Sharon was officially not on speaking terms with Momo after what happened last night. She was currently putting the clothes away for laundry.

"Mommy.... Momo wants water." Her three year old son said. Sharon dropped the clothes on the machine before picking up her son and filling a glass of water for Momo.

"Mommy, you are angry? " he asked wondering what might have happened.

"No baby" she said giving the glass to Momo.

Momo lifted her face from the book she was reading, she was carefully accessing her mood.

"Well lad you still seem to be in a foul mood." Momo concluded.

"Oh... foul mood.. No... I am dancing in daisy unicorn land." Sharon said sarcasm lacing through her words.

Momo chuckled at her reply.

"And you are laughing...." Sharon sigh going back to her laundry. She has about 20 minutes before she could start.

"Oh... Sharon. It's just a dinner." Momo said helping Sharon with the clothes.

"Just a dinner with my exhusband, his new fiancee and my daughter!!! I don't think it would be fun" Sharon snapped. "And moreover what if Chris or that woman figure out Chase is Chris's son. What am I going to do!"

She said before she made sure Chase was nowhere to be seen.

"Oh Sharon what are you afraid of? Do you still love him? Do you still feel something for him?" Momo asked studying her face.

"No.." Sharon said in a small voice , She hates him. He doesn't deserve her love after what he did.

"What?" Momo asked so that she could clearly hear her say.

"I do not have feelings for him." She snapped.

"Good, then him coming for dinner shouldn't be problem."

Sharon gave Momo a dry look, What does she wanna see? What the hell is she planning? Sharon couldn't understand.

Chase was terrified to pull the stunt he pulled the other day, when his mommy was so angry. She didn't say anything but her eyes were red and puffed. Maybe Mommy cried! He thought. He didn't want to make his mommy cry. He will be a good boy, he thought.

Chase was told that today his Mommy was not taking him along with her. So, he have to be a good boy play inside the house and take care of Momo.

Chase was playing with his small Cars in the front porch when he heard someone open the gate and walk towards him.

"Hello! Can I play with you?" The blue eyed girl asked.

Chase looked up and recognized her as the girl from the house across the street.

"You want to play with me?" Chase asked real quick.

"Yeah. I live right opposite your house." She said.

"I know" Chase said smiling.

"My name is April." She said sitting in front of him Indian style.

"April."

"What is your Name?" She asked.

"Chase." He said wondering if it's okay to play with her when his Mommy said Not to.

"You are so cute."she said pinching his cheeks.

Chase never allowed, when i say never I mean NEVER, let's anyone touch his cheeks other than his mother but he couldnt push the girl sitting in front of him smiling.

"Is your Mom home?" She asked Chase.

Chase nodded his head.

"Only you both live in this house?"

"No...we live with Momo."

"I live with my grandmother too." April said with a little scowl on her face.

"With your Mommy and Daddy?" He asked innocently.

"No.... I don't have mommy. I live with my dad. The other woman is going to be my mother." April said her eyes sad, she wondered if her mother would be as pretty as his mother.

"Oh... I don't have a daddy" he said as if that should console her.

April didn't know what to say?

"So.... now that we know about each other, Can I play with you?"

Chase was hesitant but finally said,"Go ask my Mommy. If she says we can play, we will play" he mumbled.

April frowned a bit but she nodded her head in a yes. She anyhow wanted to see Sharon

Sharon was still pissed but she wanted to prove Momo that she doesn't have feelings for that stupid idiotic Chris. She decided she would throw this awesome dinner party which Momo has ever seen. If any questions raise about Chase. She was sure she would handle it. She was all set to go and as usual she was late. Sharon decided to deal with it when it's time.

"Chase baby... come give mommy hug."she shouted searching for her keys.

"Chase.." she called him again.

"Yes Mommy." He answered coming into the home with a car in his hand.

"Baby do not play in the sun." She said hugging the life out of the little boy.

Her eyes landed then landed on the girl who stood behind Chase looking at her in awe.

Sharon's eyes widened for a second.

"April!"she smiled at the beautiful girl "What are you doing here?" She asked surprised.

"Hello... Ms...? I'm sorry what is your last name" April asked politely.

Sharon's heart swelled at her little girl's words. Before she could say anything "Mommy ...... her name is Mommy" chase shouted.

Though April just chuckled at Chase's words. Sharon want to tell April that she was indeed her mother.

"You can call me Sharon" she said giving her a small smile.

"Okay.. Sharon Can I play with Chase?" She asked.

How many times did Sharon imagine her children playing together. Sharon gulped the heaviness in her throat.

"Does your dad know you are here?"

"Daddy is sleeping. He is not well. Though I asked Lily's permission." April said.

Sharon was glad April wasn't calling that woman Mom. Sharans heart would have shattered. 'You have no right to stop her if she calls any woman her mother because you weren't there. HER MOTHER. Her subconscious mocked.

"Please Sharon... just for a little while," April asked pleading.

Who could say No to this little cuteness?

Sharon sighed. "Okay. You can play, but be inside. Outside its too hot" she said looking at April " And Chase no adventures until mommy come okay?!" She said ruffling his hair.

"Thankyou Mommy" he said hugging her leg upto which he can reach.

"Ok now mommy is already late." She said before shouting Momo her goodbye and asking her to take care of Chase and April.

"Bye Mommy. Come soon. I love you" Chase shouted.

April stood there watching the interaction between the mother and son in front of her. May be her mom would have been same.

Sharon's heart squeezed when she caught April looking at her and Chase. She couldn't control herself before she found her self crushing April in a bear hug. It been four years.... four years she was touching her baby. Sharon's eyes teared up immediately. "See you in the evening" she heard herself before walking out of the doors.

