"Mr. Kapoor" I heard doctor calling me..

I rushed towards him..

"Yes doctor.. how's ishaani?"

"Relax Mr.Kapoor.. there is one good news and a bad news.."

"Please speak doctor"

"Good news is patient is out of danger her condition is stable but not really"

I was happy hearing that she is out of danger but

"But doctor what do you mean that 'condition is stable but not really'?"

"Mr.Kapoor have a seat.."

"Just spit it out doctor"

"Actually patient's body was not ready for such accident.. the sudden hit of Iron rod on the head was the worst thing as it had caused some major injuries and the patient -

I cut off the doctor

"What happened to ishaani? Seedha seedha bata kyu nhi dete ho?"

"Relax, Mr.Kapoor and listen.. the patient is in COMA"

As I was standing, I sat on the chair with a thud in shock

"Wh..what?? Ishaani in c..co..coma?"

"NO...NEVER.." Shrey came shouting

"SHE IS FINE.. TOTALLY FINE.. SHE IS NOT IN COMA.. SHE IS..SHE IS JUST SLEEPING..Dev you know na ishu loves sleeping.. woh na bas so rhi hai..and remember jab bhi woh bak bak karti thi we tell her to shut up..she is just angry with us... that's why is not talking to us and sleeping..she is just playing with us" last few words came as a whispers from her as she was on a verge of crying

"Doctor can we go inside to see her" atharva asked to doctor

"Yes.. you can but let the patient shift in ICU"

We nodded as the words died in our throat..

"She will wake up soon..she will..she has to" We all were whispering these words continuously to console us..

Soon, she was shifted in ICU and we went there to see her..

Shrey went near her

I was not able to move after seeing her like this..

Tubes running through her body.. oxygen mask..head covered with bandages

"I am sorry ishu.. I shouldn't have called you to pick us up.. tu aati hi nhi aur yeh accident bhi nhi hota" Shrey was crying and blaming herself

Atharva went towards her and kept his hand on her shoulder

"Shrey! It's not your fault..don't blame yourself.." he then looked towards me and then her

"Why we are crying.. gem is here only.. nothing has happened to her.. and she will not talk to us if she found us crying.." he said wiping his tears

Me and Shrey also wiped our tears while nodding..

We all were in our thoughts thinking about the moments we spent with ishaani when doctor came inside

"Mr.Kapoor I want to tell you something about the patient"

"Doctor before that can I ask you a question?" Shrey asked

"Yes you can"

"Can we take her home?" She asked

"Yes, you can but after few days and what I was talking about patient is that she should come out of the coma within one year.. agar yeh ek saal ke andar andar coma se bahar nahi aayi then we are sorry but-

"NO..DON'T COMPLETE" We trio said together

"It all depends on her will.. coma patients can hear us.. so try to talk to her.. tell her the happy moments of her life.." Doctor told us

"We will do our best doctor" I said

"you can take patient home after 3 days.. there will be a nurse for her and i will visit for monthly or weekly checkups" doctor informed

And we nodded our head..

Soon, ishaani was discharged.. I took her to my home.. there were nurses and doctors around her for first few days and then there was one nurse there..we all three were there 24/7 with here for first few months then there was work load so we stayed with her in shifts in day time and spent whole night with her telling her about the moments we spent together..try to laugh in front of her..

I was holding her hand..

"Ishaani it's been 6 months now.. please wake up na.. today when doctor came for your checkup he told that you should wake up in next 1 month otherwise-

I was cut off in between by Shrey

"Don't lose hope Dev.."

"But what should I do Shrey, we have done every single thing we can do in these 6 months.. but this girl is so stubborn that she is not listening to us.."

"She will wake up..we should not leave our hope..life can change in a moment also" atharva said

There was silence in the room after that

The silence was broken by Shreya

"We can do one thing.. I know it's childish but we can try" she said

"What it is?" I asked

"We all can sing for her"

"Huh!?" Me and atharva reacted at same time

"Yes.. you know na how much ishaani loves when we sing together.. then, let's sing for her together.. this is the only thing we haven't done till now"

"Hmm.. all we can do is try..maybe it works" atharva said

"Hmm" I hummed

"Ok then..let's start..Dev you will start" Shrey said

"Ok"......

As we ended the song, we stared at the sleeping body in front of us..

"Let's leave.. she should rest now.. bahut ho gayi baatein" atharva said..

One by one we kissed her forehead and turned to left from there..

As we started walking.........
