She was lost like a petal drifting endlessly against the wind
No one understood her for to them she was a mystery
For she had this obscure aura that drenched her presence everywhere she went
Why does everyone seem to judge too quickly?
Why look at the beauty on her face rather than the beauty in her heart?
Doesn't the beauty of the heart define what's to be seen?
If so then why make her suffer for all the hate you give her?
Don't you see the scares that decorate her chocolate complexion?
Maybe your blind
If you can't see
That her soul is in need
A soul drenched in fear
A soul waiting to be heard
But only lost in your loud.