"I can't believe you let this happen!" Martha shouted at Lily.

"What do you mean I let this happen? It's Sharon and that old hag she is living with. They invited us to dinner and Chris readily agreed. Now there wasn't much I could have done.!" Lily snapped back into the phone.

"Oho ...... you are useless. Sharon is a cunning bitch, she would definitely want to get back together. Do something to stop her until I come." Martha exclaimed before hanging up.

Lily threw her phone across the room, her poor phone had an ungrateful landing in the sofa.

I can't let Sharon have Chris back!!

She would do anything, even something as cruel as she did four years back. She would not step down.

It was already 5'o clock when

Chris woke up from his heavy sleep. He actually felt a lot better.He was pushing the curtains from his room a little, opening the balcony door. He could hear Lily and her loud music somewhere in the house.

His eyes immediately drifted to Sharon's house. The living room curtain was open and he could see little movements in the house and suddenly April came into appearance.

What is April doing in Sharon's home.

Chris was paranoid for a few seconds until he saw her laughing her heart out.

He made his way towards Sharon's home and rung the bell .

"Momo ...... Momo.... I will open the door " he heard the boys voice.

"No you are little. You can't reach the Knob" he heard April shout.

"Who is it?" Chase shouted.

Chris chuckled at the young boy "It's April's Dad."

"Daddy" April squealed.

"I'm coming.

There was little shuffling and the door opened.

"Daddy" his little girl squealed.

"Hey beanie" he said ruffling her hair.

"I'm so sorry for April's intrusion." He said looking at Momo.

"Oh.. it's no trouble. Two of them were playing around. "

"Please come in.." she said giving him way.

Chase was hiding behind Momo and peeking a little.

The house smelled of lavender and olive.It looked very beautiful and cozy. This is what Chris missed in his house for four years. The little special touches of Sharon which she was expert in making a house into a home.

Momo always took pride in showing her guests around "My Sharon decorated the whole house." She said. While Chris just gave her a small smile.

Chase was still behind Momo.

"It's okay boy... Come around and say Hi!" She tugged Chase, who very hesitantly came around.

The first thing Chris noticed about Chase was the very similar blue eyes.

"His eyes..." Chris whispered.

Chase blinked.

Momo cleared her throat causing Chris to look away.

"Hey.. young man.What is your name?" He asked.

"Chase." Chase mumbled shyly.

"How old are you?" Chris asked.

But before Chase could reply. Sharon's voice rang in the house. "Baby... I'm home."

"Mommy..." Chase went jumping into her arms.

Sharon giggled along with him. Chris missed this sound, he immediately straightened to listen more.

When Sharon saw that they were not alone and their guests have already arrived she mumbled 'Aren't you a little early'.

"I'm sorry... I just came to take April back. We will come again later." Chris said standing up from the sofa.

"It's perfectly alright Momo" said smiling.

"You can stay as long as you help Sharon and April keeps Chase busy."

Chris nodded his head , while April fist pumped.

"Your fiance is not here yet." Sharon asked.

"She will be coming" he mumbled.

Shoron just nodded and went to change. Chris got his time to look around the house there were photos of Momo , Chase and few of Sharon's but not of any male figure.... does that mean Chase might be his son?

Sharon changed into some comfy pyjamas and a sweatshirt.She could care less about her appearance all she could worry about right now is that it is how to keep Chase away from Chris.

She immediately came down and breathed in a lung full of air as Chase was no where near Chris.

It's been a hour and half since then and Sharoon was done with cooking and changed into a simple dress and put her hair in a bun.

"Oho ....something smells real nice." Joe said as he entered the house.

"You would be eating that in no time don't worry." Momo said hugging him.

"You are doing alright?!" Joe asked her.

"Fine as bull" she said .

They both could hear the a loud visible scoff,"Bull my ass"

"I heard you" Momo shouted.

"It's was meant for you to hear." Sharon shouted back setting the table.

Chris was delighted to see this side of Sharon. He offered to help but one glare from her and he stood in his place quitely.

"Where is your fiancee if she comes we can start?" Sharon asked once he caught Chris standing at the kitchen entrance.

'Does she not feel anything?' Doesn't she feel anger? Chris knew this was very inconsiderate on his behalf rubbing the fact that he was engaged to her best friend. But he wanted to be selfish. He wanted to correct what he couldnt do 4 years ago.

"She is..." he started but was cut by the ring of the bell.

"I'm sorry I lost the track of time." Lily said as she came inside with a fruit basket and a bottle of wine.

"It's okay but now that you are here... let's start out dinner" Momo said eyeing her from top to bottom.

Lily just smiled while every one sat around the dinning table.

"Chase, you are going to eat completely without wasting food" Sharon said her daily speech before strapping him in his child seat.

She had attention of everyone on the table and she didn't like it.

Her eyes found her daughters, " Same goes to you too" she said with a faint smile.

"Sharon you forgot to bring out the glasses." Momo pointed out.

"Oh... I must have forgot will just being them" she said rushing into kitchen.

"I'll help her" Lily said and followed Sharon before any one could itter a word.

"I know. What you are planning?" Lily said immediately when she was sure they both were alone.

"Excuse me?"

"Don't act all innocent Sharon. I won't let you have Chris this time. Get that straight. Quit all the games you are playing. I know you and that old hag are planning something. Just quit already. He left you and came to me four years back because he realised you weren't worth it. He choose me over you. And she will do the samething at any given point of time"

She completed her monologue.
