs was incredible. It had a nice tables with a candle and rose in the center. There was lights hanging all over and the view of the ocean was to die for.

"It's beautiful." I whisper and Leo smiles.

"Come on." He pulls me to a table and pulls my seat out and I sit. He sits in his seat. Lizzie looks at me and says "Leo already ordered your food, so I'm going to grab your drinks and I'll be right back."

"You look beautiful tonight, Nova." Leo said. I put my hand to my face to cover my blushing cheeks.

He reaches over the table and grabs my hand. "Don't hide your face, I like it when you blush." He hold my hand on the table and doesn't let go. We stare at each other for a moment before Lizzie returns and brings our drinks.

"You got me white wine? You remembered?" I said in awe.

"Of course. But I have a question for you. You don't have to answer it if you don't want to." He says.

"Sure." I say nervously.

"So Oliver told me that you went into depression because someone broke your heart. Do you mind me asking, what happened?"

I knew this was going to be asked. I just didn't know it was going to be this soon.

"You don't have to answer... I'm sorry."

"No, it's okay. I just haven't talked about it in a long time." I take a deep breath.

A few years ago I met this guy. I was a freshman in college and he was a junior. He's what every girl would want it. He was sweet, cute, a jock, smart and very funny. Jake Anderson. He was in a fraternity, but his fraternity was number one at throwing the craziest parties. It was the beginning of freshman year and all the freshman's were invited to this party. Of course, I wanted to go. It took some persuading for me to get Keyona to come with me but she eventually said yes. When we got there, the party was already in full swing. Drunk people, fighting, people were swimming in the pool, and a lot people dancing.

Keyona and I decided to get a drink. When we were walking into the kitchen, someone bumped into me in maybe bump into Jake. He spilled his drink all over himself and I couldn't do nothing besides apologize. Which is now that me and told me it was OK.

He went up the stairs and I guess went to his room, Because he came down with a new shirt. Keyona and I were already in the kitchen making us drinks. We started drinking and dancing, just having a good time.

I told Keyona I was going to go to the bathroom. I went upstairs and found a bathroom I did my business and then when I came out the bathroom I ran into someone again. That someone was Jake.

"You gotta stop running into me." He joke. I was nervous cause a cute boy was actually talking to me.

"You must be a freshman because I would of remembered seeing someone as pretty as you around campus." He was real smooth. He knew how to talk to a girl. We spent the rest of the party getting to know each other. Before I left we exchange numbers.

We would text each other all the time. After two weeks he asked me out on a date. Of course I said yes. He was one of the popular guys in the college. Plus he was really cute. We started going on dates for about five months. We've only kissed because I was still a virgin. I wanted to make sure he was the one before we had sex. Before I gave him the one thing I treasured most.

One day after our date he told me he loved me. He told me he wanted to be with me. He said I was the only thing that made him happy. And I knew I loved him too. So after six months of dating I decided it was time. We went back to his house and we were kissing and made love to me that night.

But when I woke up he was no longer there. I got dressed and went downstairs to look for him. I loved him with everything in my body and I gave him the one thing that I wanted to give the person that I really loved.

I came downstairs, only to see him making out with a girl. He was surrounded by all the frat boys. I stood on the still on the stairs staring at him. I couldn't move.

"Told you." He said and he pointed at me. All of them started laughing at me. I didn't know what they were talking about, that was until one of them said you won the bet.

"Excuse me? What bet?" I stuttered.

"We made a bet that in six months he can get into your pants." One of the boys said. "And it looks like he won."

I stared at him. "Is that true?" He couldn't even look at me. The man that I thought loved me couldn't look at me and tell me if it was true or not.

So I walked up to him and let him in the face. I push the girl away from him and I got in his face.

I was angry, I was hurt but I needed to know. "Jake please tell me it's not true. Please tell me that you did not make a bed to take my virginity. Please tell me these last six months was not fake."

When he finally looked at me, all he said was "I'm sorry." That's all, a pathedic "Im sorry". I don't know what came over me but I raise my hand and I slapped him so hard.

"I fucking hate you." I told him. "I hope it was worth it." I said before I ran out the frat house in tears. I heard him calling after me but I didn't stop. I went straight to Keyonas dorm room. I couldn't believe the man I love did that.

I walked into Kiana's room crying and she just held me asking me what was wrong. After I calm down I told her everything and she was pissed.

She grabbed my hand and took me back to the fraternity house. She was yelling and screaming at Jake. I don't know what happen next. But next thing I know my brothers and cousins were at the frat house. They didn't give him a chance to explain anything. I don't even know how they found out but I figured it had to be Keyona that told them.

He kept apologizing and saying he was sorry and how he really loved me but I didnt want to hear it. I didn't want to hear his lies anymore. Because if you loved me, he would have told me. He would've dropped out that bet but he didn't. He didn't love me.

I gave him my all and he crushed me. I fell into a depression. I didn't trust another guy. I was scared. I was insecure. I didn't want to get hurt again.

"So now let me ask you something please?'' I looked Leo in the face. "Now that you know my past. Now that you know my pain. What do you want?"

He stared at me for awhile before he said "I want you." I just stared at him with watery eyes. "I know we've only met each other a month ago but I know that I really like you. That I really want to try us. I want to make you feel loved and to feel appreciated. Will you let me do that? Will you let me show you what true love and care feels like?"

I released my tears. I look in his eyes to see if I seen any lie. I didn't. He was serious. He really like me.

"I'm willing to give it a try but the first time you hurt me, will be the last time you see me, Leo. Because I won't be able to take another heartbreak. Do you understand?"

He nods and gets up and pulls me into a deep passionate kiss.

"So your my girlfriend?" He asks. I smiled and said "I'm your girlfriend."
